  • I would rate the entire experience as an 'F' across all categories. He charged me $3,200.00, twice the price of other reviews I see here and what I have heard from a neighbor he charged. Since he left my house, we have experienced 3 leaks that were not there before. I have been calling Pat Provider name locked. every couple of days for the past two months. The first call back he said he was going to be in the area and would swing by. He never showed up. He has since not called back and I am not able to get in touch with him. Reading the other reviews, I can say that the comments of shoddy work, not responding, and not making good on what they said they would do are accurate.

  • The person to whom I spoke, Provider name locked. , stated that there would be a charge for the initial visit in order to prepare an estimate, which I agreed to pay as this amount would be applied to the final bill if the work was contracted and completed. After not hearing from the company, I called Provider name locked. on 10/7. At that point, he seemed harried and disorganized and had to Provider name locked. around for the paperwork for my job, which he eventually found. After making a bunch of excuses about being busy and having trucks out of service he said they would not be able to get to my job for a couple of weeks. I replied that I had indicated a need to get the work completed by 10/15 in our initial conversation and he had stated that would be no problem as it was likely a one day job. When I indicated that I would need to find another contractor and that I would be posting a review of my experience on Angie's List, Provider name locked. said he would personally conduct the estimate, to which I agreed. At that time Provider name locked. stated he would not need access to the inside of the house or the back yard. In a follow-up call later that week, Provider name locked. said the height of the house prevented him from performing the estimate, which would require a two man team and access to the back yard, to which I again agreed. After another 10 days of radio silence from Provider name locked. , I called on 10/19 for a staus update. Provider name locked. claimed that he had sent a crew to the house 3 times and they could not access the back yard due to a locked gate. I asked why they had not called me to open the gate, and Provider name locked. claims that they did call. I asked what number they called since I had no messages from anyone at Cross Timbers. Provider name locked. said he had no idea what number they called and advised me to find another contractor to perform the work.

  • The roofing job went exactly as planned.  The Provider name locked. work crew arrived on time.  The shrubbery and deck were covered.  The potted plants were moved out the way.  The old asphalt shingled roof was removed on the first day and replaced on the second day.  2 damaged 4ft x 8ft plywood roof decking boards were replaced, new sunrise cedar shingles, #15 lb. commercial grade felt paper, ice and water guards, all proper aluminum flashings painted to match and 2 Velux FCM skylights (22x46).  Wrap and sealed to insure water tightness with no problems.

The clean up was continuous and even more intense at the end of each days' work and there was a owner inspection on the third day with the project supervisor.  We found nothing to complain about.  Haven't had any flat tires on my lawn tractor or cars which was evidence of a very good clean up. Seen and unseen.  And, of course, there have been no leaks.

I did shop around for a good job and price for this project.  My 1st estimate was with Paramount Builders who wanted 4 times as much for the same job and we did negotiate down to 3 times what I paid since I was a previous customer of theirs.  I used Paramount Builders some years ago to put siding up.  They did a beautiful job but I found out later that I paid way way to much for the job.

I got an estimate from Lowe's also who wanted 2 times as much as I paid.  Both these companies wanted to cut a ridge line in my roof to warrant the shingles for life but I haven't had a problem without  the ridge line in my old roof which was 26 years old.  I got a new roof because it was time to do so, not because it was leaking or because of a vent problem. My thinking is that a ridge line would give more ventilation but would probably cause other vent problems in my home. A ridge line may cause the air conditioner and heating units to work harder and I may have to get more insulation.  Just my thought.  So Provider name locked. replaced it, at my request, without the ridge line and still warranted the roof for life.

The bottom line is that I am very satisfied with the job that Provider name locked. . did and my house is still breathing the same as it was since it was built without any leaks in the roof. A very good job.  I recommend this company for your roofing problems as I Provider name locked. you in peace.
