    Matt Tucciarone Ceramic Tile
Matt was very professional all around; he responded quickly and answered any and all questions I had, he was pleasant to work with and fair with pricing. Matt did a great job and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He truly takes the time to understand expectations, provide professional expertise and deliver a superior end product.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am at a loss to describe how our planned renovation with this company fell apart. We consulted with Chesapeake Bay because of stellar reviews from others and the fact that they would fit our budget for our kitchen renovation. The early parts of the project went smoothly - met with designer for measurements, met to put down initial specs, met to review revised specs for a quote - no issue. However, the early issues we had with our designer should have warned us about the trainwreck that would derail our project: - Our designer continually forgot the design choices we made. For example, we were clear from the first meeting we wanted 39 inch cabinets with crown molding; we were continually presented with designs showing a 42 inch cabinet to the ceiling. Though fixed, this was a sign of the issues to come. - During our third meeting with the designer (on a Wednesday), the designer indicated we should receive a quote/estimate by the following Monday without a problem. Monday comes and goes, no quote. Emails are left unanswered. We did not get a quote until Friday. - The designer continually gave vague or incomplete answers. He was unclear about what work the quoted price did or did not include despite me asking a very direct and pointed question. We never got an official proposal, just figures in email. - We were very clear with the designer that we wanted laminate countertops, and even provided him with color and finish choices during our last meeting. Despite this, we were provided a quote for GRANITE. When we reminded the designer that we wanted laminate, the response was, and I quote, "Have you picked a color and texture yet?" - despite having these choices IN WRITING on the specs we discussed at our final meeting. Needless to say, I was frustrated and reached out to the firm's general manager asking to be assigned to a new designer. When we spoke, I was continually interrupted by the person I spoke to and was told I could get a new designer, but I would (essentially) have to restart at square one. Needless to say, we did not use this company for our renovation. We switched to a local competitor who produces custom cabinets - and who was able to provide me a written quote which clearly articulated what was included in the cost within two hours of reaching out to the owner. This compares to the 1.5 months I spent working with Chesapeake Bay. I would in no way, shape, or form recommend this company, not even to my worst enemy.

All in One Home Team LLC
I initially contacted "All In One Home Team, LLC, to review and give me an estimate on replacing the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. The originally work had been poorly done. Ruben examined the area, offered suggestions as to what materials he thought would provide the best outcome. He and his partner completed the bathroom in one day. Because of the excellent job on the bathroom; I then contracted them to give my dining and family rooms a more up-to-date look. The laminated wood tile they suggested was an excellent choice. If you desire excellence, quality workmanship, and professionalism then "All In One Home Team" should be your choice. Economically friendly.

    Riddell Home Improvements
Carlos arrived to review my proposals for a bathroom remodel, porch refurbishment, gutter system installation, and potential construction of a garage. During the walk-through, he did not take notes, did not ask questions, and seemed generally disinterested. Not engaged in any kind of discussion about my needs, and very short answers given. After agreeing to write up a general proposal with estimates and possibly come back for some measurements, he sent me a text message about 10 minutes later that simply said "Sorry, I'm gonna pass"... no reason given. And that's pretty much it. I did not find this to be a professional interaction and, given that I'm preparing to spend a LARGE sum of money completing these projects, I think I'll be better off hiring somebody who at least asks questions and seems interested in me as a customer.

    All-N-1 Services Inc
Worst Experience Ever.I contracted with the company to do a complete remodel of my master bathroom and powder room. In the master bathroom, they were to remove the tub, install a tiled shower in its place, tile floor, new vanity, vent fan, install fixtures, plumbing etc. I supplied all materials for the job. I have never been involved in such a remodeling disaster before and this is not my first major remodeling. I did due diligence, searched Angie's List (2018 superstar?) and got a reference for a similar job. I signed the contract and things went downhill from there. Slated to start 5/6/2019, picked out vanity and made arrangements to visit counter top fabricator for selection in March. All material selected and ordered timely although questions regarding quantity of tile and other items had to be made repeatedly before a response was received. I spent time coordinating everything to the cabinets when they showed up with the wrong cabinet. Turns out the cabinets I had ordered (two different finishes) were no longer available and I would have to select another color. Delay. And these vanities do not have as durable a finish on them. They pulled the old bathtub out and; it sat like a rusting hulk in my driveway for 3 weeks preventing us from parking in the driveway. We asked about it and were told that a pick up would be scheduled. The only thing that happened was after 3 weeks, my husband and I broke up the cast iron tub into pieces small enough to put in the dumpster. At least I could park close enough to get the groceries in the house. The shower pan they ordered was the wrong size. I lost some space there as they tore out the wall board and built out the space to match the shower pan they ordered. They grossly over-estimated how much tile was necessary and delayed work for so long I missed the ability to return any of it. I had enough floor tile left to re-tile another room. The workers only come sporadically - the estimated completion was 6/10/19. Completion did not occur until August 13. The shower leaked, it took them two weeks to fix. The grout in the shower floor did not set properly, over two weeks to come back. I got an email saying go ahead and use the shower it won't hurt anything. Except every time you ran water in the shower bits of grout floated down the drain. They tried to fix by putting caulk in the lines (the shower floor had 3 different grout colors) but I found that unacceptable. They were scheduled to come on August 8, but did not show until the following week. Never received communication, in fact they were frequently scheduled to show but didn't....again no one thinks to notify the homeowner. At various times, I completed their incomplete work just to get it done. Painting not completed (door trim, linen closet shelves), they assembled the cabinets in my dining room floor with glue, hammer, nails and no drop cloth on my antique oriental rug. My son and I spent a year renovating his house and use multiple contractors from Angie's list to complete the work. I've left a number of stellar reviews for those vendors as their work and professionalism were high. This contractor, however, despite their rating was a disaster.

