  • I always used to go to Healthy Nails in Sellwood, but I moved and they just seem to far away. A friend recommended this place last summer and I've never been anywhere else since. They are good about trying to fit people in,(though I always make an appointment). The price is the same as everywhere else. The ladies are very friendly and seem sincere. They have a good selection of colors. The best part is that a regular manicure (not shellac) lasts at least 3 weeks. I haven't had a shellac manicure here as I'm trying to stay away from them, but their manicure stations always look full. Have yet to have a bad experience here.

  • riatIt's rare for a Provider name locked. to be open on Monday, but it turns out these folks are open 7 days a week. I was home from work and needed a little tlc for my feet, so I gave a call and they put me on the schedule for that afternoon. :)

Provider name locked. did a great job on my feet and toes! I think she was more attentive than other places I've been. I got the Spa Pedicure because that included a moisture Provider name locked. and was only a few bucks more. It was really nice. I think even the basic pedicure would be good because Provider name locked. had such a good sense of what my feet needed. She was friendly and didn't rush through anything.

After my pedi, I talked with the person at the check-out about hair care for my neglected nest of a hairdo, and she made a lot of sense, even recommended some 'home remedy' stuff that would help. I got some fancy products, and though I haven't tried them yet, I have a sense that they'll be just right.

The Provider name locked. is modern and shabby chic at the same time. The pedi and shampoo area is appropriately clean and orderly and the haircutting stations have cool old vanities painted in fun colors. the overall feel is nice. I overheard some talk amongst stylists about a challenging color project and I was impressed with their team approach and artful application of chemistry and design. Pretty cool. If I got color, I'd go there.

  • I thought it was great.  The atmosphere was very quaint, which I like.  I hate going into a place and feeling out of place. I liked that I was actually able to have a conversation with Provider name locked. , unlike other places where your technician talks to everyone accept you.  She was very friendly, gentle, and let me try a few different polishes on my actual nail instead of just choosing based on the color in the bottle.  I will definitely be going back.
