ARam Builders Stucco & ExteriorsI needed a stucco contractor to do stucco borders for 8 replacement windows and to fix leaks on some windows replaced 12 years ago. I also wanted to discuss options for changing the exterior stucco color. I had met the owner (Shaan) when he came to evaluate the job with one of the window bidders on the previous (2008) window replacement. He was the only stucco contractor to actually look at the job at that time. Unfortunately, I hired a different window/stucco vendor for that job. I contacted 6 stucco contractors including Ram. Shaan's recommendation to absolutely eliminate the leaks was to replace stucco all the way to roof above the bad areas. He was concerned potential rot behind the water barrier. We eventually decided to replace ~80% of the exterior stucco and skim/re-surface the rest. The job was pushed a month late due to manufacturing delays for the windows. Ram was very flexible in adjusting to the schedule change. The Ram crew (4-10 men depending on the phase of the job) came in ahead of the window installation and accomplished the scaffolding assembly and stucco tear-off in 3 days. This exposed significant problems with the previous window installation and the original water barrier and stucco installation. Since Ram has experience with all types of exterior work, they were able to address all these problems. They removed, re-flashed and re-installed windows and did extensive work to fix roof flashing problems. They installed a double water barrier and modern 3 coat stucco system. Some cold weather tenting/heating was required due to the schedule delay. This was handled in routine fashion by the crew with no work delays. The final result was flawless. Overall, the crew was very professional. They came on time every day and worked to dark. The foreman was absolutely top-tier. He went "above and beyond" in accommodating our requests and even personally worked with me to re-route some exterior cabling. Shaan made frequent visits to inspect progress and was always accessible by phone even though the company was concurrently working on several other jobs.- Greg W.

AGray Huskie Custom Exteriors, LLCIn June of this year we needed to have our 9 year old house painted, along with replacing some weather damaged trim around our windows. We hired a painting contractor who claimed to know what he was doing. Instead of replacing the trim he tried to caulk, fill, and cover up the old rotten boards. He watered down the paint and then proceeded to use one very thick coat instead of the two coats he promised. He ended up destroying our soffit and siding. He also damaged the weep holes on most of our lower level windows. We were left with a huge mess, and lost half the money we paid up front. I reached out to a full list of contractors to repair our home. Most of them were shocked at the damage that was done, but seemed to be to busy or not interested in helping us out. In comes Gray Huskie Custom Exteriors. I called and left a message with Miguel, and he called me back within less than a half hour to schedule a time to come out to our house that same evening for a bid. Miguel and his son were professional, knowledgeable, and presented us with a very fair estimate. Within three weeks they were on the job and working hard to fix our home. We were so impressed with Miguel and his crew. It was so nice to have a contractor show up on time, and always let us know ahead if there was a change in the schedule. We are so happy with the quality of the completed work on our home. It looks brand new again. I would not hesitate to hire Gray Huskie Custom Exteriors in the future. Big Thanks!- Shannon H.

AUSI All Purpose Windows & DoorsUSI was wonderful to work with. They had to coordinate with another company that was replacing our siding, and everything went very smoothly. They installed new Anderson Fibrex windows, which look beautiful and function well. They even replaced the old white tile window sills with wood sills that we could stain to match the baseboards and wainscoting throughout the house. The whole thing took only three days--and the third day was necessary only because a couple of windows that had been replaced earlier necessitated drywall repairs had been a different depth than the new windows, so some dry-wall repairs were necessary. Rusty was our sales person and he stayed in touch until the job was completely done. I'd definitely use them again.- Hydee C.

A1954The windows are great! Our house is much more comfortable now. The insulation and radiant barrier also help save a lot of energy. The company was professional throughout. CI had 24 windows replaced by them. The owner is friendly and pleasant to deal with. I had about 20 issues with the job, ranging from minor annoyances to major problems. The owner agreed that all of them were valid. The major problems included things like the installer not showing up, them ordering the wrong products, and taking 7 weeks to do the job that was scheduled to be complete in 2 days. On a 5 star rating system I would rate them as: Value-4, Communication-2, Quality-3, Execution-2. If you are not a discerning individual and have plenty of time on your hands, you would probably be fine with them
