Service Champions Heating & Air Conditioning
Great. Very professional. i have used them before and would highly recommend them. Rubin, the service representative took pictures of all the parts of the AC and heating systems and e planned where needed repairs or parts replacements may be necessary. Gave the system a good cleanup and completed required maintenance. As to price, I think this is around $100 for a visit in the spring and another one in the fall.

    Burns Estate Liquidator LLC
It was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. The company owner seemed very professional when we interviewed her, particularly in comparison to other estate liquidators we interviewed. We explained that we needed to sleep in our home at night but at her request, would leave during the hours she and her helpers were arranging, pricing and holding the sale. She actually did not want us to stay in our home at all, and repeatedly reminded us of what a favor she was doing for us by letting us stay in the house at night. When we interviewed her, she said that she often would find treasures that she would ask the owners if they intended those types of items to be sold, and if the owners did not want them sold, she would return the items. A few days before the sale was to start, she posted the items for sale on her website - our son was reviewing the website and alerted us that his class ring was being sold. Susanne Burns, the owner, apparently found the class ring in our son's former room, did not alert us to the find - when we contacted her about the ring, she finally said we could have it back, but not before she told us about how much she expected to gain from selling the ring and asking how she was to explain to potential buyers who were coming to see the ring that it was no longer for sale. She reminded us of this several times during the short period of time we had to deal with her. On the last day of the sale, she permitted a buyer to dismantle and remove two wardrobes that were attached to the walls of an upstairs storage closet. When asked why she did not contact us, she said she thought she was doing us a favor by having the wardrobes removed. Who would have thought that built-ins were fair game in her mind. When Susanne Burns came to our house to pick up the key in advance of her work to get ready for the sale, she made a big point of going through the house to point out pre-existing damage, but when we pointed out that the removal of the wardrobes had done significant damage to the walls of the storage closet, she told my husband and I that it could be fixed with a little patching and paint. She did not volunteer to do the work, and since our realtor was having an open house in a few days, we tried to find a handyman to do the job. The cost would have been over $400.00 for time and supplies, except, the handyman was busy and could not get the work done prior to the open house. We did the work ourselves, which took most of a day. Susanne paid for the paint, and never apologize for the extra work it took for us to clean up the damage to the walls or for removal of the wardrobes. Susanne claims to discover and market all items, except those that she by her contract can throw away. When she was done with our sale, we found two drawers full of collectible items that had not ever been put out for the sale. Because we were leaving the area at the beginning of April, all of those things went into the trash. Most offensive throughout, were the repetition of her telling us what a favor she had done us to let us sleep at night in our own house and how grateful we should be that she returned our son's class ring.

    Evergreen Salon & Spa
Courtney has given me hair cuts that I am more happy with than any of the 15 or so stylists I've seen during my lifetime thus far. My hair is fine and inconsistently wavy. Elisa has provided me coloring services for over 10 years now. She can get my color right where I like it. Their prices are average for a high end salon, but not Beverly Hills high. Also different stylists at the salon have different rates, you would really have to talk to someone to determine what you will pay. The price I have noted here was for a cut and color glaze from Elisa. They are located in the revitalized area ofNorth Oak Park, off Broadway and 25th. The atmosphere is relaxing, in my opinion.

    CREDIT REMEDY, LLC
I did not use them. I purchased on Angie's list for 27.00, they called right away and I returned the call and was told I needed to request my credit report and send it to them so they could write letters to each one, instead of emailing me this information she sent it to me on my cell phone and in the Tect she said I needed to send my email address my password and my ss# which I am not comfortable doing. So I won't be using them, she seemed in a hurry and not to interested in listioning to me.

    ALTERATIONS TO GO
Two years ago I had been referred by the REI store on Exposition Boulevard, to "Alterations To Go," to have some work done on some camping equipment. At the time they did a great job and we're very accommodating. Unfortunately, as of June 9th, 2017, they're under new management and the proprietor, whose name I believe is Mai Vu, is extremely rude, short-tempered, and unprofessional, and does not want your business. At least she certainly didn't want mine! To begin with, the posted telephone number 916-920-3538 is never answered, even though it's painted right on their front window and on their business cards; they do not answer the phone = they do not want your business. Secondly, the posted hours are 10 to 6, Monday through Friday, but they do not stay open until 6 p.m. She considers that and imposition; they close early. In other words, they do not want your business. Third, when I brought them all the supplies, etc., that they needed, the tailor, Mai, kept on saying that, "You need to show up early, you need to show up early!" It was 10 minutes to 6 p.m. That's timely; they're not closed. Lastly, when I tried to explain what I needed done, then first thing out of her mouth was, "We must go home." Then, "We're going to close." Followed by, "We can't do that anymore; the old owner did it, but we don't." Folks if you want rude treatment. If you want to be overcharged. If you don't want them to be open when they're supposed to be open. If you want to try to call them, but don't expect them to pick up. If you don't want to get the service that you need. Then, by all means, continue to give this business your custom. But, if you expecting desire otherwise, I recommend not using this business. I recommend going elsewhere. This is one of those businesses that needs to be shut down. This lady is kind of like President Trump: she feels entitled, she feels privileged, she feels like she can treat others with disrespect. Let's teach her otherwise.

    Credit Glory Credit Repair
Credit glory was an absolute lifesaver! My husband and I are newlyweds and we were looking to buy our dream home, but we had a big issue that starts with a B and ends with ANKRUPTCY - namely on my credit report, due to some unfortunate circumstances that I was hit with when I was younger. On top of that, my husband had waited until we got together to even ATTEMPT getting any sort of credit in his name, so he had a LOT of hard inquiries on his account over the past 3 years. We secured Credit glory's services and had them go to work removing a bunch of bad marks from both of our credit reports and only a few short months later, our scores had improved about 75 points each, we are getting WAY better interests rates now for everything we have tried to purchase and we are so thankful! I would use this service again in a heartbeat!

    Jackson Voice Studio
Dan Jackson is a very skilled and no nonsense vocal coach in the sense that he can quickly identify problems and areas that need work and effectively targets them while teaching you his methods. The lessons are also tailored to your specific direction and goal as a singer. Every time I go in for a lesson I feel and hear the improvement in my voice under his guidance and I have been able to use what I've learned and practice on my own. He is supportive and really aims to help his students grow to their full potential.

    Barber Blues
This is a great neighborhood barber shop, within easy walking distance of my workplace. It's the kind of business that enhances the neighborhood. It has a pleasant atmosphere with a blues music theme. They do a thriving business, so I recommend making an appointment. Appointments are easy to make on the shop's website, which is convenient for those of us who come in during our workday. The barbers are experienced pros.

    Appearances
I've gone to Marian at Appearances for about 26 years - that should say a lot. Over the years she has cut and colored my hair. She is unpretentious and very competent. I have gotten compliments over the years from friend and acquaintances who then became customers of hers. The coloring is important to me - especially as I age (ha ha) - and it also is important to me that the color looks natural. As a staring point, Marian started with a sample of my own hair, and picked up highlights that already occurred naturally in my hair. The color and mix have evolved over the years, as my level of gray has evolved, and it continues to look natural and draw compliments. In addition, Marian is a very decent human being and a wonderful conversationalist - knowledgeable about the world, humanly plugged in - and has become a friend over the years, to me and, I notice, to many others whose hair she cuts.

    Your Signature Resume
The service is outstanding. I have worked for the same company for 37 years and never needed q resume, so I did not know where to start. Mary sent me a questionnaire that helped me gather the information needed, and Mark (the writer) did an outstanding job putting the information in a format that really told an excellent story of my work history. Defiantly worth the money.
