    EDDIE MULLINS LANDSCAPING
Back in September we had Eddie , Mario (Eddies right hand guy) and his crew reinvent our weed strewn back yard. Eddie suggested replacing back patio and extending it out with walkways connecting to a new shed and side of house which turned out great. They put in sod, planted plants, put in sprinklers and drip lines, all which transformed our back weed patch into staycation land. Needless to say we were extremely happy with the results. They also removed and replaced our cracked (destroyed) driveway with a nice clean looking driveway admired many times by passing neighbors (probably happy to see our destroyed one go). It also turned out fantastic. We were so happy with Eddie Mullins Landscaping that we had them return this week and put in a drought tolerant landscape in our front yard. We had a patch of artificial turf put in the center of our small front yard. Eddie suggested the other plants and rock to put in since we had no ideas of our own with Mario suggesting some Japanese maple trees to go along with the plants (thanks Mario great idea). We were amazed by the finished product. Several people have stopped and commented how nice our yard looks now. Eddie, Mario and his brother Michael did a stupendous job on our front yard. Needless to say my wife and I were extremely happy with the job. So if youre looking for a great landscaping company and have patience check out Eddie Mullins Landscaping. Eddie will get er done!!

    LAVISH GARDENS LANDSCAPE
Lavish Gardens Landscape did a fantastic job. They were always prompt in their communications, and showing up to the job on time. Dan was great to work with and was extremely accommodating. With Lavish Gardens you are getting the highest quality of work so it's not the cheapest..but you get what you pay for! I'd rather pay a little more to have the A+++ professionalism I got with them! I definitely recommend them!

    David Morris Concrete Construction
The crew and boss arrived exactly on time the first morning. The drive way was torn out quickly, though a jackhammer died, tripped out electrical breaker. So they proceeded to break it up by hand. It was loaded onto trucks and hauled away. The men worked very well together, as a real team effort. They put the forms in and they were gone for the day. We were the first delivery for cement truck the next morning so men and crew were here right on time at 6:30 a.m. Concrete truck arrived about 6:45 a.m. They again worked like a well oiled team. Cement smoothed, then when dried to just right, they put a stamp on part and brushed the edges. Looks simple, yet terrific. And the walkway is now big enough to walk in with bags on each arm.

    DLD Concrete
Robert Scott was extremely difficult to communicate with, often allowing DAYS to go by before responding. He kept promising how great the quality of his work us, but after a MONTH of back and forth texts, and many unanswered questions from me, he finally refused to do the job without more than 30% upfront. Do NOT bother considering this man. Waste of time.

    Total Landscape Concepts
Tony responded the day I called and attempted to determine where it was. He was out with his crew in a couple of days and It was located under a section of my front walk so concrete had to be broken up and replaced. This was all done in two days and I'm quite satisfied with the work which was done.

    Otto Concrete
Otto was punctual, on time and professional. The patio itself came out wonderful. It was what we wanted, and we were thrilled. We had him come out 04/2017. It was done in a timely manner, and orderly. However, now 4/2018 after one year, it looks as if the seal is coming off. It is now dull, and fading. I reached out to Otto to see if we could get this re-sealed, due to the issue we are having with the concrete. I was under the impression that a concrete seal should last anywhere from 3 to 5 years. He suggested that I re-seal it myself, and then no further response from him. This company does not stand behind its work, and from the seal on my patio, also uses cheap products as well. I would not recommend.

    3D Benchmark Builders
I will never recommend this contractor to anyone. They and their sub contractors are incredibly sloppy and they dont own up to their mistakes. Also, they tried on several occasions to say the project was complete when it wasnt. We hired Jason Robnetts company last year to rebuild our garage and fence after it was destroyed in a storm. Initial communications were great. They were clean cut and encouraging about getting the garage we wanted. However, once they began building, all the professionalism and communication halted. The subcontractor that was sent to demo the garage dug up our landscaped yard with a backhoe and accidentally pulled up our drainage system (I included a picture of the trench). When we told Jason what happened, he said the demo team denied it. So we sent pictures of the broken drain pipes. They responded by saying the pipes had roots growing threw them and that they didnt work to begin with. I can assure you they worked well enough to keep our yard from flooding. So the demo team installed a new drainage system and flung clods of dirt everywhere. A couple days after they finished, my husband and I cleaned up after them and tested it. We found that it didnt work. We told Jason and he refuses to fix it. So now my husband has to dig up and lower part of it so the water drains to the street instead of puddling in the middle of the yard. And after this last rain storm, it is apparent that the new drain isnt working. There was no communication about the comings and goings of subcontractors and what part of the garage was being worked on next. So when Judy, the budget person, said everything was done, we were shocked. Several items on the scope of work were not addressed and parts of the garage were left unfinished. For example, they didnt finish the fences and didnt yet build the new gate, they forgot to apply the last coat of stucco, there were sharp nails protruding from the foundation all around the perimeter of the garage, they promised a layer of gravel and eventually refused to lay it, they forgot to install down spouts, and they left the garage trim a mess with stucco. And when we asked to do a final walk through to show Jason the deficiencies, he said they didnt do that. He also tried to justify why these things werent done and why his company shouldnt have to complete them. So we sent him pictures and references to the scope of work. I've included in this review pictures of the state the garage and fences were in when 3D Benchmark deemed the project complete. By this point, all trust had been lost, so I put together a to do list of all the items they still had to do before the project was complete. This is not something the customer should have to do. They sent Mike out to finish the items on the list. He finished everything and I will say he was very pleasant. Thank you Mike. We paid them the rest of their money and we are glad to be done with them. On a positive note, they gave us a baby shower gift.

    JWA LANDSCAPE & CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION
Scheduled an appt with John two weeks ago. Attempted to communicate project details at time the appt was scheduled, but he was in a hurry. Appt window was 11am-1pm. Since I hadn't heard from him by noon, I called to get an ETA. Response: "oh, was just about to call you to tell you I was running late." We discuss pushing it back 1-2 hours, but he's reluctant since it interferes with other appts (apparently more important). Then adds that the drive time (20-30 min) is just a killer, and he's swamped. Next he ask me about the project details. Once shared, he proceeds with canned response of 'that's smaller than my typical job, and I don't think I'm going to be the right fit." That would have been an acceptable response on the first phone call, but since I went to the effort of scheduling an appt, and coming home early from work to meet a no-show contractor who then cancelled the appt over the phone, necessary to share my opinion with other prospective customers: JWA is a typical flaky contractor, don't waste your time.

    Otto Concrete
They showed up on time for every appointment and were on time the day of the job. They talked us through what we wanted and offered a few minor changes that enhanced the project. They were prepared with all tools and supplies and got the job done in a single day with a single truck and three workers. They also gave us good advice on maintenance and cleaned up very well after. The final build is exactly what we described and wanted and the slopes all flow in the right direction and degree.
