  • Due to our own inexperience, and due to the fact that the location was brand new, we showed up for lessons before construction was completed. However, the staff at the phone number listed on the website was very helpful, and gave us a lot of useful information, once we figured out what questions to ask, and what we needed to know. Once we began swim lessons, the staff was kind, patient, friendly, and only ever totally professional with our children. Our boys, who were afraid of water before they began, have become more comfortable and confident since starting at this school. The staff have done their utmost to accommodate our scheduling needs, and to answer our questions. As our children moved up levels, there were initial scheduling mix-ups, but what few complaints I might have can be attributed to the issues it has with being new, and smoothing out bumps as it goes along. I like that the price is affordable for a children's swim class, and that there is a price break for multiple children enrolled. I like that I can sit behind glass and watch my children in their classes, and that there are toys and a movie playing to entertain children waiting on their classes. I like that this school is family-friendly. No complaints or comments have ever been made when we bring grandparents with us or our baby, who is not yet enrolled. I like that if you miss a class, you have a year to reschedule a make-up class. They are also positive and encouraging in general, with pleasant attitudes, and a desire to help, but they are also firm when necessary and focused on safety and well-being of everyone involved. We have had to get out of the pool when someone has had an accident in the pool, to facilitate cleaning, and I appreciated that cleanliness and health safety were a priority to them. I also like that the pool is heated and indoors, allowing my children to attend all year. Finally, we have been attending since the school opened at this location, a little over a year now, and despite the fact that it has become popular and busy, particularly in the summer, we are still recognized. They know us by sight and by name. I'm certain that having 4 children is a part of that, but it contributes to a personalized feel. This is a fantastic school, and we feel blessed to have found it, and to see our children thriving in it.

  • The front staff who took me to the surgical waiting area were friendly. the nurse who checked me in to waiting area prior to surgery was great too. The issue i had was when I got out fo surgery, the recovery room nurse was a male, he was so inconsiderate, told me to stop shaking my head, unfortunately i can not help it , it was due to anesthesia, as i was recovering, i was shaking, my head, my body, shivering , i was cold and in severe pain. My pain was not controlled, I flelt like fish out of the water. Sheer pain. No warm blanket, or not warm enough to comfort me. I felt like I was in a converyor belt, waiting to be unloaded. I was transfered to the floor and again was in pain, waiting for the pain med was agony, wait was too long. When I was discharge, the nurse Provider name locked. wheeled me out, she was so rough, with the bump on the hallway, and was not careful. Some of the staff of the hospital gets it , that i am a patient and they are gentle but more needs training how to be comforting, and patient oriented. I expect this in the 1970's not in 2015. Sad.I guess this is expected in a large hospital. Its hard to herd the entire organization.

  • When I went to join, even though I was there in person, they sent me to a kiosk to join "online" and gave me a handwritten keycard to show them when I arrived.

    The facilities were fine, relatively clean.  They don't provide towels or soap, but it wasn't that big a deal.

    Then I got a job in a different part of town that has its own gym.  I knew by the contract I'd have to pay a $50 fee and the contract says you have to cancel "in writing."  I sent an email (I no longer work on that side of town) and they said I had to come IN PERSON.

    After having to sign up online when I was there in person.

    I was also told that if I didn't come by the next day they'd charge me for another month (I had to let them use EFT or a credit card via an online account).  On the phone and via email they were quite rude.  there is no reason to make me drive 40 miles out of my way to cancel when I could do it via email and they could collect their extortion fee online.
