  • So far so good! We are immigrated from Viet Nam so pests here are just pets back there. Rats, Cockroaches, and termines are way more extreme in sizes, agressiveness, and carrying many deadly transmitted diseases since it’s a tropical n 3rd world country. We are immuned by most of them except for yellow fever & west nile from Mosquitos(5 times survivor of each fever will create a lifetime immunity in the body, but i never seen one tat can pass tat lolx, i got 3 times already:))) But since we had our daughter born here in the US and our business here as well, pests control is our No1 priority since heath is No1 concern of all trades for everybody including our family. Ants and spiders went a long way when we bought our house 8 yrs ago, but they became dominant when my daughter started to eat soft foods n then whole food. We got ****** and very annoyed by those ants n spiders evrywhere my daughter went in the house the freaking ants following. Spent quite a lot of $ on those products that are pet safe and children safe since i hesitate to use extreme products with toxicity lvl tat can take out evrything alive cuz we had our baby+ our labrador retriever at the time. So i asked around n got Adios refered by a relative who also had termine service with them be4. And tat was smooth, quick and pleasant. We went straight with a annual services both my house n my business at the 1st day of their 1st treatment cuz i had another business tat been using diff provider from previous owner contract carried over( so i got the real data to compare for my own). I dont have problem with there 79$/ bi-monthly, all I care was the end game of how their services requested by me as a customer, had fullfill all the listed requests in specific order based on their prioritic levels( like i said, serving my business is not something tat I can have control over weather it’s good or not, health department is the only judge for this game field lolx). Well, I passed the final inspection at my business and I never had a tiny bit problem with ants and spiders at my house( though foods and snacks drops getting more cuz my daughter growing up n she loves eating snacks). Mother in law loves home growth vegie, she got the rotten problem n vegie bugs, they took care for her even when im not around. So just as schedule, they came and did the routine so it’s pretty much a utility service for us as for other people. Also, emergency calls for my hornet bee nest(home), a huge Cockroach ran into my business from the outside drain cuz the HOA landscaping guys left the cover open( lot of restaurant within the premises )with the photos i sent, they came at 12 mid nite on the same day to remove it due to my urgent concern for my daughter n my customers/employees..(no extra or excuses when Adios is the only one local service provider is maintaining the truth concept of urgent call, at least they have proven to us in action, by that efforts in consistency...how we look at this and judge otherwise lolx! Respect go both ways in an ethical mutual business practice, never an oneway ‘s downtown street for either one of the parties. We prefer to keep local businesses in good hands, such as Adios because we are small business owners as well. We dont have the luxury to our expenses tat would not needed or not effectively both in cost and result, big corporations or millions companies can be easy on this matter with a fixed amounts of $ for HR or Maintenance Department payable for service like this, only they can try many providers and got times n $ to correct/repair bad try out audition:))). We are not having that capability n luxury as small business, so we sticked with Adios for almost 2 years and never got turned out at all but over providing( technical questions on certain professional aspect of pest control)i must say we can never have this bonding in a business relationship of Providers& Customers in the bigger scales. You can only find and feel the culture characteristic of daily living and doing business are naturally blended in term of customize ur service n provide when you need most( regardless of odd timing, sht never happen as schedule lolx)with local businesses not anywhere else such as Adios Pets Control! Thanks

  • During the work, he'd mentioned that there was a hole underneath the area where they removed the skunk. I paid them to reinforce that hole, but it never happened and I never heard from them. When I called them a month later, he'd mentioned he'd been injured, so I waited a little longer, and after that they wouldn't return my calls. I had to pay someone else to fix the hole after I had already paid A & M for that. On 2/28, this company charged me additionally. Two charges of $200 to my credit card. On 3/1, they did it again. This time for two charges of $250. One more on 3/2 for $250. This company has not been back to work with me again, and I had to put a hold on the business to stop them from charging my card fraudulently. Be warned if you work with this company. Do not give them your credit card information.

  • I scheduled an appointment about a week ago and was advised that the cost would be $219, but because I lived in close proximity to Joshua's office I would be receiving a $100 discount, bringing the total for $119 for an initial visit w/ a 30 day follow-up. When I was contacted to confirm the appointment, the rep advised me that I had been signed up for an annual contract and that in addition to the initial $119, I would be paying $129 for quarterly visits to remove any "additional eggs". First off, there was no mention of signing up for a service contract at all during our conversation. I asked if the $119 was a flat fee, which was confirmed and I was once again told that there would be a 30 day follow-up visit. To me, if the term flat fee and follow-up visit are stated without any mention of a charge for the follow-up, it implies that the follow-up is part of the flat fee. Either way, there was absolutely no mention of signing a yearly contract whatsoever, and it disturbed me a bit that the contract didn't even mention rodents at all, which was the sole reason I called. I can't comment on the quality of their pest control, as I cancelled immediately. However, I'd be hesitant to trust a company that completely skips over explaining any of the real details of their service.

