    Meticulous Home Remodel & Repair
We had two jobs needing care; (1) clearing gutters, (2) cleaning and oiling of a beautiful wood front door. Brent from Meticulous was the employee who helped us, and he was first-rate--especially with the door. He was especially skilled and knowledgeable and gave the door some initial sanding and then a treatment which made the grains in the wood stand out. We call on Meticulous for help in many areas, and their work and advice is always first rate.

    Nomad Design
This is the second project Ive done with Damon, and hopefully, not the last. I echo comments from the other reviewers that he is an artist and a perfectionist. My recent project was a complete set of kitchen cabinets and a large master bathroom vanity using rift-sawn white oak and painted uppers. The biggest change in my kitchen was replacing a large peninsula with an island. Designing the new island was challenging, but Damon took the time to visually lay out various sizes and configurations, until we finally reached a decision on the best size and location. Another challenge was figuring out how we could fit a dishwasher that was previously in the peninsula back into the cabinet next to the sink. Once we got to a final layout/design (both kitchen and master bath), Damon built custom sized cabinets and everything fit perfectly. He made many great suggestions for things that I never would have thought of. For example, odd sized spaces in the upper kitchen cabinets were made into a couple of pull out spice drawers and they are great! My kitchen had crooked walls and a sloping floor, but all the finished cabinets were plumb, level, and square. Despite being a one-man shop, Damon was able to stay out in front of the other subcontractors working on my project. He built the cabinet faces so that they look like one continuous piece of wood and they are beautiful! Damon finished off my kitchen by making matching pantry doors and windowsill. My kitchen and master bath are truly one-of-a-kind and Im sure I will love them for years to come. Damon is a great guy to work with, reasonably priced, and consistently delivers the highest quality workmanship. Im hoping to get on his schedule again soon for some custom shelving.

    Xiphos Inc
The foundation of referral websites like this is dependent on providing a comprehensive perspective to the next person wanting to research and evaluate what it is like to work with @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License # 10348455-5501. It is through the feedback of previous customers that future customers can gain real-life insights. Based on our experience with @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License #: 10348455-5501 we give a rating of less than zero. We will never work with @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License #: 10348455-5501 again and strongly warn, caution, and urge anyone considering working with @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License #: 10348455-5501 to find another resource to do whatever project you are looking to have done. We are out of thousands and thousands of dollars (pursuing legal action) because @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License # 10348455-5501 walked away from our project after stopping work for over a month. @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License # 10348455-5501 stopped returning phone calls, emails, and text messages so with no way to move our project forward, we were forced to exercise our right to terminate our relationship per the terms of our contract. We are now left with a 4-foot dropoff outside of our backdoor created by digging a hole for footings. Our backyard is littered with the tons of broken-up concrete and other materials from his demolition work all done without securing a construction permit. @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License # 10348455-5501 abandoned the project and left us with a sprinkler system that is unusable because he tore through our water pipes, electrical wiring, and opened-up large gaps in our fencing which prevents us from putting our dogs in the backyard. Finally, and most disturbing, we were given answers to questions that we have discovered were not truthful. In summary, our experience with @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License # 10348455-5501 is he does not tell the truth, he takes your money and runs, and simply stops communicating leaving you with no options. Hopefully our experience will help inform and guide your decision whether to go forward. We strongly recommend that you do not work with @Shaun Lynch, @Xiphos Inc., and @General Builder License # 10348455-5501.

    Painter Bros
The best part about the experience was our project manager, Justin Carter. He was easy to work with, easy to contact, and generally straight-forward. We were quoted 3 weeks wait but when scheduled that ended up being 5 weeks out. Then when the time came for our project, we got a call and were delayed by 3 days, supposedly to wait for interior painters who are perfectionists who take their time. Well our 2-2.5 day project ended up being only 1.5 at first. I came home the night of the first full day to find they had pulled tape and cleaned up. The paint was BAD. The wall coverage was ok but every door, all the trim, the ceilings, and all the edges were extremely patchy. Not only that but paint was on our light fixtures and carpets. They didnt paint our accent wall at all and left the closets unpainted. Justin agreed after I sent photos that it was not done correctly and they came back out the next day. It was agreed everything but the walls really needed a second coat. Rather than prep again and do that second coat the right way, they just spot painted the areas my husband specifically pointed out. They also didnt have their own supplies and wanted to use ours. I came home that evening to find our hardwood floors covered in paint because they didnt put down anything to protect them and we had to cancel plans for the evening so they could stay until 8:30pm to finish. The carpet was not cleaned, we are finding paint on our cabinets and fixtures still. Had they done things correctly the first time, they wouldnt have been there into the night on the 3rd day and we wouldnt have patchy paint. The paint looks *fine* now. The doors and trim still need work as well as around some fixtures. Our closet interiors are extremely patchy because again, they decided one coat was fine. We are going to do further touch-up ourselves rather than hope for it to be done right a third time. We did a better job painting other rooms ourselves. I would hire someone else, even if the price is slightly higher.

    HQ Construction, LLC
The project proceeded quite well. We were kept in the loop on all the decisions and progress. It was a construction project so there were a few hiccups, but nothing significant. All in all I would say its one of the smoothest remodels Ive ever been through.

    Powell's Pro Building and Remodeling
Powell's Pro always completes their work professionally and according to schedule. Late in 2018 they installed a completely new roof (partially flat, and partially shingled), along with adding a beautiful extension of our existing roof to cover a patio. They reinforced the structure of our garage, and did extension re-wiring and remodeling of the garage area. Rain gutters were installed as well. This spring they completely renovated our back yard, including the addition of a retaining wall, flagstone patio and walkway, all new sod and sprinklers, New fence was installed in some areas, along with repair of existing fencing, and the addition of a gas line to our fire pit. It is always a pleasure to work with Rodger and Lisa Powell as well as their entire crew!

    Red Butte Construction LLC
I cannot say enough good things about Red Butte Construction. The owner, Bill, and I got off to a great start as we are both named Bill. Joking aside, it was rapidly evident that he understood what needed to happen and how the best way to accomplish our goals were. Not only was he knowledgeable about the ins and outs of navigating the permitting system, it was evident that he knew construction as well. Bill runs a very tight ship and does not like to fall off schedule. There were many weekends and holidays that I would stop by the house only to find him working on a project in order to maintain schedule. I would have to say that most of the delays were, in fact, caused by my wife and I failing to make design decisions in a timely fashion. Bill was also able to help us find various reputable vendors in order to pick out finishes and other items. As the project progressed, Bill also came up with many little designs within the house to make the space more live-able. The loan that I acquired was a little strange and confusing, however, Bill showed an amazing amount of patience working through the process and with the different inspections. Finally, as a true testament to his character, I can still call Bill months after our project is done and he quickly gets back to me. I would absolutely recommend him and will use him for future projects.
