    Mason Bee Woodcraft, LLC
Morgan surpassed all my expectations. His craftsmanship and thoughtfulness were superb. He built a custom henhouse and coop, in an awkward space in our backyard. Frankly, I'm not sure how he figured out the angles and constructed this coop. But it is beautiful, very functional, and exactly what I was hoping for. Furthermore, Morgan was honest, and communication with him was great. He always let me know where things were at with the project, and he always asked me questions to make sure the job was being done the way I wanted. I would very highly recommend Mason Bee Woodcraft, LLC to anyone with a wood or carpentry project who wants to have an exceptional experience and an even more exceptional final product.

    West-Meyer Fence
I called West-Meyer Fence to get an estimate for a handrail for my 94 year old mother. She wanted something fun to look at, and needed something sturdy. Lance came to our home the next morning. West-Meyer does it's own fabrication, and he suggested the perfect railing. Received the estimate the next day and scheduled installation, which was done exactly when requested. I must apologize that I am forgetful of names, but want to point out that their installer obviously takes great pride in his work and company, and was very comfortable to be around. Mom loves her new handrail. A complete success.

    DogWatch Hidden Fences of Portland
Great work and effective training. It has been very effective with my dog and a huge benefit to keeping her within boundaries without a fence. I had one issue with her response to the fence and Glenn was very responsive to come back to the property and help me with my concerns. He made a slight adjustment on settings to help with my dog's response. I have not had any issues since. Great system, service and support. I would highly recommend to others and would use again.

Glenn was prompt and provided exactly the service and product that we needed.  Our dog was very social and loved to go on "walks by himself!"  Our invisible fence has stopped that completely.  Our dog is now safe and happy.  He loves to be outside and we have the peace of mind that even though we cannot always see him, he is safely chasing squirrels or deer and will safely come back when called.  The fence works beautifully.  Our dog will chase the deer as fast as he can and he will stop short, just in time not to get a "zap!"   For those concerned that it will hurt or harm your dog, I would strongly disagree.  It only took a few times the first week before he completely adheres to his boundary.   He knows and respects his boundaries and does not get shocked.  I highly recommend Glenn, his service and products.

    Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking - Hillsboro
This company was very responsive and punctual with their estimates and planning.  They requested half of the full cost up front and completed the job on budget.  The structure they built is very sturdy.
On the day of the estimate we had discussed using a lightweight wire fencing as the "walls" of the enclosure, much like a smaller gauge square mesh wire fencing used for chicken pens.  I even sent example photos to them to show what we wanted.  However, on the day of the job the crew showed up with a much heavier wire fencing roll like what is used for horse fencing.  This wire fencing was much thicker and difficult for them to bend, cut and work with to wrap.  The wire was so thick that they had to actually hammer the mesh into the support beams to get it to lay flat and stay in place.  They got the job done, but this style of fencing doesn't look as nice as the originally proposed lighter product.  It's total overkill for our 8 to 12 lb house cats a looks like it was built for something much larger like a primate cage.
The work crew was very nice and hard working and they were just following the instructions they were given, but the end result does not have the high quality appearance of the work displayed on their website.  It is a sturdy, but rough, and cage-like structure.  We will have to do a fair amount of finish work to get this to look nice, but will have to work with what we have now.  Unfortunately, the way the horse fencing was attached makes it pretty much impossible to remove and replace, so we will have to work with what we have now.
We we so excited about this project and our pictured outcome, that it was hard to come to terms of the disappointment at the end result.  However, it is functional and the cats love their new outdoor space and spend most of the spring and summer out there lounging in the sun and watching birds.  Which is the most important part.

Go Green Remodeling and Construction LLC
I couldn't be happier.  They did an excellent job at a lower price that the other bid I received.  Craig was able to come up with a design that worked better that what anyone else had come up with.  When the fencing was delayed he even came out on a Saturday to put in the dog door.  They installed the chain link product as soon as it was available and customized part of it.  It's sturdy, works well and they were neat and orderly.  It's especially nice to see the owner on the job rather than delegating it to others.

    DogWatch Hidden Fences of Portland
As with many folks in Portland, Oregon, we have a dog. And as with many people we share a fence with our neighbors. Sadly their dogs are quite fence aggressive, which, overtime became a delightful game for our dog. She would charge the fence, run back and forth and create quite a ruckus. As a 120 lb newfie, she smashed plants, ruined trees and made our time outside challenging as we worked to keep her off the fence.

I was hesitant to investigate an invisible fence because I was worried about how the collar may "hurt" my dog. But after one too many tussles at the fence line, I began my search on Angie's List. I contacted Megan, the owner and she returned my message in less than one day. She was out within three days (my schedule had delayed us) to provide an estimate and walk me through our options. She even left behind a remote dog trainer for us to test out until we had the fence in place.

Megan has been amazing. She was thoughtful about the installation, what made sense for the yard and the dog. And not only did she install the fencing, she returned to help us fine tune the programming. We were so happy that we purchased a similar device for walking/hiking. Now when we're out and about on the weekends at the Oregon Coast or Hood River, we can have more control over our big furry giant.

My worries about "hurting" my dog have vanished. She no longer charges the fence. Our backyard is peaceful again -- well on our side. The other dogs can snarl and growl, but our dog simply stays away.  In fact the cat has figured out how to be on the alternate side of the invisible fence and teases her from the other side!

I highly recommend Megan and DogWatch Hidden Fences. If we ever move, she'll be one of the first folks that I call!

    INVISIBLE FENCE OF PORTLAND
I just adopted a yellow lab with a lot of behavior problems. He has separation anxiety and anytime I would leave, he would figure out a way to get out of the yard. After receiving calls that he was out, I decided to get help. I called and set up an appointment for the same day. The salesman came out, the new dog jumped on him, got him dirty and he was very gracious. Decided to install the fence and the technician came at the appointed time. Received training and then decided I wanted a unit for the inside as well (the dog can open the refrigerator door). Received additional training and the inside unit and love it. I can keep the rotten dog at home - and yes, I love him to pieces.
