TOTAL FRAUD!!! (TLDR version is this first paragraph) While they are based out of Texas, they serve nationally. I reside in Pittsburgh, PA. This company is a total and complete fraud. We needed temporary insurance until my husband was eligible for insurance with his new employer. Ill get into details below but I want to make sure that people who dont want to read all of this get the most important info right away. The original plan they sold us wasnt even insurance, but they force you to agree to the plan before giving you any info whatsoever, and then give a time limit to read over everything before you sign, or the plan offer will expire. We called back, they apologized and gave us an actual insurance plan although when we received the paperwork 3 weeks later, we realized there were severe limitations on what it was supposed to cover. The plans were supposed to expire Jan 2nd, but they started a new plan without authorization or even talking to us! They withdrew the money for the plan and bounced our account, and even worse that was the money we needed for the employer plan, so we couldnt even start our new, ACTUAL insurance!!! I called customer service, waited 1 hour and 34 minutes for someone to even answer the phone, and THEN, if you can freaking believe it, they transferred us to the cancelation department only to have the phone ring 5 times then sending me to a voicemail with a message saying Were sorry we cant answer the phone right now, please leave a message and someone will return your call. NO option to hold or any other number to call to speak to anyone. Multiple calls and messages were never answered or returned. I promptly called customer service back and they told me they dont handle the billing so there was nothing they could do. We had to a file fraud complaint with our bank to get our money back!!! I strongly urge you to read on, but if not, I hope this was enough to save you from making the mistake of choosing this company. A More detailed account: When we first called, they read off all of these benefits that this plan offers, then force you to sign up for it before giving you any actual literature whatsoever. When you ask for it, they read it off to you. You only get the virtual paperwork after you agree to the plan and they send you over to the agent responsible for getting your electronic signature, promising that you will get everything and can read it before signing. However, they email 10 pages of small print with multiple places to sign which technically gives you the opportunity to read it except the agent is on the phone with you and they are quite exasperated that you want to read everything while they wait (making most people uncomfortable enough to sign without with fully reading it). On top of that theres a ticking clock, you only have so much time to sign before it expires. So, they assure you that if you find anything you dont like they will happily cancel the policy. The first insurance they sold us wasnt insurance at all. It was a reimbursement plan. They pay you $35 for doc appts, $500 for ER visits, etc. Even though they repeatedly told us it was insurance, it was not. The only way we figured this out was buried within the paperwork a box we had to check that said that the plan would not satisfy the government insurance requirement thus we would get a fine at the end of the year. Their excuse for giving us this plan was that it was the only one that fit into the budget, meaning that they took what we were paying for our previous insurance and decided that was all we had available to pay for premiums. Then I talked to a supervisor who apologized up and down got us an actual insurance plan. Pivot Choice 3x4. If thats what you could call it. Heres an example of the coverage: Its a $35 copay for doctor visits, but they only cover 3 doctors visits per plan period. I had existing back problems, so for $200 a month I could get $75 for a doctor visit, limited to 3 visits total. I can get $35 for a wellness visit, limited to one visit total. These plans were to last 90 days, ending Jan. 2nd. Come the 3rd, our bank account was overdrawn from a $564 withdrawal from Adroit Healthcare. When I investigated it, my husband and the kids plan did expire as of Jan 3rd, but they took it upon themselves to create a new plan starting Jan. 3rd without even talking to us at all, let alone getting authorization! Furthermore, I found that my plan didnt expire at all. So, I called customer service, and after waiting 94 minutes for someone to answer, they wouldnt allow me to cancel the plans without speaking to my husband (who thankfully was able to answer. He works in emergency services and obviously isnt always able to answer his phone while working). Funny they needed his authorization to cancel the policy but didnt need it to begin the new one! So, as previously stated, they transferred me to the Cancelation Department, only to have the phone ring 5 times and send me to voicemail that says they cant answer, and I must leave my number so they can call me back. I made 74 calls to this department over the course of the day, none of which were answered nor returned. That is the actual number of calls on my call log, not an exaggeration. And It does not include the calls my husband made from his phone. I thank God we didnt actually have any incidents that required medical care. Considering the experience we had just starting/ending the policies, I can only imagine what would have happened if we had actually needed to use them!!! Oh, and on top of all that, after we purchased the plans, we kept receiving phone calls from representatives to trying to sell us health plans. They obviously placed both my and my husbands numbers on a call list or sold them to other companies. It started with calls every hour the first day, but the second day the calls were coming in every 2 minutes. Sadly, youre going to think thats an exaggeration, but I cant stress enough that it is not. If I could, Id post pictures of my call logs showing that the calls were between 2 and 5 minutes apart. And those times are not including both of our phones, those calls were coming in every 2-5 minutes on EACH of our phones. We couldnt make any other phone calls or send/receive text messages (let alone do any of our daily activities) because the phones were ringing literally NON STOP. It took several days of answering and telling them not to call before the calls finally stopped.

    Pedro Aguilar, M.D.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Aguilar. I needed emergency back surgery in November 2016 due to an infection. He has a terrific bedside manner, didn't rush through any appointments, and spent time with my family to answer any of there questions. The surgery was a major success and he even corrected some issues I was having with my back outside of the infection. I highly recommend him!

I fractured a toe and wrist while out of the country on vacation. I didn't want to seek medical attention in a foreign place, so I needed to see a doctor as soon as I got home. They saw be quickly and got things attended to.

I've been seeing Dr. Beyers for about 18 years now. I've never had a bad experience with him. He is always willing to answer any questions I may have and spends as much time as needed to ensure I am comfortable. He is very thorough in diagnosis and treatment plans as well.

He's an expert!  He knows which plans to use based on your needs.  He got me a great plan and is very inexpensive.  Even with the research I've done, he got me a much better plan.  He gets back in touch very quickly and is very professional.

I am going to give them a C, jury is still on them whether I am happy with them. I've only been with them since August so it is less than a year and I am still trying to figure it all out. I don't have a lot to compare it to so I am going to say C. I really don't know. The few I looked at were reasonable but I am still learning so for now we'll say C.  They send me a lot of letters. I haven't had an opportunity, I'll be doing that shortly, so lets go with C on responsiveness and hope for the best. Coverage is a C because that is really a tricky one. I take 6 or 7 medications, two thirds of them reasonable as can be with Cigna and you get into something like one of my inhalers and the co-pays are absolutely ridiculous, $150 a month. For some $6 for 90 days, that is wonderful. Go for albuterol  and it is about $100 and a half a month. They send me the bill on time and I've never had an issue where they didn't get my payment on time. I send it back the same day I get it.

Bill was wonderful -- knowledgeable and responsive.  He helped sort out what policy would be best for each of us,  researched some of our complex issues in medical costs, and reminded us of all the aspects of total medical cost that we should consider.  I believe we ended with much better policies that fit our requirements than if we had not had his help.

I don't think it is the worst but sometimes when you need to get in it takes a little while.  The people are good, so care is good.  The staff were good.  The office environment is pretty good.  They are very convenient for me.

    CVS/Pharmacy
I don't particularly like them but all my prescriptions are there. They have a lady behind the counter that they should fire, and I don't know why they don't, she's rude, she's nasty, I think she's been there a long time and must be related to somebody. A couple of times, I've gone up to get my prescriptions and they are not ready, even though they'v got hours to get them ready. They're punctuality is not what I'd call great.
