Any Hour Electric Plumbing Heating & Air
I should've paid attention to the F rating this company has, but went ahead and called them anyway. They say they will look at your problem and then tell you what services you need. That sounded good as I am not sure exactly how to define the problem we are having. Is it a drainage problem, do we need a landscaper (as another company told me), or basement waterproofing, or a little of everything? When I called they immediately set up an appointment a few days ahead which was a great relief to me. We want to avoid any more water going into our basement. I had to make special arrangements for someone to be at the house as Any Hour Services will not give an estimate if there isn't someone home over the age of 18. I called two days before to confirm the appointment and was told it was scheduled. Then, that same day at 7:30 pm they called to cancel! I was basically told they could not honor their appointment with me. Why would I make another appointment for their services knowing it would possibly get cancelled? They aren't Any Hour Services. They are No Services. They effectively lost us as customers!

    BASEco Foundation and Concrete Solutions
BASEco was great, all around. The guy who met with me and provided an estimate was on-time, thorough, quick, and professional. The work was scheduled relatively quickly and the team that performed the work was awesome. Navigated around all the garage mess from our recent move-in and did the work as promised. It's been about 3 months since the work was done and no water in the garage!

    Powell's Pro Building and Remodeling
My wife and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Powell's Pro Building. They met our every need and desire. Their employees were so easy to work with. Very, Very friendly crew that we soon called them our good friends. They came in UNDER BUDGET...what a great Christmas surprise for us. I could really go on and on. My wife and I now consider the Powell's and their entire crew as good and cherished friends. Powell's can be counted on!!!!!!!

BASEco is the real deal. We had water coming into the basement where there is a low spot in the landscaping *and* the previous homeowners had put a sprinkler box there that had become mostly buried, had leaked and been repaired not long before. We suspected water had saturated the foundation wall. BASEco came out when they said they would, did what they said they would, and were courteous, prompt, and professional, and the price was very reasonable for how much work it was. They did some concrete levelling on that side of the house too and it looks great. Also very much to their credit: we had water on the basement floor awhile after their work was complete, called them, and they were promptly back to work on it and see what was up. We discovered that in the same area the sewer line had been quite degraded. They worked on it until it was obvious the damage went way beyond the scope we asked them to work on. They were great and if we need them again I won't shop around.

Work went fine. Communication with Salesperson was difficult. Did not respond to direct messages. When I called the office, then they'd contact him and he would respond. Work coulddhave been done 3 weeks earlier and one leak episode avoided, if response had been prompt.

    On The Level, Inc
Arrived on time for estimate. Very good at explaining everything to me in terms I could understand.  After receiving other bids, we decided to go with Doug & Lori @ On the Level.  We set up appointment.  They were right on time.  They went to work so fast I was amazed at what they got done in the short time they were here.  They cleaned up everything as they worked, leaving things really nice.   I am really impressed with there PROFESSIONALISM & HONESTY.  I will be calling them again to do other work.

The men explained everything before they went to work. Very professional and cleaned up afterward. Sheet rock had to be removed and baseboard pulled out. They showed me the crack between a new foundation and an older foundation that was the problem. They then used a compound which expands to fill the crack and is waterproof. I am very glad I called them and would use them again if needed.
I appreciated the fact that my first call yesterday was returned within hours and was told someone would be here this morning. They kept their word and did their best to show me each step.

The process went very well. I contacted Rock for a consultation and he explained everything in a very straightforward, clear manner. The price of the job was very reasonable compared to other bids received. He was also very thorough in meeting requirements about a permanent fix and so the basement can be finished without further worries. Within a week of the consultation, the job was complete. They were very flexible working around my schedule and showed up promptly. I was at work while the job was done and when I came home the job was complete and fully cleaned up. I was very satisfied with the results and would hire them again for foundation work.

I have an older home with a shelf basement that had leaked after a new sprinkler system was installed. Rock came out and determined what needed to be done. They waterproofed the outside of the house by digging down and applying a membrane to the outside. it worked well for one section. They came back and redid the work a couple of weeks later for a another section that still was leaking a small amount of water. They were very professional. They did not charge for coming back again and seemed genuinely concerned about getting the job right. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. The work was done quickly and at a very fair price. I would recommend them to someone else who needs to water proof their basement. They were knowledgeable and good to work with.

Since Xypex ® requires water to expand Mike instructed me to lightly spray the wall for a month before reinstalling sheetrock. I watched the bare foundation wall closely every time we got a rainstorm. Mike had warned me that I would see the spots where water would try to come in and to let him know if I detected any moisture. From that first treatment there was never anymore water running down the wall and onto the floor. After a couple months of watching I had identified a few small areas where the wall was sweating after heavy rain. I had also identified a pattern that the water followed. The natural gas line enters the house through that wall and it is clear that is where the water spots begin working their way down and along the wall. The house is a 1922 bungalow with a very porous foundation. As promised and at my request, Mike retuned in June 2014 to reapply xypex to the areas that showed minor signs of moisture. New sheetrock has now been installed. We've experienced several storms and just a week ago periods of prolonged precipitations with no sign of any water in the bedroom. I'm very satisfied with the quality of Mike's work, his responsiveness and professionalism.
