    Great communication every step of the way. Soil Solutions was fast and efficient. My tank had already been drained and the soil tested years ago, but was not done by a certified company. Felt great to get this all done by DEQ standards. I would definitely hire again!

    Couldn't have asked for better service. Jake was super knowledgeable about the process and the requirements and was a single point of contact throughout the work. They came, did the soil testing, came back to cut open, drain and wash the tank and then filled it in and decommissioned it. They showed up when they said they would, did the job with utmost professionalism and left it in such great shape you can't even tell they were here. Super happy.

    Carson Oil

    I've just been using the oil supply. They had always been a reasonable company I thought maybe they had a repair service as well, so they seem to be pretty solid people. They did the right thing and it was a little tricky because the boil burner itself that's on there now is a pretty old so it took a little time, it took a day I think to get the part, and they did it. The equipment is getting so old, it's going to be unrepairable. They did the right thing. They took care of it as fast as they could.

    They did a great job.  It took two tries but they were able to remove enough soil to pass DEQ's test.  They filled the hole and left the property clean.  They came in within their estimate.

    I had to wait a while for the guys to get here.  I was originally told they were going to be here in the morning but they arrived at 3:30.  It took them about 2 hours to complete the work.  They cleaned up after themselves.  Its the third time I've had to use Alpha and would recommend them to anyone that needs work done.

    First Call Heating & Cooling
    I have had first call since I first moved into my older 1920's home 25 years ago. I had them replace the oil burner in 1992 and now wished I had put in a gas burner /furnace then. The home has plaster walls and is not amenable to a duct heat system and the house is big. I was worried about the environmental impact of my in ground oil tank going forward and especially if/when I came time to sell my home. First Call has always been great with service calls and I have their guardian contract. I dealt with Paul H and he was fabulous from start to finish. I thought their price was a little high looking at Angie List comparable reviews but I knew they would do a good job. The job went well and gas line was not an issue. Decommission went well with fortunately non detect soil samples so tank did not have to be dug up. New system is so much quieter and so much more efficient. My gas bill is a fourth of my oil bills. House heats quicker and furnace so much quieter. I even got an energy rebate and First Call did all the paper work for me. They may be a little bit more but I would recommend Paul H and his crew. The oil tank decommission was an additional 3,000$ on top of the 11,000.

    Priestley & Sons Oil LLC
    Always a pleasure to do business with!  Called on Thursday and Mike delivered the oil on Friday.  I had misread the tank and Mike verified the tank level for me. I asked about a Tank Service Contract and Mike went over it with me and decided to purchase one.  . Wonderful Service. Great Price. Quality Product !
    Thanks again;

    Dug to and removed top of previously pumped-out tank.  Took the required soil samples and found about 10 X threshold contamination.  That triggered an air sample test under the basement slab, the results of which cost a kilobuck or so but were apparently OK.  They then did whatever one does to the internal volume of a decommissioned tank and sort-of filled the hole they dug.  More landscaping will be required to restore the original grade.
    But the real problem, aside from the fact that some of the tests may have been unnecessary or faked ( a concept I hadn't even contemplated 'till I  read some of their reviews here), was that they contaminated the ornamental ivy between their hole and the street heavily with oil.  When I pointed this out and asked that they clean it up, their response was "Oh, it's just dirt, sometimes it looks like oil".  The best they were (grudgingly) willing to do was "come and look at it" in the next week or two.  When I sent Emily (the project manager) an email asking what she thought the DEQ would think if they saw it (I had previously sent her pix), the oil and more than a little of the ivy, was gone the next morning.  So she knew what the DEQ would think.
    All in all, they did just well enough to get paid, but not nearly well enough to get recommended.

    Our 1950ish house had a buried heating oil tank. Twenty year prior the oil tank was decommissioned. During the sell of our house,it was discovered and soil samples determined the soil at one end of the tank was 10 percent above DEQ requirements. Test one cost $330, test two cost $1900, test three cost $1900,and test four cost $3500 for the water. They wanted to take a sample in the neighbors basement which they refused. What was determined?? After the test nothing changed but my bank, No further action needed. I feel robbed. Calling is financial suicide!!

    Air Pro Heating And Air Conditioning
    I was referred. Some friend gave me his name. He was excellent. He was excellent in showing me what was out there recommending an appropriate size furnace. Given my square footage, I didn't need one of the bigger ones but he still got me one with very high efficiency that qualified for energy credits and some rebates. He did the job very fast. He was very responsive in giving me a bid which is very reasonable. I got a complete furnace at a reasonable price. I didn't get more furnace than I needed like my neighbor across the street got a huge one that just blows the place apart from somebody else. He gave me the bid. He made the arrangements for Northwest Natural to come out. His people showed up. They took away this huge humongous old oil furnace burner and installed a new one. It took maybe 3 days at the most and it was excellent. He got me all the paperwork I needed for the energy stuff and everything that was done was great. He's just great. If this weather keeps up like this, I may have him do an air conditioning system in the fall. He's exceptional.
