  • I had been having bad pain in my foot and finally decided to see a physician. I asked my primary care for a referral, as I did not know any podiatrists. I was given this clinic name, but my primary care told me she had never actually gone there, nor did she know them. It was a name given to them by another patient. I am a great believer in word-of-mouth, so I made an appointment. When I arrived, the waiting area was standing-room-only and we (my daughter drove me) had to wait for about twenty minutes in the lobby. When we were seated in the examination room, we waited approximately ten to fifteen more minutes. A middle-aged Asian man came in and we told him we were scheduled with a different doctor (I had chosen her because I prefer to see female doctors if I can). He was remarkably rude and told us we could see him or not see anyone. He told me there was nothing wrong with my foot, he didn't know the nature of my pain and that was that. He got up and left the room. He never laid a finger on me to examine my foot, never offered to shake hands and never once looked me in the eye. I would never go back to them, nor would I ever give their name out as a referral. Do NOT use "talus" - they don't care about you.

  • We started seeing Dr. Provider name locked. on January 16, 2008. He used various methods to dress the wound, but did not use the "standard and customary" method for this type of wound until approximately April 9. After the standard wound dressing was applied (a pad glued to the bottom of the foot with a hole in it for the wound), the healing process was much better. However, at almost each visit he performed a debrisement around the wound and in one case cut the skin surrounding the wound to the point that it almost created another wound. Also, approximately early-April we got a report from the vascular surgeon that surgery was not an option. When Dr. Provider name locked. got this report is when he chose to use the standard type of dressing. On April 24, 2008 we chose to see another podiatrist. In his opinion, this wound should have healed a long time ago and he took the walking boot and threw it away, calling it archaic and useless. He also redesigned the shoe insert Dr. Provider name locked. made and which we think caused the wound in the first place. Since seeing the new doctor, the wound looks much better and is healing faster than ever. There is a world of difference between Dr. Provider name locked. and the new doctor. I would never go back to Dr. Provider name locked. .
