Dryer Vent Cleaning reviews in Sacramento
Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results
It was great. They did great. It was wonderful. It was a brand new dryer and nobody could figure out what the problem was and a couple of folks checked the line had given up and they came and found that a squirrel had made a nest at the end of the vent. They just charged me for coming. They didn't charge me for the whole cleaning or anything. It's a very good service and good cost. It was pretty inexpensive. It wasn't that bad. They just charged me for coming and inspection. They didn't do much, they just found the nest. They were right on time.- Mary Jane G.
Was very thurough checking the vents and the dryer itself. Lint was coming out and I was worried about Provider name locked. of fire. He checked and cleaned the vent and the area around it. Assured me all was safe and left everything nice and clean.

I was concerned about the dryer vent as I had recently moved in to my 40-year old condo and I did not know when the vent had last been cleaned, if ever. And I did not know where the vent exited the building (it actually exited from the roof of the 2-story condo).
I had picked up the brochure for this company and other companies at a local Home & Garden Expo. After several phone calls to the various companies, I chose Aardvark based on their quoted price, their Angie's discount, and reviews.
The technician showed up on time and immediately surveyed the layout and went to work setting up a ladder and laying out the tools. The technician first moved the dryer. Then he went on the roof and used some sort of scrubber brush to loosen any built up lint. He then vacuumed the vent from below. Then he attached a blower to blow out any lint that remained. And finally, he swept off the roof to clean up anything that had been blown out the vent pipe.
Afterwards the technician advised me of the conditions that he had encountered (which was not bad), and suggested an appropriate "follow-up" date to re-clean the vent.
