    Wells Design Build, LLC
We were in a situation either to sell the house, or do a full remodel. We opted to sell the house, and it did not end up working with Mr. Wells. When exploring the master bath remodel, we found Michael Wells prompt, wry knowledgable, courteous and fair with his pricing. I truly believe we wouldve gone forward with him had we decided to go for the remodel.

    ProGreen Home
I use ProGreen to stage all of my homes and I could not be happier with their work. They always go above and beyond for me and my clients. If there are any extra, last minute details that I need immediately fixed or added, they are on it. I highly recommend this amazing company, and I appreciate their tenacity, work ethic and attention to detail.

    Complete Construction Co
We have done several projects with Glenn White and Complete Construction between 2013 and 2017. Much of their work has been redone for poor craftsmanship or failure of installation. Most notable was a wine cellar that was built without a vapor barrier and improperly insulated with open cell foam. The cellar developed mold rapidly and had to be completely deconstructed and rebuilt by another contractor. Glenn and his insurance company never took ownership of the problem and tried to blame the catastrophic failure of the cellar on an HVAC drip pan leak that was addressed within a few hours and did not cause any structural or mold issues in any other surrounding parts of the house. We later discovered that Glenn had not filed a building permit for the cellar or had any inspections. Ultimately, Glenn White and Complete Construction settled for the damages in legal mediation. To the end, Glenn maintained that he had built the cellar up to standards. To me this represents a complete lack accountability, lack of understanding of building science, or both. Either way, these are not good qualities for a contractor. I am aware of at least one other cellar that Complete Construction built that was also improperly insulated and developed mold. If you choose this company, buyer beware!

    TURNING POINT SURVEYORS BULDRS
AWFUL! These are good ol' boys who are nothing more than UNPROFESSIONAL. They didn't have enough common sense to call 811 before digging, but they don't think they are supposed to know that even though they are in the surveying business. As they were hired to perform a survey next door, they severed all of our utility lines!! They did admit fault but refused to help with solution. Jeff Davis (Professional Land Surveyor) spoke down to me and offered no solutions and no real kindness. Tried to get his team to leave the site without my knowledge and was incredibly unprofessional. He was shocked other surveying companies called 811 even though it was a free service. As a woman, I couldn't help but think I would have gotten more respect or a resolution if I was a man. We had to call the Wake County Sheriff and were advised to file a formal civil complaint because it was obvious to the sheriff were they were not only on our property at the time but that they cut the line to our utilities. NIGHTMARE SITUATION.

    Henry King Construction
If there were an A+++ rating, Henry deserves it. We first hired him to repair squirrel-gnawed cedar siding on a section of the house. He had the repair lined up and done in a matter of just a few days, to our 100% satisfaction with the work as well as the price. (We had another bid that was quite a bit higher, but the bidder didn't even measure the repair area!) We decided right then to hire Henry to remodel our kitchen, a job that we had planned for over a year. He scheduled and started the job exactly as promised, and finished about 2 weeks ahead of time. Communication was easy-- we either texted or called whenever something arose that needed a decision ( such as when the granite yard broke our slab, so we had to order new granite). The process was actually fun --- it may have helped that we were able to be away for most of the duration of the remodel! We are 100% satisfied with the work that was done, and will definitely hire Henry for any other projects we need done. I have already recommended him to several friends. There were no cost over-runs, no surprises, and we have the most beautiful kitchen I could have imagined.

    Funderburk Builders Inc
He did an excellent job and was the most honest and trustworthy contractor we have ever dealt with. Over the past 35 years is this old house, we have used over 30 contractors of various types, and he ranks as the best. He had been highly recommend by several people in the neighborhood, and they were right. He is generally very busy, but certainly worth waiting for to get on his schedule.

Total Construction by Dale Lands LLC
Never happened: Mother payed deposit of almost $500 and just over 2 months later, still getting jerked around as to why its not even SCHEDULED yet. Mr Lands is quoted as saying "you're not getting your money back" even though the contract clearly states there is a 15% cancellation fee, "do what you gotta do" is in regards to my mother trying to get her money refunded, and "you're not a priority" is in regards to my mother asking why jobs ordered after her are getting done before hers is even scheduled. Very unprofessional and just good old fashioned robbery in my book. Please look elsewhere. Just an fyi, this place is the same place as Total Home Center on 40/42. Don't know why it's not listed as such....

    Genesis Construction LLC
Dax and his team were fantastic to work with and we look forward to working with him again for future projects at our home. They were on time and Dax took pride in keeping us up to date on the project. We recommend him and his team to all of our friends and he has already done several additional jobs which have turned out equally as good. We highly recommend Dax and his team with Genesis Construction.

    SADLER CONSTRUCTION CO
Mr. Smith came to review what we wanted promptly on the day and time setup. He stayed about an hour, measured, took photos and notes. He said he would have a rough estimate for us in a few days. One week went by with no response, so I called and asked for an update. No response. Two more weeks went by, we called again and asked just to let us know if they were interested in doing the work. One week later, no response. If Mr. Smith is ill or in the hospital, I'm sorry. If he is still working for Sadler, don't waste your time calling them.
