  • Well it started out pretty well but a bit overwhelming for my mom and us all because of the lack of space and not having the right equipment to work with. some of the services were benig met but when as the weeks went on communication seem t have ceased and the care seem to have ceased also it became weeks and too many days inbetween before our mother could get a bath or the proper care that she really needed the time spent got shorter and shorter or they would come at times that wasnt planned and when HOPSICE care set in it all went down hill no one would communicate with us we were giving the run around and hung up on and talked to rude on the phoneso basically it was failure to respond to phone calls, request for assistance or support and innapproiate behavior by the personnel period!on the day that my mom passed away Provider name locked. 8 the hospice nurse told her "that she has 2 days to live" and after she said that my mom was so upset she passed away within the 3 hours and that is one of the complaints becasue the hopice care did not provide theservices that they said and my mom insurance paid for those services and had they commincated with the family we woould have knew what stage of illness that our mom was in, The experience was just bad for us all and we thought that hospice would be a great program and would provide comfort and care for outr mom and the family during the ending of lfe for people but that was not so in this case and I am sick about it and having nightmares because I fell that we failed our Mother.
