I have been receiving therapeutic massage for about 8 years now from Kathy at Professional Massage. I always leave my session deeply relax and very loose.she gives an excellent massage and at very reasonable price .it is absolutely a terrific bargain for the quality treatment you receive compared to whats out there. Quality Massage Now
February 7, 2018 John, I have been coming to you for massages for the past four years . I have followed you to several different locations over the years despite me having to drive 45-50 minutes to get there. I have entered in a professional client/therapist relationship with you. Over the past four years, I have had many massages with you. I have been late three times and understood it was my fault and would accept the remaining time on my session. I only missed one massage session, August 2017 , due to me being involved in car accident a few miles down the road from your office. At that point you left me a nasty message concerning me not showing up, even though I attempted to call you twice while I waited for the police, to let your know I would not be there due to the accident, although you did not pick up, I left a message. I know I have acted polite, responsible and respectful towards you. Therefore I find it shocking that you think so little of your behavior, attitude and profession as a LMT to act unprofessional , nasty, and rude to me because my Pay Flex Master Card would not go through. This was not my fault since it was clearly your phone device that did not have a signal. But you immediately accused me that my card did not work , you embarrassed me in front of the entire staff at the salon, and insisted I pay with another credit card, which I did not want to do since I made it perfectly clear to you, I went to my doctors and received a referral for the sole purpose that the massage was to be covered under my Pay Flex Card. I understand that you were frustrated over being late with your next client and that you were running late , but this was not my fault. I arrived 10 minutes early for my massage , I was not late. You however were not prepared for our session. I told you repeatedly I would need a note from you concerning my deep tissue massage for my Pay Flex Credit Card. You advertise on your website you take Pay Flex Credit Cards. I called you last week, days before our appointment, to notify you I would need this letter to summit with a bill from you. I even sent you a copy of the doctors order so you could see exactly what I needed . I told you exactly what to write for the insurance company. To Provider: Nancy was sent at my office on February 6, 2018 for a deep tissue massage. She was referred for a deep tissue sports massage , 1-2/x per week for 4-6 weeks by Matthew Smith, MD at EG Ortho. Nancys diagnosis was ,lumbosacral spondylosis without myelopathy, ICD-10: Spondylosis without myelopathy or radiculopathy, lumbosacral region; M54.5: low back pain; M47.816: Spondylosis without myelopathy or radiculopathy, lumbar region. I John Gavin (LMT) worked on the above areas with a series of deep tissue manipulations and stretch techniques . I will continue to see client as needed. The cost of the session is 95 dollars. Its wasn't rocket science to have a letter ready for me which I told you I needed. You did not care about my needs or what I wanted,. You did not listen to me. You told me you needed to see me first and then send me a letter days later. The fact is you were unprepared and tried to talk your way out of it with some logical nonsense. You did not feel like doing it. I had to spend several minutes again explaining to you what I needed, and you still seemed to complicate the whole thing and appeared confused, which probable put you behind schedule. Again ,this was not my fault. I told you specifically, several times I had a huge amount of credit on my Pay Flex credit card and that I would lose it by April first. Why would I want to put it on my regular credit card when I told you I needed to use my medical credit card. The expectations and boundaries were already discussed. At that point when the Pay Flex Card would not go through , I called the company with you right there to prove that it was your service and a bad connection , the problem was not my card, I did have the available funds on the card, which you so negatively accused me of not having. A professional person would have said, I see there must be a problem with the connection, I will call you this week to figure it out , but I need to go now. Instead you became abrupt , rude, ignorant, nasty, and totally unprofessional , this was all evidenced by you saying , I dont want to bother with you anymore, go, dont call me and, I dont want your money. Wow, who behaves like that? The fact is , you were unprepared, you did not care, you did not want to be bothered, you were frustrated for being late, then you projected all your issues onto me in a passive aggressive manner , and then tried to justify your behavior by terminating our relationship. You obviously do not value me as a customer. You have some serious personal and professional issues . You can spin this however way you like to, to justify your behavior, the facts are , you will do this again and continue to blame others for your child like behaviors until you come to a place of awareness about you! The results are nothing sort of miraculous.  Because of the nature of my injuries, I had altered even my standing, sitting and walking postures. Donna told me I would feel sore as if after a serious workout.  Yes I did feel sore, but from the first treatment I could feel the change in the areas of stress on my body.  I am undergoing a series of treatments and each time I get significant function back -- including improved breathing because of release of muscle tension on the ribcage.  This is not a one-hour feel-good fix -- this is serious therapy by a professional who finds the trigger points like a home-seeking missile, and releases them.

Unfortunately, it was not fit for her scheduling. My girlfriend asked for her after 6 but her time's over at 6. So far, she's yet to have a massage. She's not flexible with her scheduling so she has not gotten the massage yet. We're not happy with the scheduling. So far, we're not too happy. She claims one thing on the website. She claims she's available but she's not scheduling anything.

The massage went very well.  From the setting up of the appointment to the massage itself--all went very smoothly.  Elizabeth was welcoming, professional and sensitive.  Her way and spirit was easy and her massage work positively strong, relaxing and effective. Her office environment is both welcoming and aesthetically pleasing.  Overall, a very good experience.

Donna is amazing. She has incredibly strong hands and an intuitive sense of where I need attention. I have seen - and been pleased with - several good massage therapists in the past but I think she may be the strongest and most effective of all. It was a pleasant surprise and brought much-needed relief.

This was a scam. The order was put in through Angie's List Dec. 20th. Provider was suppose to contact me through Angie's List message board; she did not. When I attempted to contact the phone number provided on Angie's List page, I discovered it was out of service.
I was ripped off. I am hopeful that Angie's List will help me get a refund.

Awesome! From the scheduling to her welcome. I especially like her use of, I believe it was eucalyptus, to keep my nasal passage open while lying face down. I've had a lot of massages and no one has every done this before. The fact that I could easily breathe while have work done is a huge bonus. Another area of her practice that I like is her footwork.  It's amazing how tight my feet had become and she really worked to help balance them out with the rest of my body which has been feeling more like a pretzel. She is very warm and caring and the room was very comfortable. I will definitely go see her one more time before I leave Providence.
    Thanks Elizabeth!
