    Rheumatology Associates of South Texas
Office is friendly and very efficient. Seen close to appointed time and was not rushed through the preliminary fact checking. I was impressed with their on-site blood draw - fast and seamless with their check out procedure.

    xyz Life Coach
Salif is exceptional at what he does in help others. I highly recommend him as a life coach and I am so happy he is sharing his amazing talent with me and my family. I reached out for his help during a hard time that myself and some family members were going through. I was having relationship difficulties, transitioning careers and dealing with serious health issues. I was lost, discouraged, and completely lacking motivation. In addition, other relatives also needed help and so I didn't a have any form of support and didn't know how to help my close ones. He is and expert at asking the right and pertinent questions that give great insight as to the dynamics of our situations, what we needed to prioritize in dealing with and how to best achieve our goals. His expertise, profound knowledge of life, health, relationships and really everything is simply astounding. Our calls were groundbreaking each time, we had specific items that we tracked and followed up on, particularly with the use of the Wellness Inventory Wheel, that provides insight into twelve dimensions of the individual, and also provide an efficient accountability component. Coach Salif stayed supportive all the way and clearly shows an innate passion for what he does. His communication skills are exceptional and his approach of sensitive issues is full of empathy. It feels good to have met someone so passionate about their work, who is an intelligent, intuitive soul in touch with the world and with an incredible understanding of the human condition.

    Urology San Antonio North Central
I have been coming here for many years and I have no complaint with the quality of medical treatment received; however, the billing is always a problem and the office wait time is horrible. After every visit, I receive a statement for my co-pay even though I paid it at the time of the visit. When I follow-up with the billing office, the representative always states that she sees my payment when she looks online but for some reason it has not been posted to my account. At my last appointment I waited for more than an hour and finally left without seeing the doctor. There are times when I have waited in excess of 2 hours. I am searching for a doctor in another medical group because this is much too annoying.

    Bebout, Dr. Beth A
I thought I already reviewed Dr. Bebout, who is basically a good, caring doctor. I wanted to add that after insurance requirements forced me to find a new doctor to stay in network, Dr. Bebout attempted to charge me $25 to have my medical records transferred to my new doctor's office. When I let the staff at my new doctor's office know about this fee which I couldn't afford, they urged me not to worry about it as besides not being industry standard to charge for this type of record transfer, it is almost never done. However, Dr. Bebout's office persisted in letting me know I would be charged if I wanted my new doctor to have the records. My new doctor's staff went to bat for me and finally Dr. Bebout agreed to let them have the first page of my records for free. I just have to comment that I think this is a pretty sad way to treat someone who was a good, cooperative patient for something like five years and who left through no fault of my own. No one was rude to me after I left her practice but as I said it is my understanding that this is not how the majority of doctors treat their patients. Although she is quite a good doctor, I question whether, if I had it to do over, I would see her if I knew what the outcome would be when the time came to move on to someone else.

    Jesse Moss MD,PA
Hi, my name is Julian Morell and I'm writing this in May, 2018. This is my painful, expensive, and nightmare experience with Dr. Jesse Moss, ENT-Otolaryngologist (Live Oak, TX). I would warn you NOT TO GO to Dr. Moss for any surgery. I had a surgery performed by Dr. Moss to remove parathyroid tumors in August, 2017 (North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio). This surgery was to correct my high blood calcium condition (hyperparathyroidism). This is a simple but uncommon surgery. The surgery was considered by all, as a complete failure! No parathyroid tumors were removed and my serious condition still existed. I had to undergo a second surgery, experience more pain, pay another very large sum of money, miss more work, and risk myself again to an even more serious surgical injury. What upsets me, is that I was told initially by Dr. Moss's office that he was very experienced with parathyroid surgeries. And, Dr. Moss even said that he was experienced. I dont think so. But, look for yourself; here is what Dr. Moss wrote in his own words from his Operative Procedure Report on my surgery: "... So, I then decided to do partial thyroidectomy ... This was submitted to Pathology. Hopefully, a parathyroid adenoma was in the gland." Well, there wasn't one! He just hoped that there was one. Luckily, 6 months later I had a successful surgery by another surgeon. The surgeon who successfully performed my surgery wrote; "The procedure was uneventful and he (meaning me) went home about 1.5 hours later doing very well and cured." The successful surgeon also wrote; "The ... surgeon (Dr. Moss) who has no expertise in this area, ..., 0 parathyroid glands were found. It is most unfortunate that this occurs since a negative operation is simply not a non-cure, but this can make the patient uncurable for life." I don't know how good of a doctor that Dr. Moss is in his other specialties; but, I would highly recommend that you find someone else for any surgery.

