    Mr. Appliance of Richmond
Repairman did not look at the back of the fridge. Said the frayed gasket caused the problem and it was old and not replaceable and I needed to buy a new fridge. I paid him$99. Then I called another company who replaced the faulty defrost thermostat and now my old fridge works fine. Save $99. Dont call Mr. Appliance.

    Discount Contractors
I have American Home Shield. My contract with them state, they will fix it and if they can not fix, it will be replace. Discount want me to paid them directly $225 and sign a false statement. Saying the line was broken, but it wasn't. I asked American to not send them again and they did.

    Stanley's Appliance Service
I contacted Stanley's and received a call back the same morning. They were able to schedule me the same day and Ken arrived within the time specified. He was able to replace the part within an hour despite the awkward location of my washer. He was friendly, professional, and made sure the problem was resolved before leaving. I was extremely pleased with the service and would definitely hire again.

    Mr. Appliance of Richmond
Very well. Punctual, good analysis of the problem, and immediate repair since Bill Everette, the repairman, had the part to our 1989 GE Potscrubber dishwasher on his truck. He was careful, methodical and pleasant to deal with. We'll ask for him in the future.

Little Appliance is incredibly efficient, friendly, and above all, supportive. We needed to replace our microwave and electric oven. Yet we have a gas cooktop an old one with a gas line and regulator that needed to be moved. The old gas line blocked where the new oven should be. Even though it took appointments from a few plumbers and inspectors, and then, a few friendly, helpful visits from Little Appliance, they installed it! The oven and microwave look great and work faultlessly. We thank Matt, Mark, and the crew at Little Appliance.

    True Appliance Solutions
Scott and his assistant were great. They arrived on-time, quickly fixed the issue, and were professional in every way. This is one of the few companies that services Samsung equipment and the only one that actually has good reviews.

    Appliance Doctor Inc.
My wonderful 20 yr old Kenmore Series 90 top-load stopped at the drain cycle, got stuck, and did not drain. After using the laundromat for a few weeks, I called Appliance Doctor. As many of the previous reviews note, they arrived quickly, less than an hour after my call. Had the part in the truck. Repair required removing the entire exterior housing and tub, and kind of climbing inside to get to it. They finished by leveling the machine. It took about 15-20 min to replace, and they were on their way. Service call was $79, and $150 total, including part. Thanks, Appliance Doctor!

    Appliance Doctor Inc.
Very nice experience with Appliance Doctor. Danny arrived on time & took about 5 minutes to determine what was wrong with our over 10 yr. old refrigerator. The thermostat was bad. He checked his truck & saw he didn't have one but he ordered one over his phone right then. He told me it would be be in the next day but they would have to get someone to install it. He called me back in the afternoon & said he found one & would come over right then & install it. It took about 10-15 minutes to install. He charged us a reasonable price for it as well. I will definitely be calling them about any other appliances that I may need servicing.

    Dale Dillon Repair Service
We hired Dale Dillon to repair a dishwasher that was not draining. He gave us a quote and took the money upfront. His written estimate clearly states that the issue is not draining. 2 weeks later, he replaced a part that did not solve the issue and we let him know the same day that the dishwasher was still not draining. Dillon came back to the house a week later, tinkered with the machine, and said that it "should" work now but he can replace the pump if necessary. The dishwasher still did the exact same thing it did before the repair. At that point, Dillon switched gears and started blaming us. He claimed that he found a bread wrapper in the drain and the pump needs to be replaced, and he'd charge us for that. (He never brought up the bread wrapper while at our house). He said that he'd come to replace the pump "next week." After a week went by, I calling him asking when he'd come. He said the part just arrived and he would come the next day. After he did not come or call the following day, I called him telling him that we'll accept a refund. Dale became irate, yelling at me that we broke the dishwasher and that he found broken glass and trash in it. Dale also claimed that it worked after he replaced the part and that we owed him money for the follow up visit since it was a new problem according to him. He hung up on me. It wasnt a new problem though -- it was the exact same problem we initially contacted Dale for that he failed to repair. The dishwasher hadnt run for a single cycle since Dale first touched it. Immediately after Dale hung up on me, his "office manager" called, telling me they'd be coming by to pick up a check for $89 (the "service call" fee). I explained to her that we're not paying it, since we already paid him upfront for the problem which he hadn't fixed, and we wouldn't pay for more visits. She too claimed our machine worked for "like 3 weeks," and then threatened to take me to court. She told me to "get ready to write a $500 check" and hung up. We paid them $374 and they did not perform the promised repair and instead threatened to sue us.
