  • It came quick, had great instructions and was super easy to install. I contacted them about a problem with one door where the sensor wouldn't fit. They asked me to send pictures and then sent me a differs sensor that fit along with a self addresses post page envelope to return the old one. Very satisfied with their service.

  • After my free estimate and being allowed to tweak the system, I emailed him back my first tweak of the system and received no response. Days later, I called his office and left a message for him to call me back, as I wanted to finalize the asap. He called me back that day and said he received my email and will try to get back to me but has a lot of other work to do, will be going on vacation soon and is the only one who can give me the quote for the kind of system I want. Also, its important to mention my tweak was specific cameras from the manufacturer that I wanted, but Provider name locked. said the information I found on their website may not be accurate and he will have to validate that information. It has been over a month and I haven't heard from Provider name locked. . Needless to stay, I have moved on to other providers since my business seems to not be wanted.

  • It is easy to install and set up.
    But when something in the system fails, you will have to experience self-diagnosis with the help of the tech service reps, over the phone.  
    This will involve some tool usage and a lot of patience.  You get the feeling that the QA on some of their parts has been slack and they;ve had a lot of experience replacing components.  
    Then sometimes when you call for tech support "my alarm is going off and it won't shut up' or 'my alarm won't arm properly' you are put on terminal hold, and then told to put in your number and you will get a call back, but YOU don't.  
    So we had to leave our property, which is a second home, and leave the alarm squawking it's issues with arming  'keychain malfunction' and it will squawk and disturb the neighbors until we get back down there, because they have no service techs with boots on the ground, and they will tell you that you need to be in front of the box to run troubleshooting.  Because, it's self service.
    So there's that.
     Overall, I really like the Alarm.com interface and the ability to manage the system from afar, except when you CAN"T.
