Lawn Care reviews in Providence

  • The absolute best spring cleanup I have had done. Compared to other companies I have used in the past, Hayden's was by far the best for a spring cleanup. Nice person to deal with and very punctual when doing my regular lawn cutting as well.

  • Extremely poorly - did not return phone calls - did not show up when promised; owed Victor Tree and Landscaping Co money for another job he had coopted with Victor and coordinated with Victor to have the trees removed here - Victor called us several times to know when Hernandez would be stopping by for a check - we ended up paying Victor Tree service direct $3,200.00 for tree and stump removal. Victor Tree Service left the back yard in extremely poor condition. Hernandez's work was so poor that I asked him to clean up what was remaining and then paid him $450.00. He used old landscape timbers and did not remove the old timbers - he placed them behind the garage for us to dispose of. Did not realize that he had placed the timbers there until he had collected his money and left the property. Hernandez and Victor Tree & Landscaping Service total unprofessional would never use either of them again and certainly would not recommend them. Total cost of service for the two was $3,650.00. The reason Victor received the most money is because Hernandez owed him money from another job. We were caught in the middle of a mess!!!

  • The laziest clean up job I've ever had done. Leaves between the bushes and behind my raised garden bed and backyard fence were never picked up. If it couldn't be picked up by machine, it was not picked up. I also wanted the lawn over seeded and asked about a machine that could be used to insert the seed into the soil. He said he could do the over seeding and told me about the grass seed he would be using. In the end, all he did was use a fertilizer spreader to spread the seed which ended up running off with all the rain that followed after the job was done. The pictures below show how the lawn looked 8 weeks after he fertilized and spread grass seed(over seeded). Would you be happy? I guess I am at fault for not demanding he use an over seeding machine. I assumed he had one because I asked about this type of machine to do the job so I wonder if his broken English is an excuse he uses for misunderstandings. I also think he took a job the same day from somebody down the street from me which could have resulted in such a lousy job. I saw somebody come up to Mr. Brito and he disappeared for 20 minutes with no equipment so he might have left to give the man an estimate leaving his 1 helper to do most of the work. Unprofessional in my opinion. He was also suppose to come back and do some repair work on my stairs and some concrete work on my driveway. He did the yard clean up and I never heard from them again about doing the concrete jobs he gave me quotes for. Highly unprofessional and it makes me wonder how meaningful it is to be named an Angie's list award winner. One last thing, if he gives you an estimate, GET IT IN WRITING.

  • There is an easement in the backyard of multiple properties on my street which is mandated by the town for proper drainage throughout the neighborhood. Home owners are responsible for maintaining the easement in regards to its function and accessibility. I hired Greenwave Landscape & Horticulture Services LLC to do a major cleanup of dead trees, debris, and shrub overgrowth from the past years build up in order to keep the Easement functional. The owner was very friendly, courteous, and professional. He provided me with a free consultation and an estimate that was very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be performed. After reading reviews online from other customers on Angies List I felt comfortable to move forward. The work was performed diligently and with very high quality. I am very pleased with the way things turned out.

  • Great work. Patio is exactly what I envisioned. The wall is dry stack stone, which was falling and bowing. It was rebuilt so that it should never need work on it in the future, with drainage pipes and rebar. my whole yard looks great, green and lush. I'm very pleased with the work that was done. Joe and Vina are great to work with.

  • I was happy with the results. He listened to what I wanted. He knew what he was doing (unlike some other people I have hired) and made helpful suggestions. He had good equipment, for digging, that fit into my back yard. He supervised the workers that had to do some heavy work by hand. He was here close to the times he said and he left things clean. He had the equipment, the muscle and the brains.

  • It's $35 a visit. What keeps me going back to them is the owner of business, because he is responsive, he understands customer service, he listens to his clients as to what we want. We're having a heat wave at the moment and they're leaving the grass longer so it doesn't burn; this is important. He's very professional. For the lawn cutting, it's an A. We've had some other issues along the way, but those have been resolved. They're A across the board for the lawn mowing.

  • Ricky prepared three designs. We worked with him and ended up with one gorgeous design. He planted and added mulch. We couldn't be happier. Ricky is a very nice young man, who worked very hard to please us.

  • Very slow to respond to e-mail, scheduled an appointment for Friday night and then canceled by e-mail an hour before. Rescheduled for Sunday after 6pm, showed up just before 7pm. Quoted me $150.00 for clean up, slightly high but I agreed, then stated it would be $55.00 to cut the grass every other week.....what? My front yard is small and the back is mostly trees, very little grass to cut which is why I only need bi-weekly. Was clearly not interested in doing the job, simply shrugged and walked away when I said that price was high.

  • Wonderful. I highly recommend Ricky. He called us right back after I left a message. Came over I think the next day, and set up the spring clean up for a week later. It was a huge job, and they did it all beautifully and professionally at a very reasonable price. Moreover, we live around the corner from a Farmer's Market so the parking was very difficult on Sat. morning. They were very flexible (they couldn't park in our driveway since he had a 14 foot trailer with equipment) so after coming by and finding there was nowhere to park they just adjusted the schedule to come back later. We were completely satisfied (and will use them for regular maintenance)
