  • He is a young doctor but he has a very good bedside manner.  He listens, explains and answers all my questions patiently.  He makes you feel comfortable and his staff is very friendly, accommodating and well trained.

  • The office was not what I expected. It's in a strip mall and fairly unkempt and disorganized. The front desk was friendly enough. Dr Provider name locked. was friendly and extremely talkative. He gave me a physical exam (very, very quickly) and it seemed the exam was just to justify the fee. After that, we talked and I told him my needs and what meds I took, etc. He then sent me for blood tests.
The blood tests included over 17 tests and numerous vials to be taken. Dr Provider name locked. hadn't warned me and since I do not like to get blood drawn it was a negative experience. He should have explained how many vials would be needed. Also, he neglected to tell me I needed to fast before the tests, so I had to go twice. Very inconvenient. In addition, I had to do some urine test and send them away in the mail for results (?). It all seemed like overkill but I went along with it, even though my regular Dr. in Tucson never required all this to prescribe bioidentical hormones and help me feel better.
I made a follow-up appointment and things went downhill from there. The tech who met with me first took me to a room that was messy at best--empty fast food cups sitting around, etc. Also NO ONE wears a white coat or lab clothes. Everyone was in Provider name locked. and sweaters--even Dr Provider name locked. . Very odd. A little too casual.
I sat in Dr Provider name locked. 's office and he sat down to talk to me about my test results when he abruptly got up and went to give a testosterone shot to another patient. He literally interrupted his time with me to do this. The shots are a cash business for him, so that is probably his first course of interest vs. prescribing. I know that sounds cynical, but it is true. He had tried to sell me on them during my first visit. When he did come back he did a LOT of talking, again, without really saying much or asking me much. I was tired of the whole mess and just requested the prescription. Obviously this wasn't going to be a place to meet my needs.
In the end, he prescribed some hormones which worked well for me and I got from a regular pharmacy, but I wouldn't go back. Messy office, too much talking; not enough listening or explaining and neglectful service plus having to pay up-front equals a sketchy situation.

  • She is very thorough and kind. The whole staff there is very gentle and kind. Sometimes you have to wait a little while after your appointment time but the availability, treatment, and bedside manner are great. I will continue to use her in the future.
    - Aimee F.
