  • Overzealous testing that leads to extraordinarily high bills. Performed an aortic ultrasound, which no other doctor can make heads or tails of. Makes you wait an hour, hour and a half just to get 10 minutes of his time. Staff could not figure out how to fill out scripts or procedure orders, which left me with no other choice than to go elsewhere. Avoid!

  • On August 3, 2018, I had a root canal performed at the Pitt Dental School. The procedure went extremely well, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Pitt Dental School, and especially, the extremely talented Dr. Robert Hasselbach. I was very nervous about the procedure, since it was my very first root canal, but Dr. Hasselbach was WONDERFUL! He was very kind, patient, and understanding, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Hasselbach explained the whole procedure to me in detail, and then he again explained what he was doing each and every step of the way. He put my mind at ease. And he also patiently answered all my questions. He was also very understanding if I needed a short break during the procedure. I am so grateful that Dr. Hasselbach was able to save my infected tooth. And I am so glad that I was randomly assigned to such an outstanding endodontic resident, who also happened to be a super nice person! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to the Pitt Dental School if you are on a budget and trying to save some money on a specialized procedure, like a root canal. You will receive TOP QUALITY CARE at a fraction of the cost of a traditional dentist or endodontist. My root canal cost 1/3 of what other practices around the Pittsburgh area were going to charge. My regular dentist had highly recommended the Pitt Dental School for my root canal, and I trusted her opinion. I'm so glad that I did. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I hope that I never again need another root canal, but if I do, I will seek out Dr. Hasselbach and/or the Pitt Dental School. I received excellent care, and for that, I am very grateful. P.S. I have heard from various friends and from reading online reviews that if you are going to Pitt Dental School for general dentistry (exams, cleaning, fillings, etc.), you may need quite a few appointments, and it will take a lot longer compared to going to a regular dentist--because you're dealing with dental students. I work full time, so the Pitt Dental School isn't a good option for me for general dentistry. But when I needed a root canal, I made an appointment, came in, and got the procedure done--all in one day. Easy peasy! Dr. Hasselbach did caution me at the start that I MIGHT have to come back for a second appointment, depending on the level of my tooth infection, but fortunately, he was able to do everything in one visit. Anyway, I think if you are a college student with a flexible schedule, retired, unemployed, or anyone else who makes their own hours--then the Pitt Dental School would be a good option for quality care at a lower cost. But if you work full time like me, you might want to only go there if you are in need of specialized dental work, like a root canal. It really depends on your situation, your level of patience, and your budget.

  • My husband and I have worked with Brian for more than a year. The expertise and guidance he’s provided through our strength training sessions have been amazing. His weekly updates and redesigning of our sessions have kept us progressing consistently. Additionally, he is very professional - on time, ready to work, kind, encouraging, and thoughtful. We highly recommend Brian!

  • Brian customizes each session to our individual needs, creating very different series of exercises for me and my husband. Brian adjusts the session if he sees that we're not feeling well and not up to the challenge or increases the challenge if he thinks we can!

  • Extremely well. Brian develops a thorough full body workout without machines and bulky weights. He is very polite and accomplished in what he does. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone that wants to improve their physical condition.

  • Brian is extremely dedicated to his clients and genuinely cares about helping them succeed. He is very knowledgeable, creative with workouts, and changes workouts and goals to meet my needs. One of the best things about having Brian as a trainer is that he listens! And responds to what I am asking. He checks in with his clients frequently. He has a wonderful sense of humor. Brian is motivating and knows how to get me to push myself in a workout.

  • Excellent Dr. Marotta and his staff are outstanding. I know several people who use his services and have never heard one complaint. I have used his services for over ten years and it is amazing how some minor adjustments relieve pain.

  • I can't say enough good things about Dr. Aguilar. I needed emergency back surgery in November 2016 due to an infection. He has a terrific bedside manner, didn't rush through any appointments, and spent time with my family to answer any of there questions. The surgery was a major success and he even corrected some issues I was having with my back outside of the infection. I highly recommend him!

  • I was hurt at work and was told to see him. He only saw me for a total of 5 minutes for each appointment. He gave me samples (amount to cover 3-4 days) of an anti-inflammatory med BUT never indicated that this was a new drug. Information about obtaining additional medication was incorrect and needed to call his office for additional medication He prescribed another medication, not the original one; something which he did not know when seen a second time. Does he not read the medical notes in my chart before seeing patients? Second appointment garnered less than 5 minutes of his time. His displeasure at my having notes for questions was immediately apparent. Breezed in and out. He recommended a knee brace ONLY after I came in with one for the second appointment. His demeanor throughout was uncaring and unprofessional and uninformed of my current medication prescribed by him. I had asked for a few days off to give me knee a chance to heal as my job is rather physical and involves lifting heavy items and prolonged instances of standing and walking. His reply was "We don't do that." To me, his reply implied that there was a "policy" about giving time off under workman's comp. I advise seeing another orthopedic who may actually care about his patients well-being and care, and who spends time actually listening to their concerns.

  • My family and I have been going to Dr.Tesla for years. I started going to him, after a chain eye store screwed up my prescription glasses. He is fast, efficient and friendly. I also buy my glasses there to save time and money. They take many eye insurance plans.
