I began taking piano lessons from Provider name locked. in September 2006 and am playing songs I like already. He is an accomplished pianist yet is understanding that I am an older beginner who wants to play for my own enjoyment. I am not interested in classical, and he understands what I want; to play standards, some blues (love those blues), and some jazz. Therefore, my lessons are tailored specifically for me and are not rigid and inflexible. He is very patient and encouraging yet critiques when need be. The fee is for 30 minutes and is well worth it.- CYNTHIA L S.
I have taken lessons from Mr. Provider name locked. for 9 months. I am an older beginner, and he has been wonderful. I wanted to learn just for my own enjoyment and satisfaction. He does not press me to play pieces in which I have no interest; such as, classical. He stated if I didn't like the piece I will never play it. He has given me encouragement and critiqued where necessary. In 9 months I can read music and play songs I select on my own (as long as they are not too difficult). He is a very patient and accomplished instructor who teaches children and older adults.- CYNTHIA L S.
Bill Provider name locked. is an excellent teacher and a very nice person. He has many, many years of experience, an excellent reputation in the music industry, and provides support to the Pittsburgh Junior Orchestra. My son really enjoys learning with him and has excelled under Bill's instruction. I highly recommend Bill Provider name locked. !- JANET K.
