Pest Control reviews in San Antonio

I was ready to quit my former pest control company when the salesman from Moxie came to the door. I was currently paying $70 a quarter for Home Team and was satisfied with the price but not with the reliability of service. The Moxie salesman was very personable and he proposed that I pay $50 for my initial service, have a free quarterly in 30 days, and that the quarterly charge would be $70, what I was currently paying. I signed the iPad, showing an initial $50 charge and agreed to keep Moxie for one year. They did the initial $50 service and did a great job. In 30 days they came again, did an outside service (did not offer to do the garage or inside) and charged $128. When I checked what had been hidden from me what I "signed" the contract, the price was $128 a quarter, not a "free" quarterly and the $70 a quarter. I called and asked and was told that I agreed to pay $128 a quarter, twice what I had been paying. Who would have done that?! In addition, I was not told by the salesman that there would be a $190 charge for cancellation. Shame on me for not demanding to see the contract and trusting the salesman.

Romney Pest Control - San Antonio
It didn't. I got a call quickly after submitting a request for a quote. I explained that a swarm of ants was crawling around my window and in and out of openings on my house. I was concerned that they might have been carpenters making a nest in my house. They tried to rope me into an expensive long-term agreement instead of just helping me with my immediate problem.

    Worldwide Pest Control Inc
I've been with Worldwide Pest Control for about 15 years. Their customer service is pretty much automated. We have a roach problem and they came on July 19. Right now we are trying to get rid of them ourselves. The service didn't help. (On the other hand, this problem has been accumulating for sometime) We have rat stations outside and this increases our quarterly cost. They have said things that the rat stations will kill roaches. (Rat stations contain a blood thinner and roaches do not have blood, so rat poison will not kill roaches) They also had no luck when they baited for rats in the attic, several years back. Also, it took a long time to get anyone who specializes in rodents out to the house.

    Beeline Pest Control
I noticed a swarm of ants crawling around my window and into and out of openings in my home. After some research I determined that they might be carpenter ants making a home in our house. I called another pest control company and they tried to sign me up for an expensive contract, when all I wanted was getting the problem fixed. Beeline gave me a very narrow time window (2 hours as opposed to the 6 hours another service company had given me) and they actually ended up arriving early! After a quick inspection, the tech said that they were Acrobat Ants and explained to me how tell the difference between Carpenter and Acrobat ants. He treated the problem quickly and was very professional.

Bob Jenkins Pest & Lawn Services
We have been using this company for two years for mosquito spray. Last year went fine. This year has been so disappointing. The mosquitoes have not gotten better and when i call to get a respray, i get charged. Today i was told that instead of charging monthly for mosquito spraying, their computer is in charge of when i will be billed for spraying and that they do not have control over this. So, I canceled my service. It wasn't working, mosquitoes were still swarming, i was being charged every three weeks vs four and was not receiving respray treatments in a timely manner when i called for them.

Romney Pest Control - San Antonio
I found a deal through AngiesList and Romney's honored the deal and have provided excellent professional service throughout the last 2 years. It turns out that I did not Termite Control as turns out I had carpenter ants. I kept the service anyway and highly recommend them.

Certified Termite & Pest Control - San Antonio
I have contacted Angie's list about my inability to amend a review. Until I can correct my previous review, I hope this will clarify it. In April 2017 I called Certified for a termite inspection and treatment. A tech/salesman promptly responded and performed an inspection of the perimeter of my house. He apparently successfully treated an affected area at a reasonable price. He erred in writing up a prevention program which caused a misunderstanding between the company and me. After some discussion, we were able to get on the same page and they refunded what I considered an overpayment. I would have no problem in hiring them again.

    Bulwark Exterminating San Antonio
BAD. I had to leave this company. Advised the company that I was having pest issues. They came out numerous times, but my issues were never fixed. So, I left them and went to another company. Issue was fixed in two weeks. Love my new company.

Certified Termite & Pest Control - San Antonio
Eddie, the technician who came out, was great. He was courteous and explained what he was seeing and what he recommended thoroughly and transparently and made me feel confident to go ahead and sign up for regular service in addition to the one-time treatment I needed for the carpenter bees. Customer service is the first and foremost thing for me when working with a service provider and Eddie aced it. I would definitely recommend him to others. Thanks for the great service!!

    Earth Wise Organic Pest Control
My husband and I have used the local Earth Wise company for a few services. Our first experience with them was when we had first moved into our first home here in San Antonio. Ants had started to sniff out the food we were bringing into the house. We called Earth Wise and they were quick to come check out what was happening. The ingredients they use are non-toxic to humans, animals, and the environment. The treatment they use is extracted from plants! #PlantPower
