  • I have been receiving therapeutic massage for about 8 years now from Kathy at Professional Massage. I always leave my session deeply relax and very loose.she gives an excellent massage and at very reasonable price .it is absolutely a terrific bargain for the quality treatment you receive compared to what’s out there. • February 7, 2018 John, I have been coming to you for massages for the past four years . I have followed you to several different locations over the years despite me having to drive 45-50 minutes to get there. I have entered in a professional client/therapist relationship with you. Over the past four years, I have had many massages with you. I have been late three times and understood it was my fault and would accept the remaining time on my session. I only missed one massage session, August 2017 , due to me being involved in car accident a few miles down the road from your office. At that point you left me a nasty message concerning me not showing up, even though I attempted to call you twice while I waited for the police, to let your know I would not be there due to the accident, although you did not pick up, I left a message. I know I have acted polite, responsible and respectful towards you. Therefore I find it shocking that you think so little of your behavior, attitude and profession as a LMT to act unprofessional , nasty, and rude to me because my Pay Flex Master Card would not go through. This was not my fault since it was clearly your phone device that did not have a signal. But you immediately accused me that my card did not work , you embarrassed me in front of the entire staff at the salon, and insisted I pay with another credit card, which I did not want to do since I made it perfectly clear to you, I went to my doctors and received a referral for the sole purpose that the massage was to be covered under my Pay Flex Card. I understand that you were frustrated over being late with your next client and that you were running late , but this was not my fault. I arrived 10 minutes early for my massage , I was not late. You however were not prepared for our session. I told you repeatedly I would need a note from you concerning my deep tissue massage for my Pay Flex Credit Card. You advertise on your website you take Pay Flex Credit Cards. I called you last week, days before our appointment, to notify you I would need this letter to summit with a bill from you. I even sent you a copy of the doctor’s order so you could see exactly what I needed . I told you exactly what to write for the insurance company. To Provider: Nancy was sent at my office on February 6, 2018 for a deep tissue massage. She was referred for a deep tissue sports massage , 1-2/x per week for 4-6 weeks by Matthew Smith, MD at EG Ortho. Nancy’s diagnosis was ,lumbosacral spondylosis without myelopathy, ICD-10: Spondylosis without myelopathy or radiculopathy, lumbosacral region; M54.5: low back pain; M47.816: Spondylosis without myelopathy or radiculopathy, lumbar region. I John Gavin (LMT) worked on the above areas with a series of deep tissue manipulations and stretch techniques . I will continue to see client as needed. The cost of the session is 95 dollars. Its wasn't rocket science to have a letter ready for me which I told you I needed. You did not care about my needs or what I wanted,. You did not listen to me. You told me you needed to see me first and then send me a letter days later. The fact is you were unprepared and tried to talk your way out of it with some logical nonsense. You did not feel like doing it. I had to spend several minutes again explaining to you what I needed, and you still seemed to complicate the whole thing and appeared confused, which probable put you behind schedule. Again ,this was not my fault. I told you specifically, several times I had a huge amount of credit on my Pay Flex credit card and that I would lose it by April first. Why would I want to put it on my regular credit card when I told you I needed to use my medical credit card. The expectations and boundaries were already discussed. At that point when the Pay Flex Card would not go through , I called the company with you right there to prove that it was your service and a bad connection , the problem was not my card, I did have the available funds on the card, which you so negatively accused me of not having. A professional person would have said, “I see there must be a problem with the connection, I will call you this week to figure it out , but I need to go now.” Instead you became abrupt , rude, ignorant, nasty, and totally unprofessional , this was all evidenced by you saying , I don’t want to bother with you anymore, go, don’t call me and, I don’t want your money. Wow, who behaves like that? The fact is , you were unprepared, you did not care, you did not want to be bothered, you were frustrated for being late, then you projected all your issues onto me in a passive aggressive manner , and then tried to justify your behavior by terminating our relationship. You obviously do not value me as a customer. You have some serious personal and professional issues . You can spin this however way you like to, to justify your behavior, the facts are , you will do this again and continue to blame others for your child like behaviors until you come to a place of awareness about you! • They sent a latex 300.00 foam mattress not the one we have to replace. It contains Latex! Told them I'm highly allergic The nurse from the company came out a saw and apologies Nothing for several hours has been done to rectify. They put my health I'm on hospice at risk! Besides having FedEx drop off this foam latex mattress my poor husband had to drag in to drag our mattress they destroyed down stairs to not even be the one we were assured would be delivered ! Cruel and disgusted I'm lucky I didn't sleep in this bed ( because it's so uncomfortable ) because of the latex and I had just had a central line put in on Friday. This company should be **** down! My mattress is option mattress there's is the no name that is latex and only foam! Norm memeory foam like ours.

