Tire Buying And Repair reviews in Sacramento

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • I've used them for tires, shocks and front end work. I don't think give a lot of people A on price because I'm very careful not to pay too much. They might be very competitive. I've used them for many years and will continue to use them.

  • One time I had replaced tires on my sons car. They have road hazard warranty. Something happened to one of his tires and they ended up replacing all 4 because it was an all wheel drive vehicle. From my experience, you never have to fight with Costco.

  • I then returned last week to get my tires rotated for free, and they broke my rim, the tires made an even worse rubbing sound and my steering wheel was shaking. I went elsewhere to get it checked out and I was told the tires were the wrong size and rubbing on the struts. I then called back to America's tire store and they said they could only refund the money for the labor and not the tires which were the complete wrong size. I had to go in there in person because he would not give me my money back and I feel I was being taken advantage of. I finally got all of my money back, and would never visit this provider again. Very bad experience and when they first rotated my tires they mentioned to me that they would never touch my car again because it was difficult and there was a gap making the job hard, which was only because the tires were the wrong size and they still put them on which is very dangerous! I would not recommend this provider to anyone.

  • This was not my first time visiting them, and I wish I had returned to them in the first place but the other company was just convenient at the time. This company was very honest and thorough with the situation. I am very big on customer service and this location was very welcoming and warming. They are professional and solved my problem completely. I purchased 4 new tires with them and they rotated them for free. I will definitely hire them again in the future and recommend to others.

  • The advisor was very courteous and friendly when I arrived. It was very busy and he was juggling 2 phone calls and taking care of me at the same time. He would take a phone call while I was considering and evaluating the information that he just told me. This was nice as I did not have to make a decision immediately. After deciding on the tires and making the purchase, they took my car in and installed the tires. My car drives like new again!

  • I finally got my first flat tire in Sacramento, and I chose Advanced Tire because of their positive online reviews and the flexibility of their business hours. While my tire wasn't replaced right away, I was able to walk to the nearby shopping center and use the time there until they had replaced my tire. The service was friendly, and I'd return if I had more tire issues.

  • On a trip from Sacramento to SLO, I blew a tire on the freeway in the middle of a rain storm. After AAA threw on my spare, I limped to The Tire Store without an appointment. They were able to get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time at very reasonable prices.

  • I have pricey tires and this was the second one that needed replacement due to road hazards. Initially, I had turned down the insurance on the set I purchased from them, but then my new tire had an accident shortly thereafter. When I took it in they allowed me to purchase the insurance I'd turned down. Again, I injured another tire and it was covered although you need to then purchase insurance on the new tire. I've been coming here for years and I don't have any complaints.

  • I thought the brakes had been replaced at some point but could not find my paperwork. The counterperson checked the system and could not find anything. There had been a system change at some point so he told me he would call and have corporate do a further search of the older system. I authorized the work to be done and left while the work was being completed. Received a call that my vehicle was completed and ready for pick up.
At the counter waiting to be checked out, the counter person seemed to be taking longer to check me out and this got me a little concerned, thinking more was wrong than originally estimated. While waiting to pay he said the screen will come up and sign. I was puzzled and said don't I need to slide my card first? I was told and quot;Noand quot;, we found your paperwork and the brakes were under don't owe anything!!! Made my day and month!!! Signed my name and was on my way...
Thank you for the great service and most welcomed surprise at pick up!!

  • I stopped by because I had a slow leak in one of my tires.  I parked at the air station and went into the office to have someone come out and check my tire pressure.  The young man that came out looked at the pressure reading on the door of my vehicle and promptly filled my tires to the factory specs for the tires that came with my vehicle.  I stated that I thought the pressure was high (45psi).  I asked what is needed to have my tire checked for a slow leak.  Was told to show up first thing one morning and it shouldn't take more than 15min to have the fix done.  I went into the office and confirmed what I was told with a service agent.
The next day I came in when they opened and asked to have my tire reviewed for a slow leak.  45min later I went in to find out why it was taking so long and my vehicle was on a lift and all 4 tires were off.  I was told that since I came in they were going to rotate my tires and do the free alignment.  That would have been great if I had the time.
Here is the fun part.  A couple of days later I got a flat.  My vehicle had been riding rough since they fixed the slow leak.  The best part is that the flat happened in one of my good tires, not the one with the slow leak that was fixed.
When I had my vehicle towed to a tire shop that was open the first thing the mechanic stated was "Your lug nuts are rounded off.  Who stripped them?"  I said Big O on Folsom.
Then after the new tires were on and I was paying I was told that my other tires were way over inflated and that they reduced the pressure to match the manufacture pressure (35psi).
So if you want to have to replace all of your lug nuts and buy tires then go to Big O on Folsom Blvd in East Sacramento.
I did leave a msg on the answering machine for the Big O location and did receive a call back and got an ear full of excuses.  Even after stating that my experience should be used as a training opportunity to improve service and no one else have my experience.
