The Oregon Clinic - Administrative Office
Overall, the experience was very good. All the nursing and office staff were exemplary. However, the earliest appointment I could get with a gastroenterologist was 5 weeks out. This was really not acceptable given the circumstances. Although their website says that there is no doctor referral required, without a referral it was very difficult to get on the waiting list for an earlier appointment. Please note that it is completely impossible to see most gastroenterologists in Portland without a referral. So, it is good that Oregon Clinic was willing to see me at all without a referral. It was 2.5 weeks between when I called for an appointment and when I saw the gastroenterologist. It was another week before the minor surgical procedure. The gastroenterologist was Dr. Hinnsman. She was fine. I don't recall the surgeon's name. I did not speak with the surgeon for very long before sedation.

    Oregon Sleep Associates
I go there every three months. My overall experience with them was absolutely amazing! I like their attention to details, their kindness and their willingness to answer questions. Everything there was nice and clean. The partner that I saw there was Dr. Daniel B. Root. He is an amazing person and absolutely the best! It is very easy to get an appointment with him, and the office staffs are always friendly.

They're outstanding; all around.  It's worth the drive but you have to wait for a long time for an appointment.

The Oregon Clinic - Administrative Office
They treat sleep apnea and many other things there. They have pulmonary specialists. They have all kinds of doctors there that are very good in their fields. I see two different doctors at Oregon Clinic; one is a pulmonologist and the other is a primary care doctor. I would go there any day and I would recommend them to anybody. They saved my life many years ago. The doctor I see for general practice is very nice. They set down and talk to you and don't rush you. I have no complaints. I can see my primary care doctor anytime I want. The specialists have very nice offices and they have a brand new building. My primary care doctor has a nice office but not as nice as the specialists. There are a lot of little kids running around so if you don't like kids you shouldn't go there. They try to get you in within 20 minutes. The pulmonary specialist is very punctual.

Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center
Legacy Good Samaritan is a pulmonary clinic where they treat people for diseases like lung cancer. The name of our nurse practitioner is Lisa Roessel. She works with a pulmonologist. We visit her every month and she has made some big strides in her treatment of my husband.

I have severe COPD and have not been getting good or appropriate treatment at VA so I am switching to Providence/Oregon Clinic. Treatement so far has been wonderful, thorough, and fast. Highly recommend.

    Legacy Medical Group
Dr. Christopher Fraley ordered tests, and followed up with treatment for COPD and did so in a timely manner, was thorough and knowledgeable and had a marvelous and quot;bedsideand quot; manner. He went further than necessary to call my primary care doctor to ask her to talk to me about following through with some knee surgery that I had been putting off, because he felt if I had that done I would be able to exercise more and that would help my breathing problem. I definitely will continue to go back to him, and refer him to my friends and family.

    The Oregon Clinic - Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep
I visit Dr. Morgan Roth and have been visiting for about a year and a half. The location is great, but it is really hard to get an appointment. I am not too happy with the doctor and I do not feel like he is really trying to work with me on my condition. He has not referred me to any therapy and I feel like I have gotten no direction on my condition, as well.

    Oregon Pulmonary Assoc
I received a diagnosis from another pulmonary clinic. I decided to try another pulmonary practice for treatment and that was OPA. It's true what the others say that it's highly likely you'll get a voice mail to make an appointment.  I called and waited for months for an appointment.  The clinic called me and told me the doctor will be out the week in August I was supposed to finally get my day. I guess the doctor must have planned vacation that week. When I complained about the time I waited, they told me I could be put on a cancellation list.  I'd think those of us who got that phone call should have at the least been put on the top of the cancellation list! A paltry chewed up bone to throw at the patient, indeed. So now they tell me I can reschedule...for October. So if you don't mind waiting 6 months to see the doctor, I suppose it's a great practice. Maybe they shouldn't schedule poor saps in August at all if that's when they doctors are going on vacation? That would be the ethical thing to do. Move on to another practice that is not so overly burdened or understaffed.
