    It couldn't have gone better! I put in a quote request yesterday, and received a call within 20 minutes from Doug at A Action Appliance. He listened while I explained the problem with my washing machine, and put my mind at ease saying it probably wasn't anything too serious, and it would probably be worth it to get it fixed. We made an appointment for this morning (the next day) between 8:00 and 12:00. A little later I got an email to confirm the appointment, and another one so that I could track my service professional to see how many more customers he had to get to before he got to me. I didn't end up using that as he called at 8:00 and said he was on his way. When Paul showed up he was very courteous even offering to put on shoe coverings to enter. I showed him where the washing machine was and he went to work. He told me it was a bad lid switch and let me know the price to replace it. I agreed to the price. He was done within a 1/2 hour and asked me if there was anything else he could help with. I did have him price 2 other jobs, I decided against it today, but if I do decide to do the projects, I will definitely go with A Action Appliance. They do a great job, they are friendly and courteous and keep you informed every step of the way. Thank you.

    I called due to a gas leak where I had asked the gas company to shut off the gas to resolve the problem. The good thing about this company is that they responded quickly and were able to get someone to the house that day. That is basically where the good ended. They arrived and visually inspected the issue. I was told they couldnt do work without me there so I left work in the middle of the day and had someone cover me temporarily. Upon arriving to the property the worker did not want to get out of the car initially, then proceeded to tell me that this was solely a diagnostic. I had immediately called the office to confirm that this was for diagnosis and repair of the problem. At that time he then decided to say "well we cant fix it today anyways." He stated that it needed permits and different parks and testing that would cost $1800. This was absolutely absurd as I had gotten other quotes for $100-$200 but had already had this company coming and wanted to give them a fair shot. The worker was condescending and when asked for the breakdown of the pricing he was unable to give. Needless to say this seemed to be a scam to get the $150 diagnostic fee. I went with another company who came out the next morning and was able to diagnosis and repair the problem for $285. This was ridiculous. Whether they were trying to take advantage of a younger woman with limited plumbing knowledge or they had other motives, the picture was clear that this was exorbitantly overpriced and unfairly priced. This is the reasoning for my review.

    Mike was timely in his call back and able to fit me into the schedule right away. He was clear about what the problem was and what needed to be fixed and gave a fair price. He was very easy to work with and I look forward to working with him in the future.

    I have never written a review on an appliance repair and install company but I could not go another day without talking about the customer service and great job this team did on my appliances. Mike Roia came out to my home for several items and all are in perfect working order. He was honest about the repairs and veru fair with pricing. He even helped me by coming out when my fridge stopped working within 24hrs and I know that that level of commitment to a repeat client is not always seen with the others. If you have any repairs or need appliances installed call them. They are there to help and are kind and professional.

    Extremely honest. It took some problem-solving, but he got to the bottom of it eventually. Along the way he made a mistake that I NEVER would have known about. But he told me and didn't charge me for the extra work or materials. This kind of honesty is rare.

    Was told a snake job and pipe replacement was necessary. Also discussed replacing the garbage disposal machine under the sink. Initially discussed the use of a contract, but Mauricio stated "it wouldn't have been necessary" and verbally agreed on the complete job and costs. Gave 60% of payment upfront, agreed to give the rest once the job is complete. Mauricio said he would return the same day. (He did not). Didn't even call to relay the message of his delay in renting the snake tool. However, he did immediately deposit the check of the 60% of payment. He returned the next day, used the snake to clean out the pipe. Then relayed the message that the pipe SUDDENLY doesn't need to be replaced and that the replacement of the garbage disposal was never discussed (it was, in front of witnesses) and that he would be back for the remainder 40% of his pay. He left without cleaning up any messes that was created cleaning out the pipe with the snake (dirty water trash from the clogging all over the floor.) When he saw that he was not receiving the rest of his pay upon his return (unless he completed what was discussed), he unprofessionally (yelling, cursing) walked out of the residence, telling us to never call him again.

    Sears repairman showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and set to correcting it right away. Freezer needed a new defrost sensor, which repairman had to go get, as he did not have specific part in his truck. Repair was completed, frost removed and refrigerator and freezer are functioning like new!
