    1. he was 45 minutes late for the 10-noon appointment window. 2. He refused to honor the "Appliance Diagnostic Call" "Here's The Deal". The deal price was $99.99 and he insisted I pay $130. I gave him $130 like he asked.

David did a great job. I raised some concerns after his initial visit and he came back and reviewed the job with me. He made minor modifications to ensure that I was comfortable with the repair. He is personable, talented and very customer service oriented. I've also not seen anyone so hard-working in a long time.

From my son, located in Bellevue: After several debacles with another service company, and nobody else having any availabilty, I called Niyalu. My refrigerator was down for almost 2 weeks and we had spent several days off work awaiting another company. I called Niyalu at 10:00 AM, they arrived at around 12:15 PM, and I was putting food back into my refigerator by around 3:00 PM. I was even provided a GPS link to the technician at the time he said he was in his way (which is unnecessary, but nice). I have to say, compared to the rates I was given from other places, theyre on the high end. However, they make up for that with the level of service you receive. As the old adage goes, Good work aint cheap, abd cheap work aint good.

Requested a list of potential repair services. In theory we were supposed to be given three services to consider/choose from. We were given ONE. And that one (Niyalu Repair Service)? We were *unable* to contact them -- their voicemail box was completely full when we called them; we had to scramble to find a different company (NOT through Angie's List, BTW!) -- that *other* repair service came when we needed them, and the part the fridge needs is on order.

It could not have gone any easier. They were kind, they were efficient, they were prompt. They walked us through the whole process. They made it as uncomplicated as possible and payment was received in a most timely manner. We are quite pleased and would recommend them to others, as we have!

Very pleased with the service. Our washer is working like a champ! We were able to text pictures of the part of the washer that was malfunctioning, therefore he was able to have the part ready to install when he arrived. Patrick responded quickly, arrived promptly, was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The cost for parts and labor was very fair. We would recommend his service and would hire again if needed!

    Max's Appliance Repair
The temperature in our GE Profile refrigerator and freezer started rising. So I called Max and he suspected a problem with the defrost system. He said to try unplugging the fridge and keeping the doors open for 24 hours. That did the trick and the fridge worked perfectly, but only for a few days. I called again and he was able to come fairly quickly. He looked in the freezer, saw ice on the back, and told me that I would need a new main board for $175 and a new bimetal thermostat for $45, plus labor charge of $120 (total $340). The service call cost me $96.24. His opinion was that it wasn't worth fixing the refrigerator for $340 and that I should just replace it. That didn't seem right to me. So I did a lot of research online and watched a lot of YouTube videos. I learned that the most likely causes for this problem are faulty thermistors, thermostats, and main boards. I learned how to test the resistances of thermistors and thermostats and how to detect bad capacitors and resistors on the main board. I found out that I had a bad thermistor for the defrost heater, and a new one cost me just $7.81 on ebay. Much better than $340. It's been almost 2 months now and everything is working great. Max is a nice guy, but it seems to me that if he's going to charge me $96.24 for a service call, he should have done the appropriate diagnostics to determine which part was faulty, instead of taking a shotgun approach to replacing the two most expensive parts. As it turns out, his "fix" wouldn't have even fixed the problem. But I do give him credit for identifying the defrost system as the culprit.

Everything went fine. The repairman came in the day after I called, identified the problem, and fixed it in the span of about an hour. (For the record, the problem was that a fan had broken, screwing up the airflow, causing the refrigerator to stop cooling properly and ice to build up in the back of the freezer.) The fridge works perfectly fine now, and I have no complaints.

I called the number listed, but I didn't have the model numbers of my appliances. I called back, with the requested information. I was then texted back saying the person didn't repair dishwashers any longer and was on vacation.

Very good work. Called them on Friday morning and they were out that afternoon and the repair was done before 430. Its working great now! I would definitely use them again. We needed a fan motor replaced which was making a lot of noise.
