    Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy
I received treatment for my broken foot at Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy. The therapist asked me many questions to determine a course of treatment for me and added new exercises each week. All staff members were quick to guide me through exercises. I never felt left alone, as I did with a previous physical therapy facility. Stacey was extremely helpful in my recovery.

It doesn't get any better than this. How do I know? I've seen well over 50 different Chiropractors as I've travelled the country for business and sports over the last 20 years. I'm not exaggerating. Dr. J is incredibly thorough, is an excellent communicator, and amazing at getting the problem diagnosed, and corrected. He also suggests different exercises for prevention. If you are going anywhere else, you are wasting your money/time. Cheers

    Truckee Physical Therapy
I called on a Friday and they were able to see me the following Monday. My therapist was Sabine, who I know has been there for many years. Though the physical facility isn't much more than a storefront with a single treatment room, an office and open space with some scattered equipment, Sabine knows her stuff. She was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. She was also training a young  PT student and asked if I minded if he observed. After routine paperwork, Sabine and the student began to poke, prod and question quickly narrowing down the possible causes of my back pain. They quickly deduced that my other treatments, advice and stretches had only aggravated the situation by causing more inflammation, not less. They spent and hour and a half with me, gave me some simple exercises and a big list of "don'ts" including most of what I had been doing in attempts to remedy the pain. A stern lecture on body mechanics, a sheaf of diagrams from how to and not to lift, sit, etc. and I was out the door with a follow up for 3 days later. By that next appointment my back felt better than it had in over a year! She simply re-enforced and clarified the exercises and admonitions she had given me before and did some minor massage  to see if she could loosen the problem area even more. I insisted on one more follow up appointment two weeks hence just before I have to leave the area for the winter. I didn't want to be without her sage counsel as I headed for my long drive home and a winter without her PT for my back!

    Pongratz Orthotics & Prosthetics
I use a long leg brace due to polio and needed a replacement. Joe, the owner, fitted, measured, had constructed a new one. This is a long and arduous process but he did it with patience, humor, friendliness, and desire for my satisfaction. We are still working some of the details out, but I'm very confident all will be fine. I have been going to Pongratz for almost 8 years, the new brace is just a few months old. He kept me going in the old one for over 8 years - a new record.

They are really good doctors! One doctor said he would have to amputate my leg, so I was really happy to go to Dr. Campbell and have him tell me that he would attempt surgery. He was able to reattach my foot and ankle to my tibia. The surgery was successful and I am able to walk on it. There is still some problems with nerve endings, so I will need to go back to look into that. I am still grateful for what they were able to do. I really trust that they can help me.

They provide excellent experience. I go there 3 times a week for treatment and they always work things out very good. They use “matyx” to perform massages and also provide regular massages. They use this for muscle cramp and help you to perform physically better.

    PHOENIX MOUNTAIN NURSING CTR
My sister's care at PMNC was outstanding in every way. Every staff member we encountered, from the custodians to nurses and social workers, was friendly, courteous, and did all they could to help both patients and their families. My sister felt welcomed and well cared for from her arrival until the day of her discharge. Patient rooms are bright, spacious, cheerful, and exceptionally clean. Patients are encouraged to socialize by taking meals in dining rooms set up like those in a good restaurant. Meals offer well balanced, tasty food and enable patients to choose among items at every meal. The medical care my sister received was top notch. She has several chronic conditions, which the doctors and nurses closely monitored. And the physical therapists she worked with helped her regain strength and movement without pushing her beyond what she was able to do without pain. The Center does a great job of keeping patients active and engaged. During her stay, my sister took part in crafts classes, movie nights, an outdoor luau picnic, and other activities/social events. The staff also dispensed nightly treats (ice cream, etc.), and there are resident pet therapists (two golden retrievers and a cat) who regularly visit with patients. Patients' families are also encouraged to bring pets from home to visit. Administrative support was excellent; we had wonderful experiences with both the facility's social workers and their billing department.
