The workers were cordial and efficient in the installation. They cleaned up and removed the debris. The installation looked good and works well.
The workers explained the break-in steps required before full operation. The break-in went fine, but the controls didn't operate as expected initially. The company was happy to send a representative to the house to resolve any issues before we paid the full amount due.
The store was so busy in late September that it required waiting a long while on a couple of occasions for different issues to speak with someone who could help. The representatives were knowledgeable and cordial.
We really like the product, but we did not expect that the electric cord would be exposed from the side of the fireplace to the wall plug. Rather,we assumed that it would be Provider name locked. somehow. Furthermore, we did not have the required 3-prong plug in the correct location. Our handy man, who happened to be working on site that day, switched two electrical outlets to put a 3-prong outlet in the correct place where the cord would reach.
After a conversation in the store, we purchased the wall-mounted remote control for the fireplace. As we were entitled to a rebate from the gas company, the store personnel were helpful in emailing us the required final statement showing paid in full at the end of the project.

Alpine told my wife that a valve in our two year old fireplace (purchased and recommended through Provider name locked. ) was not working and that it would cost $800 to replace it! Not knowing how long this new "valve" will work, my wife and I are opting to purchase a new fireplace through another company - we think it will save us money in the long run rather than spend $800 every two years with Provider name locked. !!

The fireplace works well and they showed up. I had to call the salesman Provider name locked. two days before because he hadnt specified the color or arch vs straight. I went to the store told an employee there who notified Provider name locked. and I called Provider name locked. to request honeyglo brown. They brought and installed black. They can out to fix it and painted it in place but its spray paint so wavy and not consistent coverage and the paint has run on the glass. They are suppose to come today to fix it but I haven't seen anyone. Horrible service and professional quality for the price.
