Oral Surgery reviews in Pittsburgh

  • When I called for an appointment, I was given one within a few days.  The staff was courteous and very helpful, even calling my insurance company to be sure the procedure was covered.  Dr Provider name locked. told me exactly what to expect and described the cause and procedure.  Since my office visit was a consult, there was not time for the procedure, but he offered to accommodate me anyway!  Since I lived nearby, I went home until he completed two sedations.  The office called me 15 minutes before Dr Provider name locked. completed the second sedation so I could return to the office.  He then took his time to do a meticulous job and not rush, even though his day had officially ended.  The staff did not rush me out the door.  I will have a post-op visit in two weeks, but I have not had any problems, pain, or discomfort, by following Dr Provider name locked. 's directions for healing.  He is still the best, just as I had remembered!

  • I don't like to give bad recommendations, but it was uncalled for. In fact, I went in for the 2nd visit they were getting the pattern for my denture, and the patient in the next chair got up and walked out. So not having a dentist myself, I went to Aspen and they almost pushed me into using their oral surgeon. I already had arrangements with another doctor. I didn't know that I should have gone to him for the initial consultation and then gone to this doctor for the dentures, but they went about telling me this in the wrong way.

  • On the pro side, the staff was friendly and the environment was very professional. During the procedure they were very receptive to the level of pain I was in and treated it accordingly.

However, the issues that I had involved the effectiveness of the treatment I received there. My appointment was to have several cavities drilled and filled. When the dentist drilled out the material for my front teeth he took more than half of my tooth. The result of this excessive drilling is that whenever I bite down, I can feel the tooth flex and it causes pain. Additionally, the filling was not smoothed out, so the face of the tooth has a rough surface left on it which is a constant irritation to my lip. The backside of one of my other front tooth was not properly filled in, thereby leaving a crack. This was left even after I mentioned that it didn't feel right. The filling broke within a month of this procedure, leaving a sharp jagged tooth. Finally the fillings in my rear teeth are still extremely sensitive to cold, a sensation I was told would fade within a couple of months.

All told I was extremely dissatisfied with their services.
