Air Duct Cleaning reviews in San Diego

I had to change the date one time. They showed up anyways and rang the doorbell and pounded on the door for 10 minutes. When they arrived the next day, they told me the deal was not $180 and it would be an extra $45 because the deal was not listed properly. Their whole presentation did not feel professional. They did not have the proper equipment, such as step ladders. The worker was having a social call while he was supposed to be cleaning the air ducts. He then started to talk to me while he was still talking to the person on the phone. He pulled out what looked to be a filter and he started to say "ouch" and I asked him what he pulled out and he said " I don't know, what do you think it is?" I am worried about what did to my system. He asked for the payment before he cleaned up the mess they made.- Danielle L.
I came home from work on a Friday afternoon to a flooded ceiling in the guest bedroom. A pipe elbow had worn/corroded through in the attic. I called Provider name locked. and they were there within an hour or so. Provider name locked. is awesome! He was very responsive and punctual. It was a very inaccessible location but he gave me a fair price for the emergency service. He even encouraged me to call others while he waited to make sure I was happy with the pricing. He supplied all the materials so there was no hassles for me. He fixed the problem in a couple hours and we turned the water back on that night. We have had no issues since.
Provider name locked. is a funny guy and easy to get along with. He is very professional and personable.

They should explain on their site that they have a bunch of exclusions. The most disturbing one is that they just dry brush clean the ducts with an electric brush but do not clean the flanges at the openings of the ducts, leaving them grimy and filthy.
When I complained to the owner that the ducts were still dirty, he stated that this was not part of his service. That the openings of the ducts would require someone with a damp cloth to wipe the grime off the sheet metal. They only do the easy dry stuff that comes off with a rotary brush.
He did offer to send someone out the next day to take a look at the dirty areas on one duct only !!! and determine whether or not they would clean off the filthy areas on that one duct. I told them to skip the "determination visit" and not to bother since there was no guarantee they would even clean it ... and if they did, it would only be one of 12 duct openings that still needed cleaning. So we are left with dirty ducts and an unresponsive owner.
I really cannot imagine how this company got such good reviews on Angie's list, unless they had relatives signing up for jobs just so that Angie's List would allow them to post good reviews. The work was poor, the duct work still filthy, and the owner unresponsive.
I would stay away from this company. It was a waste of $300+.
