Computer Training reviews in San Antonio

  • Donald is fantastic. Donald upgraded our software from Vista to Windows 10. He promised everything would be where it was before the upgrade and it was! He is efficient, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and has the gift of being able to explain complex technology to someone who doesn't know it.

  • First, Dan made an appointment that was convenient for both of us. He was prompt and on time as agreed upon. The problem was that the iTunes program was not responding. Cause was the The newest update would not download because there had been a lapse in updating, on my part. Program required more than a uninstall reinstall fix. Dan, always knows how to fix what ever me or my wife "messes up." While Dan was here we asked him to take a look at anything else that might need 'fixing.' His patience is really appreciated inasmuch as our extending his visit in order to do general cleanup resulted in his being on site for some time more than he probably anticipated, due to these late requests. Greatest computer guy we have ever used for any issue that arises. He will provide guidance for a simple fix or come when needed.

  • Excellent! Dan is a great guy and easy to work with. First of all, he came to my house exactly on time. Also, he diagnosed the problem easily--I was afraid my computer had been infected with viruses, but it was running slowly because it's a few years old and the processor doesn't have enough power. He also showed me how to check the computer efficiency and see which programs were eating up the power. When I had questions later, he did remote service several times and explained what my options were. I've had to get my computer repaired before and always had to take it in and wait several days, getting little explanation. I recommend him highly. He also has a website which uses very little power itself and is full of information.

  • Pat always arrives punctually or, if delayed, calls ahead with an estimated time of arrival. My questions range from beginner to really beginner. She helps me adapt to smart phone, notebook and keep them all able to access incoming material. She is always good-natured about taking questions that didn't occur while she was on the premises and, time permitting, will talk you through the solution of whatever problem just cropped up.

I located Pat as a resource when I first bought my Mac. We have dealt with Pat in seven or eight visits since acquiring my Mac and while I have not transferred over to  it completely, that is not Pat's fault. She has been very helpful in trying to get me acclimated to the Mac and diligent in sustaining my ongoing needs for the more familiar PC.

Because I've become familiar with her ethics and good nature, I introduced her to my wife recently when she had a problem. My wife's non-Mac Computer was very slow. Pat detected unusual mal-ware and offered to drop the computer off with a specialist in that area and took on herself the explanation of the problem there. When the computer was fixed, she picked it up, checked it out, brought it back, and gave a tutorial in how to avoid similar problems in the future.

While they were fixing my wife's computer, they started discussing her new smart phone. When they finished on the computer, Pat showed her a number of steps to make better use of the phone, steps that the phone company hadn't bothered with. Not everybody may have the fundamental adaption problems that my wife and I do. But whatever the problem particularly with a Mac but even with a standard PC, I can recommend Pat Knight very highly.

  • She called quickly to set up appointment and was flexible to come on a Saturday.  She called to verify appt. and arrived promptly. We had a  problem with reception to the room in our house where we keep the back, that  began when we switched out internet to provider to Uverse.
She listened carefully and took time  to determine the best way to resolve the issue with the home network.   This took some brainstorming to determine best solution and she made a call to check on a piece that would relay the signal most effectively.  We decided to purchase that so my husband went to get it and she helped get it set up and the network now functions very well.

For instruction she asked what I wanted to know/ do  on the iPad and mac laptop and was clear and patient in the instruction. We had different contact lists between 2 iPhone and our AOL account and we decided to store these on the cloud for mutual access.  She helped set up an iCloud account and then uploaded and transferred lists so all devices (including the iPad) are now synced. Also synced the calendars on all 4 devices. We were very pleased with the time she took, her pleasant attitude and knowledge and ability to resolve issues. We had been at a loss as how to best approach all these issues and were doubtful that the apple store would be able to help us. This was a terrific solution and we will recommend it to anyone with mac / apple questions.

  • She's very pleasant, professional, and knows what she's talking about. She does troubleshooting, info transfer, iPhones, iPads, etc. It's hard to find someone who works on MACS, especially someone who's willing to come to you. She showed me how to tailor my computer settings to better meet my needs.

  • They were easy to contact by phone. Spoke with one of the techs. Very informative, and pleasant to discuss my computer issues. I called back with more questions and they were addressed as well. I will use them in 2014 because of this easy experience.

  • Ron got there right on time and was very clear in his training. Answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable and accesible. Excellent value and I'm sure I will be calling him again! I would definitely recommend him.

  • Donald was referred to me by someone else, based on our initial phone call, I trusted his level of expertise. I dropped off my computer at his office to save money on a trip charge and he performed the work quickly and on time. He even went the extra mile to get online and tell me which wireless in he recommended that was actually in stock at my nearest Best Buy while I was on the phone with him. He was very helpful and patient and I will definitely use him again for any PC issues that may come up.

  • Dan showed up at exactly the time he said he would and went right to work. No wasted time, and, as others have said, he told me what he was doing all along the way, and then explained what I didn't understand.