    ReFresh Cabinets LLC
These folks have their act together. Everthing went smoothly and according to plan. Big advantage over competitors -- they actualy sand the cabinets well before refinishing! All workers were professional and courteous. Clean up after work was exceptional. Working with the manager and estimator went very well. We are very pleased with the result and the price. Our kitchen looks fabulous!

Poor customer service from James. When I called back to set up a time for an estimate he ignored me when I said there would only be one of use present. In the past we have had our time wasted by useless and lengthy sales presentations that did not address our needs and went over time. We decided only the decision maker, (me) would need to give up our free time for the estimate. James continued to ignore me and requested we both be present at an inconvenient time. AAPCO demonstrates failure to provide customer service. HIgh pressure marketing tactic is unwelcome.

    L & M Carpet One Floor & Home
This is my third project with L & M and over the years their customer service and high quality of work have always exceeded my expectations. From the first moment walking in their door I feel their attention to detail is outstanding. The best thing ever is they listen to me! They are so experienced they understand the difficulties of my old construction and do everything to maintain the integrity of my home. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality job.

    Coastal Contracting of VA
Lets start with, we will NEVER use this company again. I dont know who is writing all the 5-star reviews, but they must be working with a different Coastal Contracting. I am hesitant to even write this review while my project is still incomplete as I fear it may delay this project even further. At this point, we dont see how it can get any worse. We are nearing the end of the 9th week of a proposed 4-week kitchen remodel. I only write this as a near-last resort, as regular calls, emails and texts go ignored or disregarded. Initially, we were told that delays were due to an unexpected need to replace our kitchen floors (included in the contract as a possibility). Further delay was blamed on the custom cabinets, two; one for a range hood, the other a small bookshelf (also included in the contract). In reality, the delay is because Coastal cant seem to keep up with the work they commit to, or, they cant project manage their way out of a wet paper bag. On average, we get about 2 days of work out of Coastal a week. The rest of the time our house lies dust covered with plastic sheeting, literally blowing in the wind and us with no information on whats next. Since sending an email to the owner, project manager and sales manager with concerns about the length of time this project is taking (along with our 3rd $5,000 installment), we have had the same painter at our house every day for 3 weeks. The painter appears to be using our house as his remote office to quote/bid on more work that Coastal cant complete while NOT painting our house. But hey, at least there is someone at the house every day. The painters work has been fine, when he has time to do work. He even stays late and works some weekends to finish as much as he can. However, nothing else has occurred over those three weeks with the exception of countertops being installed by a non-Coastal company. The communication and expectation setting have been the worst part of this experience. We have been told on multiple occasions that the project is on track despite evidence to the contrary. At the end of April, week 5, we were told that the project would be done by the end of the month (May). We were told again last Thursday, May 23rd, by a project manager who hasnt been to the house for almost two weeks, that they would be finished by the end of the month (still May). Today is May 29th and painting the isnt finished, cabinets are still laying on the ground, a wall is still missing drywall, theres electrical work to be done, trim to be installed, a storm door that has vanished into the ether, floors to be finished, appliances to be re-installed and of course final touch-ups on whatever work has been performed over the last 9 weeks. Based on the pace we have seen from Coastal so far, were still 2-3 weeks from finishing. At this point I dont know what we can do. The employees at Coastal dont appear concerned that we were promised a new kitchen in 4 weeks but are still without one after nearly 10. There certainly isnt any sense of urgency on their part. We pay our installments; they continue to not show up. Seems like a good deal for them, us. . .not so much. I fear we are stuck with Coastal until the project is done. We just hope we can keep other people from going through the same trouble.

    Daniel & Sons Services
Daniel and his crew where very punctual and finished the remodeling earlier then estimated. The price was perfect. They cleaned up everything like new and they were very helpful and they were interested in my opinions.
