    The Pittsburgh Painting Co
Bill's responsiveness to our constant stream of painting needs is impeccable and an example of his high business standards. Always available to provide estimates for projects, identify the best quality team for our needs and ensure that the project is done to our entire satisfaction, are just three of the reasons that we enjoy working with him. Bill also makes sure that his painting crews are on time, focused and fastidious in cleaning up their work spaces. These painters are able to paint our very busy office spaces during business hours often with minimal disruption. Bill @ The Pittsburgh Painting Co. is a pleasure to work with !! Thank you, Bill! SWEET SUCCESS CONTRACTORS
Chris and his crew demonstrated the utmost in professionalism and courtesy. They treated my home in every way like their own. They brought their craftsmanship to the job to ensure the best possible outcome. They carefully listened to all of the concerns, put together a plan of action with explicit, written deliverables, and then delivered on that promise. They persisted in the job until it was complete and we were satisfied. I also appreciate how they did not take on work that was outside of their expertise. I highly recommend Sweet Success Contractors for any job they are willing to take, and I'll surely return to them for future restoration work.

**DO NOT HIRE** STOLEN MONEY and finished half of the repairs. Now no contact nor any refund. Im from West Mifflin PA (a borough of Pittsburgh PA.) In August, I had hired a contractor to perform major repairs on 2 homes I own in the amount of $21,650 for all work. On one house, I needed the detached garage sided and painted, I needed a new roof, the chimney needed pointed and the exterior needed painted. On this home, the roof, garage and half of the exterior of the house had been painted with major runs and overspray on the previously painted white trim. On the other home, I had a roof installed and the house was prepared for the siding job. I Made the mistake of prepaying for the siding, at the contractors recommendation in order for him to purchase the siding. The guarantee from the contractor was that all of the work would be completed prior to Pittsburghs 1st snowfall. If you know anything about Pittsburgh, it starts snowing in November. Nonetheless, I have 2 very incomplete homes and I had prepaid the contractor $7650 with my out of pocket expenses being at $19,000 of the $21,650 he had signed contracts too thus far. It has been 3 months since Ive heard from this contractor at this point. The contractor will not return calls, texts or emails and when he knew I wasnt home he came and took all of his valuable tools and ladder equipment (which I have on camera), leaving behind used up materials trash and in one instance, human excrement in a Walmart bag. I simply want the work completed ASAP or I will be taking any and all extreme legal actions possible to get my prepaid funds returned. Furthermore, Id like to ensure this contractor will no longer be providing services to other victims unless they can research his complaint history. Thank you in advance for your time.

DO NOT hire this man he is a con artist. Last April we signed a contract with him to paint the exterior of our house and gave him a down payment of more than $1,200. He strung us along for MONTHS saying "we were next in line" then "sorry I can't come my car broke down" then "sorry I can't come my power washer broke" etc... and at least 3 times scheduled to come and just simply did not show up only calling us afterward. By September he had still not painted a single thing and because the weather was getting colder we were forced to hire someone else to do the job. When we contacted him for a refund he refused saying we were being charged for "storage" which doesn't even make sense since he's a painter and we told him if he had to paint to just bring it to our house. We finally tried to have our legal consultant contact him and turns out the address is fake. I repeat DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS!

    ESP Painting
ESP is among the best contractors I've ever had in 20 years of owning my home. They are not the low-cost guys, and in fact were the highest bid we got. But the quality of the work made it absolutely worth it. They were timely, clean, easy to have around, and helped us figure out some home issues that were technically outside of the scope of their work. They have checked back to make sure we were satisfied, and were happy and quick to address some minor issues. A top-notch business, happy to recommend. We will be hiring them for other work.

Everything went really well. The crew was professional and friendly. The work was top notch. They were also good at communicating and easy to work with. Just a really top notch experience and top notch results. This is the second time we have used PP, the first time for exterior work, and of course, this time for interior.

    SWEET SUCCESS CONTRACTORS
We had used Sweet Success last year for refinishing our front porch railing and installing a new porch floor and gate. Since that job worked so well, we contracted with them again this year to paint the siding and extensive wood trim on our 3-story century-old home. But the job became a much larger one when Chris' testing revealed that what we thought were harmless siding tiles turned out to contain asbestos fibers and had to be removed, since scraping them as part of the painting preparation would release the asbestos fibers into the air. And so what we thought would be a painting job turned into a home restoration job that took about 4 weeks for Chris and his team to complete. They followed all appropriate environmental regulations in removing the asbestos siding. Chris worked closely with us to identify and purchase replacement fiber cement siding that would be appropriate for our house. Chris and his crew spent literally days scraping and grinding down the old layers of paint so that once painted, the wood trim looked like new wood. When they had to replace worn wood they finished and trimmed the new boards so they exactly matched the originals. When they ran into difficulty trying to apply the siding pieces to a wavy portion of the front facade, they problem-solved and put in the extra time and effort to ensure that the surface looked flat and no evidence of the difficulty of this part of the job was evident in the finished product! Our house has a lot of windows--a 7-window and a 3-window bay on the 2nd floor alone--and we have old storm windows that had to be re-painted as part of the job. They primed, scraped and re-painted some 33 window panes, and even planed and fitted them back into the windows at the end of the job. Chris and the team professionally and artistically applied a 3-color paint scheme to the house exterior. The lines were clean and straight and no stray paint marks/drips were left on the windows or painted surfaces. At our request they offered a couple suggestions to enhance the pattern of color application. We took them up on their suggestions and the results were great. We were also impressed with the safety measures Chris and his team took in protecting themselves from injury and our home and landscaping from collateral damage. They made extensive use of drop cloths on our porch, bushes, and even our sidewalks. The 6-person crew from Sweet Success was a group of very professional, highly-skilled craftsman who worked together well and cooperatively solved any problems they encountered. Crew members reported to work at 7:30 every day they were scheduled and did not require close supervision--they knew their jobs and appeared to take pride in their work. They worked steadily all-day, were always polite and helpful, and patiently responsive to all our questions and requests. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves as they went along, as well as when the job was done. We cannot imagine a better group than this one to have working on your property. We couldn't be more pleased with this latest work on our house. Through Chris and the Team's efforts, we now have the loveliest-looking exterior of any house in our neighborhood. Now let's be clear: Sweet Success is not cheap but neither is their work. If you want terrific outcomes, and a job done correctly that will give you many years of enjoyment, use Sweet Success. By the way...we already have a job scheduled with them for next fall! Thanks again to Chris, Paul, Gregg, Jake, Curtis and KeAndre.
