Home Inspection reviews in Portland

We have a rental house that we get inspected every 2 to 3 years, just to be able to stay ahead of any possible issues. we've used Apex for years and are always extremely pleased with their work. They're knowledge, professional, and full of great tips on how to keep the house well maintained. I'd highly recommend them!
- Grace L.
Because bedbugs had definitely been sighted in the hallway, we were so relieved that they had no spread.
Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. were both professional as could be.
They arrived right on time, and were thorough in what they did.
He also answered a lot of our questions and gave us much information about bedbugs, their spread, habits, prevention of spread, etc.
The following day, the property management company brought in its own pest control person.
I was there to watch him at work.
His inspection was a "lick and a promise", compared to what Provider name locked. did. And I am speaking of just what Provider name locked. did. He turned over furniture and cushions and was slow and thorough in his inspection. The other service was way more perfunctory in their inspection. And then, with Provider name locked. , there was Provider name locked. inspecting as well, giving us, essentially, a double inspection.
As I mentioned, Provider name locked. inspected two cars that had been possibly infected with bedbugs. Without Provider name locked. ,'s inspection, there is NO WAY that anyone could visually inspect all the cracks and crevices in a cars -- Provider name locked. finding nothing in the two cars gave us total peace of mind. Lastly, Provider name locked. inspected all our purses and backpacks: another area that it would have been impossible to fully inspect visually.
I recommend this service HIGHLY!

Provider name locked. was rude and unprofessional to my partner and I from the beginning which should have been my first clue not to use his services.
Provider name locked. did inspections on a duplex that I ended up purchasing and somehow missed inspecting some very important water damage to the sub-floor that wasn't disclosed to us when we purchased the property.
I found his inspection report to be sloppy, sparse and not detailed at all. In fact, our appraisal was so much more informative compared to what Provider name locked. provided us, which was much more revealing in describing the actual condition of the house.
I contacted Provider name locked. first before resorting to social media for a review, but he was quick to tell me he couldn't do anything for me. That's fine, I work in real estate and will highly recommend against using his services to my friends and clients...
