  • It seems to have gone well. The exams were thorough. The office is nice. Everyone took they're time with us and seems to recognize us when we have come back in, though we have only been there a couple of times.

  • My previous optometrist was unable to acceptably correct my vision for the past several years.  Dr Peters with MyEyeDr at Wakefield got it right in one quick visit.  Office is busy but well staffed and efficient, wait times are negligible.  I highly recommend Dr Peters and his staff.

  • Oh surprise. My lenses had not yet been ordered, and it was over a week.
    When I finally got the new. it was difficult due to the strength being swapped. I did get remeasured, returned one lens for a new one. But. My brain couldn't adjust. I tried for 6 months and finally went back to an old pair of lenses.
    Fast forward to this year. I saw Dr. Laura Riley who is a part-timer taking up the slack since Dr. Chin is only part time.
    I like Dr. Riley. She is very thorough, she is personable, she took her time looking at my eyes. I felt like she really cares.
    The assistants and office staff are friendly and helpful.
    My most recent appointment was on May 20 of 2015. I had to wait 2 weeks to come back for a fitting for bi-focal contacts; June 8, because for some reason, this office does not have a bi-focal contact measuring kit. ( ? ) 
    On June 18, having not heard back from the office, I called to ask if my lenses were in.
    They had not been ordered. THIS IS THE 2nd time this has happened to me at this office.
    The assistant said she would talk to Dr. Riley on Friday (the 19th), get the lenses ordered and give me a call.
    It is Monday the 22nd and I have still not heard back.
    * The people are nice but I don't recommend Dr. Chin. I have not seen Dr. Hayes
    * The system is broken. They need to follow up and actually ORDER THE LENSES.
    * My confidence in this office is zilch. These are MY EYES. (I'm 65 years old)
      I only have ONE set of eyes. I should not have to BEG for so-called professionals to deign to follow through and ORDER
    contact's the reason I CAME IN.
    * it makes one wonder, if such an OBVIOUS part of the procedure is overlooked--what other things might be slipping through?
    I did not have any problems with billing; they are very good about collecting. The front desk staff is excellent.
    I think I have been more than fair and given this place plenty of chances. I'm done.
    Perhaps Dr. Hayes can fix the glitches in his system. I just won't be around to find out.

  • Raleigh Eye Center have both an area there for examination of the eye, they also have the optical dispensary there as well. They have an optician there. They have a full service range of doctors as far as examinations and glasses and so forth. My husband has problems with his vision and because of that his vision will sometimes change more often than just once a year. The last visit went fine with them. Their professionalism is the thing that stands out the most. The laboratory that they send a prescription to, they create accuracy in their prescriptions. They are right on target and are very careful. They stand behind their service. They are going to receive quality and quality eyeglasses if they choose Raleigh Eye Center.

  • Excellent experience.  Took time during exam to make sure I chose the right options.  New prescription was perfect.  Met with glasses customer service rep who was very nice and helpful.  Glasses were ready when promised and are great.  Would recommend this office to others.  Prices on frames are a little high and not many lower end selections.

  • Everyone at For your eyes only was very professional, helpful and friendly. They understood price considerations, did not try to push any particular frames and were very patient in helping me decide on a frame that was flattering as well as comfortable and durable. In fact I went there twice. Once to get frames for regular glasses and then for prescription sunglasses. The selection of frames was very wide and will go there next time I need frames.

  • I like Dr. Stolfo's personality- she's very upbeat but not fake.  She is clear with her explanations during exams and they seem to go quickly and pleasantly.  I enjoy her staff.  I've just stopped by a couple of times because the office is close to my office.  I've gone in to get my glasses adjusted and the manager has always helped me out and even cleans my glasses for me when I go in.  I've purchased contacts there but switched back to glasses.  I've also purchased prescription sunglasses there.  I will continue seeing Dr. Stolfo and recommend her.  Her office submits to my insurance directly, so I don't have to handle any paperwork.

  • I had broken the glasses I was wearing and got an appointment right away.  I did not feel that my prior eyeglass prescription was right and I wanted to be sure that I would see well with what I was purchasing.  Dr. Stolfo was very thorough with my exam and I am very pleased with the glasses I purchased from her optical dispensary.  Before making my purchase I was assured that if the eyeglasses with the new prescription were not working that they would redo until it was right.  Fortunately, due to Dr. Stolfo and her staff's diligence the glasses were right the first time round.  Thanks Dr. Stolfo.

  • The sunglasses were made incorrectly. Plastic lenses were
    ordered, but polycarbonate was put in. On the first trip back (because one side
    was darker than the other)they again tried to put more dye on them. When they
    brought them to me I pointed out that there was a spot where there was no
    color. I was told, "That is just a speck, there are silver flakes all over
    the place back there". When the woman tried to clean them, more coating
    peeled off. At that point they realized the wrong lens type was used (polycarbonate lens cannot be darkened), and I was
    told they would remake them. After 3 additional trips, each time being told
    "He will do them first thing tomorrow" and, then I would arrive to
    find they had not been done, I was promised they would be done early Sunday
    afternoon and would get a call when they were done. I finally called them at
    5:45pm and was told they had not been done, but the lab manager would do them first thing
    Monday morning and they would be ready by noon. When I called that
    morning, I was told the lab manager was not even on the schedule that day. I have been
    put off, lied to, had my concerns dismissed, and today was not allowed to speak
    to a manager on the phone. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged $734.96 a week
    ago, and I still do not have correct sunglasses. Additionally, the finish is already
    popping off of the regular glasses on one side. I went to the store today and
    returned both pairs of glasses. I have been a loyal customer of Lenscrafters
    for many years, and have bought all of my and my children's glasses there. I
    will never again give any of my very hard earned money to Lenscrafters.
     There was no hesitation in their accepting my money,
    but I was put off at every turn when I did not receive what I had paid for. They
    have lost my business and my recommendation for good. No one in the lab
    apologized. The only apologies offered were by associates who had nothing to do
    with the incompetence. That store needs some SERIOUS retraining and customer
    service improvements. Do NOT go there. I went to Costco and got 2 very nice pairs of glasses for $350.00 less than what I had paid at LensCrafters.

  • Village Optique is a delightful, boutique eyewear shop that specializes in high-end and/or hard-to-find lines, but suits most budgets.  The shop is stylish and the frame selection is great, but the customer service is amazing and highly tailored to the individual's needs.  I went for myself and my mother, who ended up buying a new pair of glasses, sunglasses and extra lenses, as well.  Both the owner and stylist, Marla, and the optician, April, went out of their way to pick out frames that would look good on us.  High marks for individualized service and selection!
