We are empty nesters and got a golden retriever puppy that turned out to be more of a challenge than all our other dogs combined. Provider name locked. chewed, did a lot of play biting, which was bad with his needle sharp puppy teeth, generally misbehaved, resource and food guarded, pulled like crazy on the leash when on a walk and, well, let's just say that he likes to eat his food twice, if you know what I mean. Provider name locked. taught us how to properly train Provider name locked. . Not only did she tell us what to do but WHY which all makes sense when Provider name locked. explains it in terms of dog pack mentality. Provider name locked. is doing very well and he is very well behaved now. We still have to work with him on the food and resource guarding, though as that will be a longer term effort. During all our interactions with Provider name locked. , she was a consumate professional. She was prompt, courteous, very thorough and very responsive to any questions we had. She has a structured training program and left reading material for us to refer to after her sessions with us. From time to time, we had issues come up and Provider name locked. would respond to either call or texts. Provider name locked. is also a very nice, friendly and humorous person as well. We also use Provider name locked. 's boarding services as Provider name locked. really loves her.
If you have a problem dog, Provider name locked. is the person to call in San Provider name locked. . She is outstanding.

We took in a stray pit bull mix about a year and a half ago and after unsuccessfully trying to re-home her, we decided to keep her. The longer we had her, the more protective and fear aggressive she became. She was very sweet to my husband and I, but was fearful of school buses, delivery trucks, motorcycles, people walking in the neighborhood with or without dogs, etc. And we were unable to have company over to the house. We decided to do behavioral training after she slipped out the front door one day and almost attacked the Provider name locked. .
Just to give you an idea of start to finish in our training: Our first training session it took my dog an hour and a half to calm down enough to be able to do anything with her. The second session, it took about 20 minutes. After that, it was usually a matter of minutes (2-3 min Provider name locked. ). Provider name locked. came to our house once a week for at least an hour each time (usually more than an hour) to do our training sessions. We had homework to complete each week (daily practice). We just completed our 6th week of training (still have 2 more sessions to go) and I can say that our dog is a completely different dog. She had become alpha/leader of the house since day 1 because I had no previous experience with pit bulls/aggressive dogs and was fearful of her reactions. She now knows commands, walks in heel position and doesn't pull, no longer growls/lunges/barks at people or large trucks driving down the street. She also knows that she is no longer the leader of the house...I am. It's amazing! She still has some things to work on, but she has come so far! Provider name locked. has been bringing other dogs to the house during our training sessions and my dog is able to sit and stay (relaxed) within 2 feet of them. Unbelievable!
Provider name locked. is also extremely patient. I would get frustrated/impatient with my husband for making mistakes or doing things incorrectly during training sessions, but Provider name locked. was always very pleasant and patient with any corrections that needed to be made.
Behavioral training is an investment. We put it off for a long time (probably too long). However, one of my friends put it into perspective for me: Would you rather pay $600 for training, or thousands in a lawsuit (or worse, have to put your dog to sleep) if your dog were to get out and attack/bite someone?
I would highly recommend Provider name locked. for any training needs, as she is very knowledgeable and experienced in training. Our results have been remarkable. I was beginning to fear our only option was going to be to put our dog to sleep, but she has done extremely well with training and that thought is not even an option/consideration any longer. If you do decide to do training, I can't stress enough the importance of doing your daily homework/practice and being consistent. I honestly believe our results have come from consistency (which, I know, is not always the easiest thing when you view your dogs as your children/family members).

The service is always great. The dogs are well taken care of and return in great condition. Their prices are less than care by vets which seems to be at a lower standard than Provider name locked. anyway. I recommend them highly.
