  • Provider name locked. is the best home mortgage consultant I've ever worked with.  We were in a large hurry as we had sold our current house and had to close on a new house in less than 4 weeks.  She was extremely detailed, precise with what she needed, communicated very effectively via email and kept us abreast of the progress of our loan application.  She responded to our emails after-hours and over the weekends as well and had such an amazing sense of humor that she was able to reduce the stress of the whole situation to virtually nothing.  WF was backed up with underwriting and yet she was able to push our work through on the day that we needed it.  I highly recommend her!  Very positive experience.

  • don't refinance with them.  don't finance with them at all.  don't be fooled by a "salesman" who makes a product look appealing.  Remember your loan agent is just that an agent.  Look closely at the actual bank that services you loan.

  • My primary loan is with GMAC and they have been wonderful to work with.  Provider name locked. has not.  It has been problematic from the start.  While this loan is small in comparison to the primary loan, it required far more documentation.  While I applaud their desire to be thorough, the process could have been smoother.  There were several "additional" things they needed once I provided the information they originally requested.  I spent approximately 8 hours completing documentation for this loan compared to an approximate 1 hour spent on the primary loan.  While they made sure they had ample information on me, they did not spend time making sure I had all the information I needed.  I was surprised by an annual fee that was not disclosed in the initial process.  There was no annual fee on a prior second mortgage and I did not think to ask about one.  I am certain that it was in the fine print of the loan.  It is my fault for not requesting the documents prior to the signing.  Anyone who has ever gone through a signing of a home loan is familiar with the Provider name locked. of paperwork to sign in a short period of time and how overwhelming it can be .  Still, I would have appreciated the loan officer pointing out this detail. The website was reasonable to navigate.  The billing process could have been smoother.  Somehow I failed to set up reminders and have had to remember to pay on my own.  I have not missed a payment but would have appreciated an e-mail reminder of some sort.  It was easy to make electronic payments from my checking account to them. It was easy to use their checks to make payments to projects for the house.  However, there was a serious problem when I attempted to do so electronically.  On the first attempt it failed.  I called and spoke with the representative, walked through the process with a third party whom I was trying to pay on the phone at the same time (a three way call).  I confirmed account numbers and routing numbers.  I asked if I should expect any problems, she did not know of any.  It failed again.  At this time, two payments have failed and this makes me look bad.  I am livid.  I call Provider name locked. and they tell me that while my account can accept payment electronically, it cannot make payments electronically.  I will have to use the checks they gave me.  I explained that their mistake has cost me money and ask for a refund on my annual fee.  I am promised a partial refund.  This is on 3/14/11.  A few weeks pass and I have not seen the refund that was promised.  I speak to Provider name locked. on 4/14/11.  He says I should go to a branch for the refund.  I explain I am not working with a specific branch and he consents to a $50 credit.  I ask for a confirmation number, he declines to give me one but says that I don't have to worry, it will be there.  It is now May and I have not seen the refund.  I feel I have been ignored and lied to.  I have told my friends about my experiences and strongly recommend against using this company.  I will pay off this loan and never use Provider name locked. again. Update: After posting this report, I forwarded this report to Provider name locked. .  I had a much improved experience.  I was forwarded to someone who not only listened to what I was saying but also made sure that things were done properly.  She kept me updated and she even credited me more than what I was asking for.  She was very apologetic for my experience.  This has resulted in an improved rating.  I'm not sure if the turn around in care was due to my Angie's listing or due to getting ahold of the right person.
