    Stan came out the same day I requested and had to come back two days later with the part to "fix" the overheating compressor. The problem was determined to be that the fan went out. I saw some improvement in the temperature of the fridge but noted approximately one month later the same problem was occurring - the fridge and freezer weren't maintaining the proper temperature. Had another company come look at it only to find it was the wrong part installed which meant it didn't fit appropriately and wires were spliced to try and make it work and there was duct tape, glue and zip ties to hold it together. Knowing that it isn't surprising that the problem came back. Would not hire again.

    he fixed the problem, which was discovered. mid Sept 2017, which lasted a couple of years, but now we have the same water leak. when we pulled the fridge away from the wall we discovered a Rube Golberg fix with tons of cardboard, duct tape and other interesting things stuffed into the back of our fridge. I won't call them again.

    Hart's Appliance was great! 1. Ms. Hart responded promptly to my request (four of the five other companies I contacted through Angie's List did not respond at all), and suggested I try resetting the machine, explaining how this was done. If this had worked, I would not have had to pay anything at all; it didn't work, but at least Hart's Appliance was kind enough to suggest this. The other company that responded either didn't know how to reset the machine, or didn't want to tell me unless I paid for a visit. 2. Mr. Hart arrived within the half-hour appointment time (SO much better than the half-day times that many other companies use), was completely organized and professional, and had diagnosed my problem within about 10 minutes. He had the replacement part that I needed with him, and it took only a few more minutes for him to install and test it. As he tested it, he noticed a slightly unusual noise, and determined that although the machine now worked, he would check the following day to see if there was a newer version of the same part for the machine. The most important thing for me, after 10 days with no ability to do laundry, was that the machine would work in the meantime. He refused payment at that time, saying that he would charge me only when it was properly repaired. 3. Mr. Hart called me the next day to say that there is indeed a slightly different part than the one he had put in my machine, and that I should schedule a time with Ms. Hart for him to come install the correct one. Within a few days, he was back, and had installed the new part within a few minutes. He charged me only for the original service call (and some minor amount for the correct part). I greatly appreciated his knowledge, integrity and professionalism, as well as his wife's. Hart's provides a level of service far beyond what typical, large companies do.

    We had a 7 year old oven that went sideways. We are going to remodel next year so we did not want to replace the oven, just get another year out of it. But it was a complicated problem with the motherboard and sensors. ABP delivered fantastic old school service. Our technician (I believe his name was Dave) was extremely knowledgable, professional, and delivered exactly what he said he would do on time and in budget. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Terrible to work with. I called about a leak in my washing machine and their repairman came to check it out. He said I had four other things that need fixing and that I'd be fine after fixing it. I decided to go ahead and fix it because it was still cheaper than a new machine. Within two weeks, it was broken again. The same man comes for his return visit--two hours late (4-6 on Saturday night, shows up at 8! No apologies. And after I waited a whole week for him-- canceling my holiday trip). He fiddles with nobs for an hour and mansplains things to me and finally says what he thinks it is. But if he had thoroughly examined the machine before, he should have seen that. Right? By telephone, a woman tells me that they'll give me the new part for cost but it's another $150. By now, I could definitely have purchased a brand new machine and I tell her that if he had caught this problem, I would have made a different decision. She immediately gets nasty with me, saying "Let me tell you how life works." And went on to give a big lecture, like I'm some kind of idiot. She was a huge swear word to me and when I pointed out that I didn't appreciate being yelled at and that I was trying not to yell at her, she said I hadn't been "doing a very good job." What kind of professional is that? Even if she did perceive me to be rude--that is not how to treat a paying customer! She pretended to try to *work with me* for a couple of minutes--all the time being a swear word and I finally had to hang up. Guess I paid $250 for a piece of junk in my basement. Guess I won't be hiring them again.

    Abdul from AA quickly diagnosed the problem as a design error in Samsung refrigerators that causes the cooling fan near the coolant tubes to become covered in ice and stop turning, thus stopping the cooling of the refrigerator portion of the unit. He suggested that I simply turn off the our freezer/fridge for a day to let the ice melt. He would return ASAP to properly insulate the fan from the coolant tubes. Upon return, he made the need alteration and the refrigerator came back to life and works like charm!

    Stan came in a very quickly diagnosed the problems. He was able to complete the fix on the dishwasher immediately. He ordered the parts for the ice maker and dryer and came over and replaced/fixed them. He was very punctual and friendly. He was very respectful of both me and my home. I will definitely call him again with any other repairs.

    I had a huge freezer in my basement full of about $1000 in meat and frozen food that just stopped working at 5:55pm. I called Appliance Man 5 minutes before they closed and begged to have one delivered to my house tonight before everything melted and went bad. They were here at my house in 35 minutes!! They got the whole thing installed and set up for me without one complaint. No one has customer service like that anymore. I will definitely be buying all my future appliances from them! Seriously, with that kind of customer service, and the money they saved me, I will be naming my next pet after them. Come here "Appliance Man." It has a certain ring to it, doesn't it?!

    Left message for John at Downhome Appliance at 1PM; John returned the call by ~2:45pm, and arrived at 3pm as he estimated. Service work was completed by 3:30pm. John asked several questions about the problem, analyzed the situation, check the drain line, removed and cleaned out the drain pump, restarted the washer, and it performed properly. John provided info on the repair history of this product, and likely future repairs. He also recommended new washers that are well made. John was very punctual, pleasant personality, informative, and charged a reasonable rate.
