Healing Hands Massage Therapy and Bodywork, LLC
I've been seeing Tim for a few years. At the time I started I had many issues with SI joint and low back pain. NMR helps the right muscles get stronger and releases the problem areas. Prices are standard for massages in the Raleigh area ($95 for 90 minutes). I would definitely recommend.

I absolutely love Dr. Ankur and the staff at Living Well Balanced!! Dr. Ankur took the time to do an in-depth evaluation of not just my body alone, but also my lifestyle and health as a whole. My adjustments have easily become the highlight of my week. I know that when I walk in to Living Well Balanced, Ill feel better, Ill be loved on, and Ill relax while Im there. The amazing view and atmosphere at the office are just a huge plus! I HIGHLY recommend the chiropractic, massage & stretching at Living Well Balanced to friends, family & anyone looking for quality holistic health care. Dr. Ankur is the best of the best!!

I will NEVER go here again! I've had numerous massages over the past few years at different places and I have NEVER had such a "cruel" experience. She asked what areas I wanted worked on and I said my legs and lower back. And that I want light pressure. The massage starts off with blasting a fan facing her and I. I get cold quick but because I was pretty warm from the heat outside I was okay with it. But it seemed it didn't matter what I would have wanted as she stated as she turned it on because "I can't work in heat so I need a fan." She begins working on my legs and it HURT so bad at first, I jumped. She asked if it was too much pressure and I said yes it was. I know my body is quite tense at times and I have SOME "knots" so I let her work them out. AS the massage goes on she asked again about the pressure. I told her it's too much. And then another time I informed her again it was too much. She worked on the left side of my back (hurt). Got to my right (which on my sheet I wrote and told her about shoulder blade damage I'm now going to physical therapy for) she worked and worked on it. And I told her it was a lot of pressure. But she assured me she was just "having trouble getting a knot out". It got to the point that I was profusely sweating from nervousness/pain. Good thing she had a fan blasting on us! I stopped saying to use less pressure because after she was done on an area it felt okay. So when she asked, I said yes it's fine. I get home, and I have dents under my knee caps. Turns out it's from damage to cartilage! My feet are throbbing in pain. My shoulder blade feels "different", I can't tell if it's a good different or bad. Guess I'll let my physical therapist determine that this week! (My PT informed me further damage had been done!) I went here because my sister got me a gift card to use to de-stress after having my baby. I gave birth naturally and I could do that all day, everyday. But this massagedon't make me go there ever again. You couldn't pay me to. THAT massage. THAT HURT!!!

Anthony was a so nice when he talked to me before the massage. He truly listened to what was hurting and tense and explained what would be best during the session to help me feel better. The treatment room was very clean and comforting and I felt at ease. Anthony really helped my back and worked the tension out. It not only was therapeutic but also relaxing. At the end of th session Anthony discussed what I should be doing to help with my back in between sessions and told me how frequent I should be coming in. I can't wait for my next massage!

Tim is one of the best I've ever had work on me. Not only does he do excellent massage/body work but he also educates me in anatomy and body mechanics so I can help heal myself [as much as I can]. He is excellent at taking my description of aches and pains and developing a technique to resolve them. He has also worked on my husband who has run MANY marathons so does sports-related work as well. Oh, and his price is VERY reasonable. TRY HIM!!!

    Schmitt, Dr. John R.
Dr. Schmidt is more than a chiropractor.  He has helped several members of my family with various health issues over the years.  He uses applied kinesiology to diagnose and treat various kinds of ailments.  He also works with diet and supplements as part of his treatments.  I would highly recommend him!

Tim takes the time to ask questions, really listen, ask more questions & fully understand what's going on prior to each session.  He shows concern, humor, and has great intuition about responses- communication is open & effective for understanding issues.  I had weekly sessions for a month & a half...he always made sure I left in much better shape, with far more movement & less pain than when I arrived.  He definitely expected to see improvement and would have referred me elsewhere if I wasn't seeing results I needed from working with him.  The improvement has been awesome, I intend to back down to monthly sessions & see how things go.
Note - the studio is in his home, there are 3 friendly dogs that welcome me each week & I enjoy that.  I've not been to a home studio previously but this is comfortable and I feel like one of the family by now.  I'd recommend him for anyone with sports injuries, muscle issues, etc. - He is very experienced & professional, this was far more like physical therapy and deep tissue massage than I've ever been able to get from most massage centers.  Payment is super easy - I use my HSA debit card to pay in seconds at end of each session & receive an email receipt for my records.

I am so glad I found Donna!  She is incredible.  Excellent massage therapist.
I injured my foot and ended up with a limp which created other aches in pains in my legs, hips, calves, etc.  Donna worked her magic and my pain is substantionally less than when I first saw her back in November.  I am back to walking 3 miles a day with little to no pain.  I have decreased the amount of pain medication I am taking to almost nothing.  I was going to physical therapy before someone recommended Donna - but I think some PTs actually like to see how far they can push and I ended up worse - not better.  Donna is very gentle and careful to keep aware of pain areas.  She will notice if i flinch or stiffen up and reduce the pressure she is applying.
For my neck, I have an extruded disc and chronic pain from working on a computer all day.  She works out the kinks, gets rid of my headache and I feel fabulous.
I started out going weekly, now see her bi-weekly.  If I could afford it - i would see her daily.  :)

Tim is an excellent massage therapist and extremely professional. He is considerate to your specific needs and very knowledgeable in his field. I have used his services over the past year, given out his name to others seeking a qualified massage therapist and will continue to use his services in the future. I highly recommend him.