    Rogers, Dr. Tamyra L
Horrible. No results whatsoever, she gave me a botox shot back in 2015 & it worked within days, that is why I went back to her but this time it was as if they injected me with water. And to top it off they had my records wrong, they mixed my information with another patient, they had her address & phone on my chart. Very disorganized staff, Dr. Rogers herself was never rude to me but one staff member was rude when I went back to complain about the Botox not working, she had her facts wrong yet she was still arguing with me. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

    Paley, Dr. Solomon I
I've been his patient more many years. Dr. Paley is great. His downfall is his business staff. There seems to be something wrong with communication. When I last visited Dr. Paley he said just call when I need a refill. Now, a month later, I can't seem to get the office to approve my refill. And I can't seem to get anyone on the phone. I've been trying to contact the office for several days. NO RESPONSE. This is not the first time this has happened. After several days, I finally get ahold of someone just to learn they no longer will prescribe my pain medications. This is after two refusals to fill the pharmacy request. They never called to say why. No communication. Just left me hanging. It can also be difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner if you are sick. Several times, when I had the flu or other illness my attempts to get in were futile so I ended up going to a clinic. I'm considering finding another doctor.

    St. Lazarus Family Practice
I do not recommend this doctor and warn you to please stay away. This doctor misdiagnosed me and treated me for something I did not have for over a year. It was a simple thing to diagnose, and she read the results wrong and did not have a good understanding of what she thought she was diagnosing me with. She refused to let me see a specialist as she said "no need, I am treating you and everything is going fine." I finally switched to a new General Practitioner and showed him the notes and blood work from my last doctor. He was very confused and told me I did not have what she diagnosed me with. He happily agreed to send me to a specialist to make sure (more to reassure me). I went to the top specialist in all of San Antonio, and he did extensive testing and told me I was perfectly healthy and that he had NO idea why Dr. Contreras would diagnose me with anything. I even showed him the very lab work that she reviewed and based my diagnosis on, and he said even based on that I was still negative. I spent a year of my life worrying, researching the disease, greatly changing my lifestyle, spending money on medicines that I should not have been taking. The second BIG issue I had (still have) with this doctor's office is this: I had a physical and bloodwork done for a routine physical check-up. The office submitted the wrong medical codes to the bloodwork lab so when the lab submitted my bill to the insurance they kicked it back saying they can't cover it because it isn't coded as a 'physical'. Easy fix, right? WRONG. All the doctor's office had to do was pick up the phone and call the lab and give them the correct medical codes and all would be fine. A year later, the office has not ONCE contacted the lab. I called the office every 2-3 weeks for over SIX MONTHS for them to fix the issue. I was always told 'I am so sorry, I'll get it done today', and eventually it turned in to giving me different people to talk to and 'accidently' hanging up on me. The bloodwork lab records every phone call and correspondence in regards to my account and have no record of them contacting them, proving the lady I was working with (Andrea) to get it fixed lied that she had contacted them. So I am out almost $400 until it is fixed. Third, the doctor has the WORST bed-side manner I have ever experienced. I can't believe some of the things she has snapped at me. I dreaded going to each appointment because she was so mean. No one should feel that way about their doctor! One time she was referring me to a specialist and only referred to their specialty by the initials. When I asked 'What do they do?' She snapped, 'how should I know, I'm not that type of doctor.' Seriously? Who says that?! Another time she wanted me to get an expensive test done and I told her I wanted to think about it, she snapped "I don't have time for you to think about it. I am busy and so is my staff." There are so many other examples, but this review would turn into a book if I listed them all. Besides that, she is SO mean to her staff. I have felt sorry for some of her nurses. I have seen her ENTIRE staff turn over in one year! She barks at them, makes them terrified to ask her questions, which I know leads to why the staff is so disorganized and never gets anything done. Other huge issues: they tried to run an EKG on me and when I took it to my cardiologist he said they did it wrong and had to give me a new one, costing me more $$ off my deductible. Another time, she thought I had a kidney stone and ran a test, promising me as soon as it came back (supposed to be the next day) she'd drop some medicine to the Rx for me to pick up to help pass it. Well, I waited and waited, called the office and was told someone would call me back with the results, twice. I never received a call. A week and half later I passed a stone! (At this point I still had no idea if I had a kidney stone or not, but was in a lot of pain). I ended up just going to a Urologist for help. On my next visit to Dr. Contreras they said 'Why didn't you pick up your medicine last time??' My jaw dropped to the floor. As you can see, the staff is so disorganized. Whenever I call with a question, I always get the "give me your name and number and we'll call you back". Not ONCE have I ever received a call back. Even for the simplest questions, or urgent ones like 'can I get my medication now? Did the results come in?' Please save yourself so much time, trouble, and headaches and go to a different doctor. This is the most unprofessional doctor and staff I have ever experienced. I have never switched doctor's in my entire life (this should tell you I am extremely tolerable). I even stayed with her for a year. Wish I had never gone to this doctor, an entire year of my life full of misdiagnosis, huge expenses thanks to their mistakes and refusal to fix them, and a year of dealing with the worst bed-side manner.

    Haverkorn, Rashel, M.
Showed up for my appointment. 1.25 hours after my appointment I was still waiting. I decided to leave and asked the staff to refund my copay and don't charge my insurance. Staff did not want to. Doctor showed up and asked what problem was. I told her my time is too valuable to sit around and wait for doctors that can't make their scheduled appointments. They all do it, but I have made one hour my line in the sand. She told me that she is a female urologist which is rare and in high demand. She also said that as a female urologist she tends to provide more time to her patients than other male doctors that get you in and out as quick as possible, but are more punctual. I rescheduled with another doctor.