  • Beautiful, clean office, friendly office staff. I love the way Dr. Beitle met me in his office while I was fully clothed and spoke to me like I was a person, not just patient #20 in a paper gown. I've had a lot of experience with the paper gown meetings and I appreciated being treated with dignity and respect. Dr. Beitle made me feel comfortable voicing any concerns I had. He asked plenty of questions...was thorough. In the exam room there is a sound machine playing the sound of waves which is very relaxing while waiting for the doctor to come in. After the exam, I got dressed and met him in his office. He told me that if there were any problems with the pap smear he would call personally to tell me. I haven't had this kind of patient-oriented experience at an ob-gyn office since I had Dr. Anctil in Fall River, MA, many years ago. So glad I saw all of his great reviews online and that they were all true.

  • It was excellent, and he is very good. He cracks jokes, and is a very funny guy. He has an incredible following. He is an older guy, and there are people that have been going to him for years. My mom has been using him for years. He is semi-retired though.

  • The results are nothing sort of miraculous.  Because of the nature of my injuries, I had altered even my standing, sitting and walking postures. Donna told me I would feel sore as if after a serious workout.  Yes I did feel sore, but from the first treatment I could feel the change in the areas of stress on my body.  I am undergoing a series of treatments and each time I get significant function back -- including improved breathing because of release of muscle tension on the ribcage.  This is not a one-hour feel-good fix -- this is serious therapy by a professional who finds the trigger points like a home-seeking missile, and releases them.

  • I started at this office a few years ago with Dr. Sienna and really liked her.  She has since retired and I saw Dr. Harris Galkin this week.  He's ok--went through my records carefully and conducted an exam.  He suggested an ultrasound to confirm an IUD was still positioned correctly.  They were unable to do it right then, so I returned 2 days later.  The ultrasound room is a disaster.  The floor looks like it hasn't been mopped (let alone bleached or scrubbed) in ages, there was a pen on the floor, a paper clip on the floor, and it's located in what looks like a storage closet (boxes of supplies, reams of paper, etc.)  The desk is old and totally chipped up all along the edges, and it's just jam packed with stuff--although not medical supplies that you would expect.  It's the tech's purse (sitting on the box of tissues), bags from Toys R Us, and just general office mess.  It looks like an old, messy storage closet with an ultrasound machine and exam table stuck in it.  Seriously makes me wonder what else is being handled under similar conditions in that office.
I spoke with the office manager and shared my concerns.  She totally agreed it was unacceptable.  She said she's been there a year and has gotten push back in getting them to make changes.  What medical office with high standards puts up a fight about keeping things clean?
The girls at the front desk are not friendly.  Go through the motions without a smile or thank-you.

  • The actual dentist was really nice but the office staff are not very friendly and are not very helpful. They called to confirm the appointment and left me a message. When I called back to confirm our appointment, the lady sounded almost annoyed that I was calling her and confused by what I was calling for. It was like she didn't get the names right or like she got the last name but not the first names correct. Other than that, they are pretty good. Punctuality was fine.

  • My husband had gone to Eastside and recommended it. Never having visited a chiropractor, I was nervous, they put me at ease and the experience was very positive. My only caveat is that parking can be a little tricky at certain times of the day since Broadway is a busy road.

  • Dr. Miele seems to be more concerned with billing your insurance company for providing no-brainer advice than actually taking the time to get to know you, your condition, and your goals. Not only did he insult my weight, but he also made sexist comments.
Medicine is not just about treating a medical condition?it?s also about communication and collaboration between the patient and physician. As a physician, you can?t make assumptions about people, and you can?t expect people to just nod their heads in agreement with you. In a competitive healthcare market, there are lots of options out there for where I can receive care, and I choose to take my business elsewhere.
Do yourself a favor, and find another podiatrist. There are many others to choose from!
