"I’m happy with her. She gives excellent service. She’s very up to date with her technology and has excellent concern for the patients. In fact I’m going next week to see her again."

"I was a patient for approximately 3 years, when I visited the provider I had taken a year or more off from the dentist. I had visited Green Dragon Dental but did not feel comfortable getting fillings done and wished for a second opinion. After my first meeting with Mrs
Portland Dentists Provider Name Locked
I was given an aggressive treatment plan for my fillings, a lesson and lecture on flossing and brushing. Over the next few months I had multiple fillings performed; overall the quality of the work was great no problems. Once the treatments were completed I resumed regular cleanings and exams. Each time I found myself visiting the office, my initial perceptions were tainted. Every single visit, the dentist would require x-rays be taken and I would have to kindly request they verify the insurance will cover it. I felt like I was inconveniencing them with my request to check; but I have never been to a dentist that requires or needs x-rays every time, typically it would be once a year. X-rays were being taken during visits for fillings even. I also understand the need to floss and brush daily and continued to work on improving those habits but I felt like I was on the chopping blocks when visiting the provider. I recall a comment once that she had other patients that needed more important things like root canals and not fillings. I found that very unprofessional. I also found it disappointing when the dentist would get up in the middle of a operation and go see another patient. Here I am, mouth numb, equipment sticking out and I wait…. Every visit, the dentist would find another filling and that raised suspicions. I understand being thorough but it is important to consider the necessity and timing of the treatment as well, since dental services are expensive. I would also find it frustrating when the dentist would be doing one filling and just decide to do another while in there; without really explaining the need or potential financial impact because when your mouths open and you’re in the chair it’s hard to argue. In parallel with concerns about the “necessity” of treatments, I began having issues with insurance billings and being overcharged. The office staff will “estimate” your liability based on what the insurance provider should cover; unfortunately multiple times this estimate was incorrectly calculated resulting in overpayment. After sending email, leaving voicemails and filing a dispute with my credit card company I finally received a phone call back stating there was an overcharge and a refund check would be issued. It has been almost a month and still no refund check, the dentist has also chosen to contest the dispute with my credit card company after already verbally agreeing that they did incorrectly over charge me for services. After the last year, I decided it is time to find a new dentist—one that I can trust to recommend a treatment plan that is necessary and bill me properly for services. I found the transition to acquire my files, rather rocky and I’m still waiting for a hard copy even after submitting the paper work and emailing. I’ve recently visiting another dentist; one highly recommended on Angies List and was informed much of the treatments were properly minor and the “most recent’ treatment plan that I did not go through with at

If you do choose to visit
Portland Dentists Provider Name Locked
be prepared to wait a good 2-3 months for an appointment and when they cancel on you the reschedule time isn't shortened. Seems the office staff spends 90% of there time confirming appointments and 10% addressing concerns of the patients.

"I came to Dr
Portland Dentists Provider Name Locked
after losing
Portland Dentists Provider Name Locked
coverage years ago based on a colleagues recommendation and her location close to my home. She is the most conscientious and thorough and nice dentist I've ever worked with. Her attention to detail is terrific as is her attention to your wellbeing/comfort. She gives you a full mouth exam and works with you on a reasonable dental plan when needs arise. Her hygenists are similarly kind, efficient and careful.

"He's very thorough. He knows the most accurate and latest technology to look at your

, teeth, and your overall health. He takes a holistic and systemic approach as opposed to looking in your mouth and just fixing your mouth. His availability, treatment, and bedside manner are great. The office environment is clean, beautiful, and the staff friendliness is great. I will continue to use him in the future."

"I am very pleased with him. He provides all kinds of basic dental services. It is a very homey, comfortable, convenient place. It is low key, and they don't try to pressure you with their high-tech. So far, the fees have been very reasonable. I took my husband there, and have recommended him to others. I have no complaints whatsoever. He is very professional and very well-equipped. He does not try to push his services on you."

"I like the dentist. She's friendly and she doesn't hurt me. I see the hygienist more and she's very gentle with the cleaning. I would continue to use the practice in the future. In fact, I will be going there next month."

"I was looking for a convenient dentist that didn't require downtown parking. Mint Dental is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. They are very easy to work with and extremely professional. "

The one area where I give this practice low

is availability. Dr.

works at the

Grand Avenue Dental Office now and it's very difficult to get timely appointments there for any provider, probably because they have so many patients. "

"They saw me on time, took an x-

and were able to fix my tooth right then and there. Very nice office staff, the Dentist was great, didn't even feel the shot. An hour and 10 minutes after I walked in the office, I walked out with my tooth fixed and I will be going back. Haven't had a family dentist in years, looks like we have found one now. Thanks Angie's list!"
