    RUEBEN CORTEZ INTERIORS
He responded very quickly (within 24 hrs) to a request for a quote. Important as my house is for sale and needed to look good ASAP after my plumbing repair. He scheduled right away to do the work, returned when he said he would, was punctual (early). Did the repairs efficiently and with good workmanship. Manner was friendly, courteous, and professional. Highly recommended! His price was higher than another quote but professionalism, convenience, and peace of mind well worth the difference.

    Lo's Contracting, Inc.
I had a drywall repair and installation job that needed specific attention and I knew Amadou, of Lo's Contracting, could get it done. In fact, on my current project, Amadou came up with a solution to my ceiling challenge that was not only remarkable, but cost effective and that is what I look for in a professional. I would refer Amadou and all his contracting services to anyone.

    Lo's Contracting, Inc.
People were friendly and professional. (The texture person was hard to understand due to language barrier.) Everyone arrived on time for the estimate, i.e. initial visit, but for the remaining returns, the workers were always about an hour late. (This was not a problem for us, but other users should know.) Drywall and orange peal texturing in the bathroom went fairly well. However, the texturing had to be redone near the base board do to sloppy taping. The paint was nicely matched, but the painting skipped an area under the window. (We did not notice the skipped area until after the painter was gone. By this time we had given up, due to multiple reworking and did not report to Lo's Contracting.) In the bedroom some of the texturing was falling off the ceiling. The job was to remove the loose texture and re-texture. The texture style was knock down. The first attempt to retexture appeared as a patch work. I called Lo's and one of their managers came out to inspect and agreed the knock down texturing needed to be redone. The next day the texture showed up an hour late and argued with me about redoing his poor texturing job. Finally he redid his job and this time it appear fairing good to me. (The arguing may have be do to a language barrier.) Painting the bedroom ceiling went very well. I would hire again, but only if a better rated company is not available.

    ALEX FREDDI CONSTRUCTION LLC
We had a wonderful experience with Alex Freddi, from the imagining and design process, to Alex working with IKEA to get our kitchen design down, to working with Gary, our project manager. Both Gary and Alex were kind, prompt and quick to answer our instructions, and though I partly work from home, Gary's presence was a comfortable and light experience (we sort of miss having Gary around all the time!). One thing I didn't love was the quality of the paint job and some of the mess Gary left behind while he was working. Our basement was covered in sawdust after the electrical work was done (we waited a couple weeks for something to happen and eventually my husband cleaned it himself), and on the last day there was still drywall and sawdust in spots throughout the bathroom and kitchen. Additionally, we asked Gary to come back and clean up his paint job and add another layer of paint to the baseboard moulding because it was obvious it wasn't going to hold up to scuffing or dirt. While those two things were a little trying, it just took some honest communication on our parts (and we probably should have brought these things up sooner, but we're new to this) and Gary took care of the problem efficiently and kindly. The kitchen especially is a dramatic transformation from what it was before, and we are absolutely loving it and so relieved things are done up to code now. While we didn't do a ton of work in the bathroom, what Gary did do has made such a huge difference it doesn't at all feel like the same room. We are so grateful and will 100% call Alex Freddi again for any other remodeling.

    ALEX FREDDI CONSTRUCTION LLC
I don't think my project would have come out as well as is did if I had not had Alex in my corner. He was more of a subcontractor since I was doing quite a bit of the work my self, but was so helpful in letting me know the how and where for's of running a project. He went far beyond what he was obligated to do for me, making sure I knew all of the ins and outs of permits, inspections and just generally there when ever I had a question. It was so nice to have someone respond timely to my e-mails and kept informed on my progress so he could have his people in to keep things running smoothly. Without a doubt I will work with Alex again on any construction projects I my have in the future.

    RUEBEN CORTEZ INTERIORS
Ruben said what he would do and then did what he said. We had to negotiate some curve-balls from the Portland building inspectors, but Ruben was always there seeking to help find solutions not creating new challenges. He is an excellent contractor to have on your team and will help you make your project a win:win. He communicates well using text msgs which makes quick work of issues that inevitably arise during the completion of a multi-stage job.

    ALEX FREDDI CONSTRUCTION LLC
My experience with the team at Alex Freddi Construction was outstanding. From the start they were professional and transparent, highly organized and helpful. I had plenty of time to make choices for materials and spent a good deal of time talking through the projects so that we were on the same page. Gary, the project manager and Sergio, the tilesetter were great to work with - very knowledgeable, respected my space throughout the project and offered good input and advice when I asked for it. Their initial bid was pretty close to the final cost and we worked through a few changes and issues along the way. Remodeling can be stressful and challenging so it's important to have a good working relationship and establish trust. I highly recommend this company and would work with them again.

    Moon Construction Inc
I needed to do a full renovation of a house, which included a new roof, back deck, windows, bedroom floors, and interior/exterior paint. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets needed to be refurbished, and the ceilings and walls needed to be repaired and retextured throughout the house. Moon Construction was able to all of this and more in 6 weeks, despite numerous weather challenges. The quality was great. Marco worked with me to identify other repairs needed, and was very patient and flexible with my renovation lender. I highly recommend.

Len was great to work with. He understood exactly what was required to get the job done, gave us an estimate that stayed accurate with billing, brought in a reliable crew, and completed a quality job. His attitude was upbeat, and we felt we could count on him to solve what we perceived as a complicated project. We have already recommended him to a neighbor interested in redoing her bathroom, and we won't hesitate to hire him or recommend him to others in the future.
