  • My tankless boiler was continuing to produce an ignition error which prevented any regular heat or hot water. The eventual fix took longer and was more complicated that any of us originally thought, but Affordable HVAC was very accommodating, even to the point of working closely with the tech support of the company who distributes my boiler. Affordable HVAC was fully committed to getting my boiler issues fixed, and I would recommend them to anybody looking for solid work in this area.

  • (Rhode Island) I had a 2 service contract with them. I call to set up an appointment I spoke Brenda at the office, she said company in my area went out of business two month ago. She gave me a number for corporate office. She would not let me talk to her manager. I called them and left a message but no one call me back.

  • We contacted Priority Plumbing and Heating because we were having a slow water leak from our boiler causing water to pool on the basement floor. We agreed that it was not such an emergency that they needed to come the same day, and we scheduled a visit for 2 days later. They arrived on time, and quickly found the source of the problem. They replaced the necessary parts the same day. While they were there, we also had them look at the hose spigot on the back of the house, which had a backflow preventer that had burst (causing water to come out around the hose) and was corroded onto the spigot. They replaced the entire spigot (and a few feet of pipe). They did excellent work and were very professional, and we will definitely contact them again for any further plumbing or heating needs.

  • I had a contract with them for a number of years, and I renewed the contract for $189 in December 2017, and when I contacted them about servicing the AC in summer 2018, six months into the contract, I discover that they have gone out of business. There is a national headquarters with which they were affiliated, but I get the runaround from them and nobody is able to offer any information about what happened.

  • Has not been able to fix furnace. Started out nice, come right out, but keep having to come back and sending me bills without resolving my furnace. I called and got no response from the supervisor for a while. He only called back once and left one voicemail and that was it. Never called back.

  • TERRIBLE customer service. This company was recommended by an oil-only heating repair company. The technician (for some reason I got the impression he was the owner) had me take off work to stay home for an entire afternoon and then didn't show up. When I finally got in touch with him more than 30 minutes after the latest time he was supposed to be at my house, he told me that he was in traffic at the other end of the state (minimally a 45-minute drive without traffic) and wouldn't be able to make it that day. He rescheduled for what he said was the "first appointment Saturday morning." When he hadn't shown up 30 minutes after the Saturday appointment time, I called again and, because the office was closed, had to wait another 40 minutes before I got a call back from the same technician. This time he told me that he was busy with another customer and that he would get to me when he could. I told him that I could not wait for him at this point, an hour and a half after the appointed time, because I had to be somewhere else, and asked, annoyedly but not rudely, why he hadn't at least called to let me know that he was going to be late. He then started yelling at me, telling me that he always had to take care of the most difficult cases because the other technicians were not as skilled as he, that he was fixing a boiler at a nursing home (in retrospect, I suspect that this was a lie, told to me so that I would feel guilty that I actually expected him to show up when we said he would, or at least to call), and that if I couldn't wait for him to get there, then I could just find another company to fix my boiler, he wasn't going to reschedule. I had just wasted a week and a half waiting for this appointment, stayed home from work for 1/2 a day and wasted a Saturday morning waiting on this guy who never showed up and never called to tell me what was going on, still had people living in the middle of January with a boiler that was not functioning properly, and now had to start the process all over again. I confess that, at this point, I said, "You've got to be %$#@@*ing kidding me." And he hung up on me. Don't risk it - this company is a disaster.

  • Wayne and his crew did a great job! Boiler was failing and within 2 days Wayne and his crew had installed a new one. Pricing, timeliness, and workmanship were excellent. Already planning on using them to tune up AC unit.

  • Malone's service combines friendly personnel with plumbing expertise and fair pricing. Our heating unit was not working, though our furnace was firing, so I wasn't sure what was wrong (I know nothing about these units). Malone arrived first thing in morning following a call the previous afternoon and got us up and running in no time. It should be noted that we called another plumbing service prior to Malone who quoted us around $1k! I couldn't be any happier with Malone and will be using them in the future for any plumbing or heating needs.