  • Sean was very good. He set traps in the attic for the rats, plugged any holes around the outside of the house, and set outdoor traps too. He is to come back in a week to check on things. Sean is very personable and even went on the roof to check to see if I had a chimney cover. Very caring. I would definitely hire him again.

  • Communication was poor. I told the contact person I know I have rodents but I need a termite check too.  She asked if I was selling the house and needed a certificated inspector.  I said no.  They set up a Sat. appt. and gave me a 3 hour window.  I called after they were a half hour past the window.  They contacted the estimator and said they are running late.  They called  back again and asked if 3:30 would be okay?  I had been waiting since 11 am. I was trying to decide if I was going to put my old dog down that day.  I had a Quality of Life appt. at 4. I said No.  She was apologetic and empathetic.  Then we tried to rescheduled.  I sat around again.  I checked my messages and she said the tech was outside but I wasn't home he waited 20 minutes.  I said did he ring the door bell she said no he didn't want to come in the gate b/c of my beware of dog sign (which is mandatory to post whether your dog is aggressive or not). I was home up stairs waiting for someone to knock/ ring the door bell. She asked if he could come back at 3 something again.  Again I had the sad job of taking my dog in b/c his health had declined so much. She was very nice and said We rescheduled for Thursday. at 7 am. So I could be the first appt.  I appreciated that.  Then, 7:30 happened and Dennis came to the door apologized and I said do you want to go in the attic to give me your estimate for the termites bc its already getting hot.  He said, I am not the termite guy.  I am the other pests.  I  am not qualified to do termites.  He call the office she tried to explain and reschedule with they other guy.  I said no thank-you,  I have had enough.  I just put my dog down.  They did have a supervisor leave a message to try to rectify but was worried that communication would continue into the treatment of the rodents and termites.

  • We called Wildlife Removal Services after another company had found a raccoon in our attic, but did not have the expertise to remove the raccoon. Josh arrived on time, entered the attic and confirmed that there were a mother and  one baby raccoon in the attic.  He sprayed male raccoon hormone fluid in the area and then tried to scare the mother out but she would not leave. He then picked up the baby (very cute!) and brought it outside where we put it in a cardboard box, sealed it and put in a corner of the house in the shade.  He said the mother would come later and take the baby.  Sure enough, the next morning the box was in the middle of the yard with the top torn off.  Josh returned that day and confirmed the raccoons were out of the attic. He then sealed up the hole in the roof  to prevent further entry.
Overall we were very pleased with Josh's knowledge, judgement and his care in not wanting to harm the animals.  Although the price was somewhat high we would use this company again.

  • Sean at Eagleshield Pest Control in El Cajon, CA is one of the best contractors I have worked with to-date.  Great communication, very responsive and punctual, very professional, and very honest about the work.  My parents are now also contracting his services at their house, after meeting him while working at my house in San Diego. OUTSTANDING JOB!!!!  Great, great value.  I highly recommend him to anyone looking for pest control services in the San Diego area.

  • Josh came to the house, inspected the attic crawlspace and confirmed a lively rat infestation. He went around the house and identified all the spots where rats could get in, then blocked those entry points with wire mesh and foam. (There were a lot of them & he was up and down ladders and all over the roof for a couple of hours) He set traps in the attic to catch any rats left inside, then returned regularly to remove the little bodies. Josh was prompt and professional, and our rat problem seems to be 100% solved.

  • I tried to catch/deter the raccoon that had been digging up my yard. I finally gave in and call Wildlife Removal Services, based upon their Angie's list reviews and the fact they they are in my local area. Josh showed up and was very polite and professional. He identified racoon tracks right away and also suspected a skunk, though he felt my yard was "pretty tight" against skunks (you aren't keeping raccoons out given their climbing ability). He checked my entire yard for skunk entry points  and suggested a few changes, which I appreciated. But we knew there was a racoon.
Josh put out and baited the traps, educating me that "presentation" is what matters with racoons. He said something would likely be caught in 5 days. And, bingo, on the 5th day, we had the racoon caught. It actually sprung the first trap and made away with the bait, but the second trap did the job.
These guys know their stuff. They will even check the s** of the animal which will help determine if a litter is nearby and if additional trapping is required.
Finally, I was amazed Eric answered the phone on a Saturday and Josh came out the same day. Animal Removal services is professional, effective and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
