  • The Project went really well. BOG was given a very tight schedule of about 2.5 weeks between the pool completion and the Provider name locked. party and had there not been weather challenges I’m certain they would have held the schedule.  During the project many adjustments were made by my wife and I and during each change we were able to adjust other parts of the project to control costs of which Provider name locked. and his team were always up front and honest.  Also they themselves came with some experienced insight such as not using lava rock near the pool but river rock instead to avoid injury to the kids feet.

Their team was very aggressive with the scheduling and often that lead to the team showing up on site unexpectedly early on in the project but communications improved drastically after a few conversations with Provider name locked.

I absolutely would use them for additional future projects

  • Review of Provider name locked. ’s Landscaping in San Provider name locked. , TX:
Provider name locked.  was up in our face / texting threatening and accusing us of all sorts of things
including not paying the bill two days after we received it.  He remembered the job was finished two months
previously but failed to acknowledge or remember that we didn’t receive a bill for over two months.  We asked about the
bill a month after he finished the job and then again.
I need to add that the final bill presented to us by Provider name locked. 's lawn & Landscape Maintenance.
This is odd because we paid the company immediately that installed the sprinkler system that was almost 1/2 again as much as the installation of the sod.
We had ongoing communication problems with Provider name locked.
For example what we asked him to do face to face wasn’t always communicated to Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. , i.e. I would call and they would say that Provider name locked. hadn’t told them.  We had asked him to maintain our lawn and gave Provider name locked. ’s landscaping specific instructions on what we wanted them to do.  These instructions weren’t followed and we had to reach out to the office on multiple occasions.  Going forward sometimes what we requested was done and sometimes it wasn’t, but we were still charged the same amount.  We received multiple excuses from Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. ’s as to why someone didn’t show up when they
were supposed to or something we requested didn’t get done.   I realize things happen in business, but not
    ·       When we first met we told Provider name locked. that cost was important to us and I asked if he gave military discounts and was told:
    That he gave a 10%
discount for military and senior citizens...None of the estimates nor invoices we received show a 10% discount.  If he had given a discount it would have been noted on the estimate or invoice.  He claims he gave it off of the estimate, but I have no record to if.
The military discount wasn’t given on the original estimate
    or on the final bill
Based on that, the bill should be $457 less than the total
    of $4,578.98
    ·       In Estimate 1351 he gave us
specific instructions as to how to water and take care of new sod.  I believed he should have known what we need to do
the instructions.  Some of our grass went into shock and died.  I asked Provider name locked.  Landscaping who installed the sprinkler system to come out and tell us why the grass seemed to be dying.  He checked our watering schedule and asked who told us to water only one time per day and that new sod needed to be watered 3 times per day in order for it to take hold.  He made the correction.  We were told this 2-3 weeks after the grass had been laid in.
    ·       In estimate 1375 we had two
separate charges for metal edging, installation and the removal of two crepe
We were told initially it would take 30’.  Later that was corrected and he indicated it
would be a total of 90’
§  On the estimate we were charged for 30’ and 90’ of metal edging, and installation.  That is 30’ / $97.50 more than we should have been charged
    ·       I believe that the charges
should have been reduced by $97.50
    ·       He was asked to trim the
    shrubs in the front flowerbed
Provider name locked. ’s landscaping didn’t provide us an estimate but given our
experience with Provider name locked. ’s and others we didn’t expect $250 for 2-3 hours worth
of work ($80-90/hr).  We were expecting
$25-35-40/hr.  I Provider name locked. ’t consider what
Provider name locked. ’s did as major shrub trimming.
    A reasonable charge given
    other charges would be $120.00
    ·       I asked on several occasions if when the gardeners were mowing the yard and trimming outside of the
flowerbeds if they could use the gas trimmer and trim the grass that was
growing from the lawn into the flowerbed...might have taken 30-40 minutes.
A separate crew was sent out and it took them 1-2 hours to Provider name locked. and
remove the grass that was growing into the flowerbed...nothing to do with
    §  This was a $30-60 job based
on other hourly charges by Provider name locked. ’s previous charges and our experience.
    ·       I believe a reasonable charge would have been $60.
As a comparison Provider name locked. ’s charged $135.00 + jackhammer rental for 4-6 hours
$35-40/hr. of intensive labor using a jackhammer to remove a concrete ring and
patio slab.... this took much more time than trimming shrubs and removing grass
along the inside Provider name locked. of the front flowerbed...I use the above as a comparison
Given the above the final bill would have been:
    - 457.00  Military discount
    - 60.00  Redefine flowerbed Provider name locked. (removing grass that had grown into bed)
    - 97.50  Charge for 30’ of metal edging that wasn’t used
-120.00  Charge for trimming shrubs in front flowerbed
$3,844.48 Should have been the final invoice based on my review and the military discount we were told we would get from Provider name locked.

  • It was the end of summer so it took a while to get on the schedule. Once started the work was done expeditiously and professionally. We needed a large amount of stone work which turned out very well. They even used leftover stone from our pool deck to add steps and build a walking path across the rock river. Provider name locked. had a great design which markedly improves the backyard. As requested the full yard is irrigated and involves little maintenance. I'd use Provider name locked. again for any landscaping need.
