  • They are not cheap and we expected good service and quality photos. We have very large family. Duke missed up on taking the 7 photos requested. Instead took many extra photos in hopes of selling more photos. They missed up on the digital repair. They took 7 months to get the photos done. They guarantee 100% satisfaction, which they did not do. They insert two photos that my parents did not want on the invoice. My are in their 80s and did sign off on the photos. We only realized the addition of these photos on the pick up. We left one, and took the other in case somebody might want it. Yet it was not the intent to purchase.

  • I met Julie at the park that was predetermined. Julie was very professional but also handled my daughters with ease. My pictures were returned to me within a week. We have received raving reviews on the pictures when given as gifts/ hanging in my house.

I have referred Julie to several friends and family. ALL have come back with a positive experience.

Julie is very responsive to messages and super easy to work with. We will be using her again!

  • I first met Julie on a local swip swap page on Facebook when I posted that I was looking for a photographer to do our maternity photo shoot. From the get go Julie was very kind and answered all my questions and concerns. She had great advice on where the best place would be to do the kind of photos I was looking to get. She was very professional and was amazing with my six-year-old. Even brought him a ninja turtle sticker book for after the shoot. We were so pleased with the results from our maternity photos we had her do our newborn photos also. I was nervous at first when I booked her just because these are moments that you can never get back. It's not like it's just family photos that you can capture again if you arent pleased. But I'm happy to say that that was not the case and I was over the moon with both shoots. I highly recommend Julie to any of my friends and family that are looking for a fabulous pictures at a fantastic price. Thank you Julie for capturing two very important moments in our life.

  • Cathy (and her husband) were so kind and helpful.  Cathy took great care in taking the photos and they turned about wonderful!  Not only did I get great pictures but I made two new friends.  Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

  • Doug showed up early to set up before the party in order to photograph Annabelle and Jack for their 1 yr pictures. He took many photos of the babies, together and separately and then photographed the birthday party and did groups of people with the babies. There were MANY group photos due to so many relatives and people at the party. He connected SO well with the children and was conscious regarding the fact that children have an extremely short attention span at that age and found ways to entertain them and didn't once get frustrated or push them too much. He was so nice, professional and patient ,even with the complete chaos of so many people being around. The one thing I did not want was a bunch of "run of the mill" photos like chain stores offer. I wanted him to capture the "real" moments of this once in a lifetime event and he MORE than delivered. overall he was extremely professional, punctual and patient with a large group like ours was. HE has an amazing talent and I beyond happy that he got to share that with us and we will have such beautiful memories now for a lifetime. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for that "extra something" with a photographer. I will most definately spread the word and tell everyone I know how very pleased I am! Happy happy happy!!

  • Upon searching, researching and pricing out several wedding photographers, I came across 2020 Vision Photos. I was impressed with the good eye in Lou's photo portfolio. Initial email contact with Lou was very quick, friendly and professional. I met with him and he asked questions on preferences and so forth. He was warm and seemed to really have a passion for photography, and showed natural talent. Thank goodness he was available on somewhat a short notice and was very reasonably priced, too. He made a special trip to our chosen venue to scope it out beforehand since it would be his first time there.
Everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Lou was on time and ready for action! He did great with us on directing, and finding good aesthetic flow and lighting. We did have one snafu, as he was taking photos of our rings on a lily pad over a coy fountain, my wedding band fell in! Lou did not hesitate to jump in and sift through the rocks, muck and fish to find it (and thank goodness it was recovered!). Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for, majestic, relaxed and unforgettable - and Lou of 2020 Vision Photos captured it flawlessly!!

  • It was a mixed bag. While Bob was friendly and prompt, the quality of the portraits was poor. My son had to do a lot of photo shopping on them before we wanted to print them. For example, in the photos where my father was sitting in a chair, his pants were bunched up at his crotch and pulled up at the ankles. My son had to correct this. A good photographer would have seen this and corrected it before taking the photo. Instead of just snapping candids (it WAS a digital camera), he made us pose for and quot;candidsand quot; which of course made us look awkward and artificial. We trusted him as a professional to help with the poses and arrangements but that was a mistake. We had to do a lot of suggesting and arranging ourselves. And I don't know why but most of the photos looked washed out. My son had to adjust the color and exposure. We also had to do cropping because he didn't fill the frame with the people. To his credit, he was very quick at getting our photos to us and he was willing to work early in the morning on Mother's Day. His prices were reasonable but I guess the old adage is true - you get what you pay for. In hindsight, I wish we had gone with the photographer who was more expensive but the portraits on her website look a lot more professional and creative. Sadly, we cannot recommend Bob Stambach for portrait photos.

  • Jessica does a great job.  I have several copies of the pictures she has taken, and have seen many of them on the computer.  Her quality of work is excellent and I can not ask for better pictures.  Even though I didn't hired Jessica directly myself I have her work and my daughter have always been very satisfied with her work.

  • I have so much more knowledge of how to use my camera now that Mr. Farrell has taken the time to explain how everything works.  I used my expensive camera as a point and shoot because I didn't know any better.  I now know how the various mechanisms work with each other and am looking forward to using my new knowledge for much better pictures.

  • My wife and I took an Introduction to DSLR Photography seminar through Orcatek Photography.  The seminar was conducted by Dean Farrell.  The presentation was extremely interesting, Mr. Farrall was able be both entertaining and informative and was able to present the material in an easy to understand format.  We had just recently purchased a Canon Ti2 DSLR camera with all the bells and whistles.  Unfortunately, we understood little what the bells and whistles were for.  Mr. Farrell went through each setting, describing what it was for and how and when to use them.  That short, afternoon seminar back in November has led to some of the best photographs I have ever took.  I now understand proper composition, the rule of thirds, lighting theory, etc.  Thanks Dean, I am planning on taking your Photoshop seminar in the very near future!
