AThey're great! They sent everything we needed with lots of instructions for setup. We had a few questions because our phone system isn't the simplest, but they talked us through it all very patiently. Everyone exhibits a sense of caring for our well-being.

CDifficult to get engineering answers or input. Their total response was "read the diagram." Then, when they came to install, it turned out that they had read the diagram wrong! Not only was the additional concrete cutting that they requested unnecessary but they put the lift in crooked. They also never replied to our requests for help addressing the fact that the person for whom the lift was put in couldn't open the gates because the magnetic latches were too tight. A little duct tape minimized the problem but we reached out both to them local company and the lift manufacturer (twice) for info on automatic openers for the gates (listed on the web site) and never heard back.

FWorst experience. Had my Mom there from June-December 2017. If you care about your family member do not place them at Calaroga Terrace. It took six weeks for them to give her a shower and took hours for caregivers to come when called through the emergency call button, this was not a one time occurrence, occurred multiple times, one incident resulting in trip to ER. I understand from former employees that there are a handful of lawsuits going on.

FThis company is nowhere near where we live. Hundreds of miles away. BAD algorithm. Almost as bad the one that put us in the Tenderloin area of San Francisco. If your algorithm can identify districts in a city it ought to recognize an address that was located +30 miles away from it as NOT being part of it!

ATrilogy Home CareI've had several agencies, and these people are the best that I've ever had. Great management, great people. If you have a personality conflict with your care-giver, they will make sure to work with you until the right person for you is found. Their billing is more than reasonable. They are dependable, bend over backwards to be fair. Never had a problem, a while now.- Eileen J.

ACALAROGA TERRACEOverall, the care has been excellent--the care-givers are friendly and have established friendships with my mother. Also, Calaroga's management has been responsive when there is an issue about billing (which has occured rarely) or when I have needed assistance in dealing with hospital staff. Initially, my mother moved into an apartment on the and quot;unassisted livingand quot; floors. However, as she has become increasingly frail, she has now transitioned to her own studio apartment on the assisted living floor. Still, my mother says she feels both independent and well cared for. Although she no longer participates in the numerous scheduled outings, she is very happy Calaroga has two libraries on site and a shuttle bus for shopping trips. During my mother's five years in Portland, I have had the opportunity to get a client's view of several assisted living places in Portland. I have found Calaroga to be the best overall provider of care in a friendly, engaging environment. (It is important to note, however, that Calaroga does not provide skilled nursing services.)- JP C.

ACALAROGA TERRACEThey were outstanding. She was there for eight years and we found the place and took her there and brought her up in California and took her around for the tour and were (8:16) __ that is why she lived there. They were very quick to respond and very easily got exactly the apartment that she wanted and she was so pleased with them for eight years. Everybody there was absolutely professional and wonderful. I can't find fault with any of them. They screened the people so carefully and all the staff and the caregivers and so forth were extremely helpful and professional.- Susan K.

ATHE HEIGHTS AT COLUMBIA KNOLLMoved my mom in to an apartment, the first time out of her own home. She really enjoys the nice spacious rooms, terrific accessible bathroom and kitchen. The food is great, I enjoy eating there myself. She enjoys the residents, comfortable with their social interaction. The staff is polite. The facility is beautiful and bright. There are lots of activities to participate in if they are interested.- COLLEEN C.

AIndependent Nurse Consulting LLCLarry Fein started medication management services for my 88-year-old uncle about seven months ago. My uncle is able to live in an independent retirement living facility, but his dementia makes it impossible for him to be responsible for taking his prescribed medication on his own. Larry has been a life saver for us, enabling us to not have to spend an hour round trip driving to manage my uncle's medication needs. He was able to help us set up a weekly medication box which my uncle only needs to use once a day, and it has worked out very well. With Larry's extensive experience, I know we will be able to utilize his services more as my uncle's condition worsens. He is very professional and knowledgeable, and we would recommend him highly.- Bruce M.
