  • I purchased 4 hours of drywall/plaster repair labor on 9/15/14 (2 months ago)  The company was supposed to contact me within 48 hours to schedule the job. At the time of purchase I suggested 3 possible dates.
They responded within the 48 hours only to tell me that they would contact me later to schedule the job. They never did schedule it.
I got one more response from the company stating that they had lost all my contact information and needed it again. I assumed this was just a stall tactic, but I gladly gave it to them.
After waiting almost 2 months, I made other arrangements to have the work done.
I don't know what's going on, but perhaps this company is in a state of crisis, or is not able to fulfill its obligation to Angies List purchasers. The odd thing is that they continued to sell deals on Angies list. I got a message from Angies List about another deal from them for painting labor.
Based on other recent reviews regarding the quality of their work, I guess it's for the best that they never did any work at my house.

  • This was a large upmarket residential renovation totaling well over $100,000.  The general contractor,Provider name locked. did an excellent job. The project took approximately 4 months from start to finish. It was directly managed by company owner Provider name locked. . This man was extremely detail and quality oriented and his expert crew worked hard to meet his (and our) expectations to make sure every aspect of the project was done right. If, on the rare occasion it wasn't done right, it was done over.  We provided most of the design and high-end finish materials on the interior, while Provider name locked. provided all of the labor and structural materials necessary. This arrangement worked well for both of us.

Other than holidays and weekends the crew showed up virtually every workday for 4 months straight. Unbelievable! We are not new to home renovation and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of the general contracting world. We were prepared to struggle with such a large renovation, but Provider name locked.  came thru as one of the most professional operations I have ever observed. When the rare problem came up, it always came with a solution attached.

Since we were living in the house with 3 noisy dogs during the entire project, consideration on everybody's part was essential. The crew almost always took adequate time out at the end of each work day to clean up the site understanding it was somebody's home. My experience has not always been good in this regard. Since time is money in the contracting world, the daily clean-up often gets the short shrift. Not with this company.

The only part of the huge project not done by Provider name locked. was the new heating system, otherwise he did everything necessary to take a very dated and worn 1972 colonial (needing EVERYTHING) and make its interior shine like 2014. We could have hired a less expensive contractor (be aware Provider name locked. is not the cheap seats), and some of the extras were a little more expensive than expected. But value is always the intersection of price and quality. In this case, we achieved the highest value we could have ever expected. Thank you Angie's List!!

  • The experience was good...although, we changed our minds several times, they were very patient with us. We were most pleased that Provider name locked. finished early; even after we made changes.
